  1. Congrats mate, Nice talking to you yesterday! Let's definately Arma sometime, drop me a PM when you're going.
  2. Hey all, I was thinking the other day how much I used to love playing Sim City when I was about 11 or 12. With my knowledge that I have now I'd quite like to get myself a game that involves running a population efficiently, etc. It appears that the Sim City series stopped around 2004 and I was wondering if anything has exploited this "gap" in the market. One thing I have found is Cities XL, does anyone know if this is the top game in that genre out, or are there others? Cheers, Ed.
  3. I think we have our answer
  4. Personally, i'd slay. For this, i'm not so sure. I probably wouldn't use combat to train magic, i'd research spells more, there's a briliiant guide on the forums that has listing of exp/hour and gp/hour to help you achieve maximum efficiency. Ranging, I'd probably range green or blue drags, banking the hides and bones, to generate extra income to allow you to get your own whip! Hope this helps.
  5. HP is what Constitution was before they stupified it. ^^ Ohh, okay, i've been wondering that for a while :-) Grats, but work on those skills!
  6. I Lol'ed OT: Good job, I remember my first, they come flying in after this :-) 6/10 from me too.
  7. The grey triangle became released into the market when the GE price floor was removed. Although yes, demand for them has also fallen with the fall in the price of maples too.
  8. I'd go for this, roughly. I'm not a PKer in any sense of the word but it seems logical not to call yourself "cbowthenddsspec" <- just an example obviously :D Then again as a poster above me said, it may be beneficialy to have your stats difficult to look up. Although I feel that's largely been made irrelevant due to font changes? Anyway, it's short so as far as I'm concerned that's good.
  9. Hi and welcome to Tip It. This sub forum is for people requesting help, as opposed to offering it out. There is a forum for guides where you could upload your video, if you wished to expand your guide. There is also somewhere to post your videos/screenshots, if you wanted people simply to see it. However, this is the wrong forum for your video.
  10. First things first:I changed my name after the update whereby they released non-used names. I am now known as Socrates, for no reason oher than I have a passion for Philosophy and I think it's a cool name After 96 prayer I said i'd try and get WGS done and get 70+ in all skills. Well I wasn't exactly sure if it was going to happen or if i'd get bored or whatever but here it is. I used the 400k exp reward to get my RC up to: Then I used double exp weekend to get me these two: All herbs collected myself from farming I completed all the Fremennik dairies and I used the lamps (as well as a bit of mining guild) to get me this: With one skill left I did a bit of PP last night then a few more hours this morning to give me this: My stats after a fair few levels recently stand at this Goals for the future? Well I'm not exactly sure, I think a bit of monster hunting as I have the gear ready for that. Since making back a fair few mill from slayer and DKs. Overall i'd quite like to get 85 or 88 herblore so I can MH more efficiently and i'd quite like to finish off prayer just for 126 f2p and another cape. So i'm looking at about 100m needed. I'd also quite like to finish off my quest cape but we'll see. I plan to fund some of my money with double astrals so i'll continue ZMI I think. Done one part of it already [hide=ZMI] [/hide] And yes, I do know i've had some strange conversations over PM
  11. As the person above me has said, the bug got fixed. However, fletching and cooking must be two of the easiest skills to level on a budget. Just cook your best fish, finish your best bolts and you'll have it in a couple of hours.
  12. Yes, you can. 43 prayer is a minimum. I believe slayer dart helps, but it's not a necessity. There are some guides on the Archive of wisdom that cater to players with lower levels.
  13. As the others have mentioned that PP, blackjacking or the scorcerer's garden are your best bets. They way i'd look at is like this.. If I wanted the best exp going, i'd blackjack. If I wanted to be able to watch tv, chat on msn (a bit) or other various stuff, i'd PP - it's far less click intensive If I wanted a mixture of them both, i'd 1 click the scorcerer's garden - I must add I've never done this, from what I have seen it needs one concentrated click/run. But I am not sure. If i were doing it, i'd PP all the way - but then again, i've not tried the scorcer's garden.
  14. Unfortunately I am not, although i'd love the exp! You'll have a much faster response on the official forums, i can guarantee you that! Your other option is to look the people around you up in the high scores and ask nicely (i may add) if they'd help you out. They're almost certain to say yes ;)
  15. Don't knock drinking ;-) I use RS to fill time, but I worked out I could have made a silly amount of money working at minimum wage, wish I remembered the figure. Then again i'd be kidding myself if I thought I'd have the ability to work for that long :D
  16. Ooh, looks good to me! This is the first Jagex channel video i've seen so it's quite nice to put a picture in my head of what's going on!
  17. This is exactly it, the update is, in the long run, going to benefit us with arguably more enjoyable content. It might be annoying or confusing at the moment but all it's going to take is a few days/weeks/months and we'll be back to normal. To be honest if people are going to whinge about how it's ruined the game, they're more than welcome to leave, but i'd rather they didn't run around GE spamming the screen or any other creative mediums they use to show how upset they are.
  18. Look at all the high-level updates that have been coming out recently. In addition, we aren't the ones they need to lure into members - that's for the new and low-leveled players. From a business perspective, they want the maximum amount of paying members for their game; it's not greed, it's business. Too right, you are. Exactly
  19. Awesome! Thanks for the info.. Nabbed myself Socrates
  20. I'm almost certain this is it
  21. Very nice! Particularly like to overloads as that's what I'm working towards. We've played about similar amounts of time but you appear to be more efficient than I am :)
  22. I'll rate the fact you take school seriously 8/10
  23. I'd be there. Time to get a passport. Actually.. Who needs it to be legal. Party in the USA anyone? Anyways, off to bed for me. :D You need to be about 14 to buy spirits in the UK :-) All expenses paid trip to Cambridge.. Hmm, that'd be about £40 in a taxi then. Although perhaps I could live in a "second home" in australia if I win and ask them to reimberse my plane tickets. Heck, I should be a UK politician.
  24. Same here. Although that's not to say i might put some cash into herblore to merchant. If i'm not mistaken doesn't it also mean that herbs + seconds will go up massively before the udate then as it's going on most potions will drop in price due to the huge influx in supply.
