it's a scam indeed. they say it costs 7 euros, so it has to cost 7 euros, no matter from which country you called. I have to say tho that if you made the call with your cellphone, they clearly say that it costs a lot extra :)

If you have a clan with only (or mostly) dutch people for example, it's not impossible to organise. I think that big clans like THE, DI and others could never do that, because they have members of all over the world, and it wouldn't be cheap to organise. It's not bad for the spirit in a clan though, because if you have seen the people who lead you you respect them more.

I got ears and scythe, but these kind of clans aren't competitive. It'll probably be mostly people who play RS occasionaly, and have absolutely no time (or not so much time anymore) to invest heaps of time to start up a clan. If you just search "oldies" to chat with, we're talking about something different. But I would call it more a group then.

If you keep telling yourself this you might believe it. For a company that makes millions of dollars a month, the bugs, technical mistakes and costumer support is horrible. They removed the wilderness, while they knew there were millions of people who only played because they liked (the already sucking) pk-ing. The switch from classic to RS2 was horrible if we talk about PvP, and now they made it worse. Rushed? JAGeX themselves were so smart to have updates every week, under the motto " Quantity is better then quality ". There is a reason people who are over 16 join WoW from RS, because it has no challenges left, no dangers (oh no players could get killed in a zone that clearly is made for it, let's get rid of it :roll: ) and no real gameplay is needed to be good. Just freaking and playing long hours. JAGeX maybe doesn't care about it, there are always enough 13 year olds who enjoy this type of game (and they are right) but the real gamer notices after a while that this game doesn't take skill anymore, just a lot of time. The people who quote me saying, don't play it then, well I don't. The people who will quote me saying "don't post on a RS forum then" I will say you this, if you always say "Wow, the update of JAGeX is good." and never have some critsism you will never help to improve the game. This is a rant forum, the TS has a perfectly good rant and yet the first reply to his post shows how unconstructive you can answer.

Yeah addy pure. As for WoW, it's prolly interesting but I cannot do it anymore to get to lvl 70 and need a month of boredom before I can have fun. So I dno wheter I'll ever going to play it.

I do remember you, on my pker (dittos) I believe we used to PK. Weren't you a monk pure around level 63? Anyway, I have not really played another game since RS (an RPG I mean), now I'm trying WoW but it is boring as hell. I still miss RS-classic, especially the PK-ing. But it's all in the past.

Because rune was very expensive. The large helmets were for a long time only on the market because of the people with 99 smithing. Ofcourse the greaters drop them too, but it was very rare back then. R2H was the most popular weapon in F2P for PK-ing, so the supply wasn't enough to fill the demand. And the plate and legs, yeah again. Supply < demand. Less players, less items but a quite big demand so higher prices.

No to more power if you ask me. Locking own posts is stupid, we have about 50 mods so give them something to do. Ability to start polls, I couldn't care less and I'm glad that it's forbidden for users, since most of the topics don't need polls and people going to make a poll for everything. I find it funny how people let their opinion be influenced by staff members, stand up for your ideas if you believe in them.

I never understood the whole point behind a post count rank. I find it interesting to see how many posts I have made already, but really I am in favour of a removal of the rank under the forum name, together with the number. Put the number of posts in your forum profile only, as information. But yeah, as Albosky said in the topic Cruiser pointed out, lots of people will be really really shocked if that happens. (I'd like to hear 1 good reason why)

The only two things I don't understand staff doesn't let us discuss about is the quick reply feature (unless it doesn't belong to the phpBB package) and the bump button. But overall these topics are quite not worth to discuss about, so that's why they are forbidden.

Do you know someone who would be interested? I know Corr showed interest in tip.it CD a while ago, so maybe contact them in order to see if somebody of their staff is interested in a leading role. As for the others, I'm out of clans for a year now, but I see some people from THE staff posting here (HeavenlyEvil if I'm not mistaken Guardian Knight there, that's like highest under leader - also - Josh1391 events chief or w/e in TF, also a big (junior) clan ). Also some people of Gladz, Pker Dude Jr (still has some influence in clans I think) or why not contact some people of DI? I can assume that they are getting quite sick of RSCommunity and are looking for a decent alternative. Use people who know DI members (I'm guessing Pker Dude Jr and people like that, also Jens14 is a senior DI member & quite active tip.it user so ask him to bring it up).

Browse the CIC boards, enough of my ideas there. I find it very funny that ideas that I have seen in CIC (not only mines) are getting repeated months later as "new ideas". I always say the same stuff, and every time I re-say it I get another suprised reaction. No offense, but apps are a big nono on this one. It's true that you need a qualified person, but influence is as important in searching somebody. So you need somebody who can get (as a matter of speaking) 50 people to join tip.it CD, like a THE-clan council, a DI-warlord, a Corr leader etc. And not only 1 of them, better to have more.

Leadership? Lol. The CIC was "active". What do I read on this topic? The opposite. The CIC has "leadership". Give us the name then please? I'd like to only write down my ideas to somebody who actually listens/cares. If you cannot face the problem there is indeed no problem.
