  1. I remember well. However, I've never been the type to get excited over decorative armor, with which we are plagued. Now every snelm you see is perched atop a poor soul with combat in his thirties. And he's wearing at least one piece of addy. There is no deviation from this rubric.
  2. You all have your own silly idea of how wilderness teleporting works. It's really kind of funny. Home > Manual > Combat > Player Killing > Wilderness So, glory and ring of life work to level 30. Ring of dueling, and all other items and spells, only work until 20. Also, an ectophial cannot escape teleblock unless the ecto was clicked before the spell was cast.
  3. No it doesn't let me, well it didn't let me 4 weeks ago... Really? It lets me every time I try. It works for me today, and has for at least a couple weeks. I've only tried it with parlours and dining rooms, perhaps it doesn't work with all rooms.
  4. Yup, I have an ammy on the last patch in my round so that I know when they're all done.
  5. Thanks for the input. Essentially, I'm lazy, so I'm trying to do as few herb checks as possible. Usually I supercompost my herbs and come back in 80 minutes, and what dies dies. But, I don't want to lose any torstol, so I'm figuring out if I have to come around every 20 minutes or if 40 is plenty. I know herbs can't get disease on the first round, so that saves me from one check.
  6. As an experienced farmer of level 85, it may be surprising that there's something I have to ask. Or maybe I'm just conceited and tooting my own horn. Anyways, this is what I don't know and haven't gotten around to testing: How long can a herb be diseased before it dies? 1 growth cycle (20 minutes)? 2 growth cycles? Or is there a random chance of death every time?
  7. I think there's a few unresolved house issues. Damian agrees. You can build second floor rooms with no ground floor room underneath, for example.
  8. I wouldn't worry about wearing a HAM outfit for them. If it helps, which I actually doubt, it's a small enough difference to not be a problem.
  9. Funny idea. I'm already doing something close to that. I'm constructing currently, and planning to get to a battlestaff crafting project, so I chop oaks in Yanille and buy the battlestaves in the guild every five minutes. By now there's a huge chunk of money missing from my bank, but I don't know exactly how much I've wasted on construction, because most of the missing cash is in staves.
  10. I knew this was on the Jagex site, but it seems they haven't acted on it. They're definitely not talking about banner ads above the free game. You eat the Big Mac . You're lovin' it.
  11. Except nobody else could see the engines you drop.
  12. Short answer: The censor is stupid. When the engine upgrade came out, my name turned to Crea****. I had to put up with this for a few weeks, finally all eight letters worked again. But now since the last update, my name is Cre**his, and more short versions of my name are blocked than every before.
  13. Win one for me please! I'll tell you my pass. Just kidding! Or am I?
  14. So approval normally only drops 1% per day? That's much less than I thought. With these new numbers, I might consider using my kingdom. But I'm already often getting my daily sand, weekly tears, and planting herbs every 80 minutes, so a kingdom is really just more to keep track of.
  15. One teak tree southwest of castle wars. One teak tree southeast of Uzer. Two mahogany trees and three teak trees (and 2 plank spawns) on the southern half of Ape Atoll. Three mahogany trees and five teak trees (in groups of 3 and 2) in the Kharazi jungle.
  16. Thanks, this is something I was curious about. I'm looking for a low gp:xp ratio before I start training this skill. Also, magic stones are 1000 xp per, aren't they?
  17. Wow, that's... more than I expected. I take it we're not intended to train with them.
  18. They have more defense than normal gloves, but family crest gauntlets are much better, not to mention the recipe for disaster ones.
  19. Turn it another 90 degrees and watch all the monsters fall in the water.
  20. Yeah, this is new. Items used to fall inside of that stalagmite instead of on top. Very cool.
  21. With over half a year between the releases of laws and deaths, bloods might still be quite a ways off. I'd like them to release it soon, my runecrafting level has been ready for quite a while.
  22. There's a seven year old boy who enjoyed watching me play this game, and finally I let him make an account and try it out. He decided to make a female character, and was propositioned by a lady's man with a combat level in the teens within the first few minutes of play. Fortunately, the boy didn't think it was that big a deal. Off topic: When creepy is spelled that way I think I'm being greeted.
  23. I certainly don't want to be Crea**** for the rest of my Runescape career. I have quite a rant in the censored names thread already.
  24. Creaphis turns to Crea****. Henceforth I shall be known as Crea, Creap, Creaph, Creaphy, etc. Anything but Crefis is fine. Though I'd really love to have all eight letters back. Now here's a rant, maybe it shouldn't be here but I got caught up in the moment. This censor gets more ridiculous every time they change it. What Jagex should have learned ages ago is that no matter what they censor, people can still get their corrupt message through. Censoring www and com doesn't make telling website addresses impossible. There's always a spelling of every swear word that can make it past the asterixes. All that these censors do is make ordinary conversation more difficult for the law abiding Runescapers. Now, with most new censored words, over half the time we can't even figure out what their problem with the word is. Sorry, but what's offensive about "Phone"? If they're trying to prevent people from telling phone numbers, that information can still be told, as a "fone" number, for example. The ideal censor would just block the normal spellings of the worst swears, and then get out of the way. Jagex can't protect anyone with any more than that, unless they can stop every scam and profane comment in the mind before it reaches the fingers. Currently, the censor doesn't do the only thing that it should do. Certain colorful four letter words can be said loudly and proudly with a 5 before and after. There's only one place Jagex is going with all this. Envision a scroll down menu where our typing line used to be. In this menu will be clickable choices, such as: Hello. I have advanced a level! Congratulations! I received a valuable drop! You are lucky. Goodbye.
  25. It's hard to capture flashing with a still screenshot.
