  1. My clan and I were going to KBD worlds were full so I spent 10+ minutes world hopping to find us an empty world finally when I do find a decent empty one they switch and start killing it but I decide to hop for a different world cause there was still 5 ppl against us 4. Turns out they got a visage and I missed it...ugh I'm so pissed off.
  2. Yes, I for one love high detail myself. The extra view is excellent and the graphics look 10x better on a bigger screen. You should check out this extension if you like the extra space while you play in firefox. Compact Menu 2 - What it does is takes File, Edit, View, History, Bookmarks, Tools, Help & throws it all into one drop down menu. You can also remove some buttons and extra space to maximize even more storage space while playing. The only thing I view in my firefox is the navigation bar (where you type your websites) I remove the menu bar and the status bar down at the bottom. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/4550
  3. For some reason when playing RuneScape my laptop starts to heat up and makes quite a loud buzzing noise. It seems to "calm down" so to speak every so often when I close the client/web browser I play in and re-open it. Just curious why it makes this buzzing noise while running RS and heats up.
  4. 1) I don't give a crap or two about your "warning". 2) f2p doesn't deserve an update as they don't pay for jack ****.
  5. I do the following. Circus - It's only once a week and gives me free exp in 3 skills for 5 minutes of my time. Penguin Hunting - It's only once a week and gives me about 25-30k free exp in a skill of my choice, only takes 45 minutes to 1 hour to get all 10 penguins. Tears of Guthix - It's only once a week gives me free exp in my lowest skill. Battle Staffs & Seaweed - I buy them daily & make staffs to alch, it's a free 145k daily and free crafting exp.
  6. My definition of "skiller" is someone who enjoys spending their time on non combat skills. Instead of doing pvp and monster bashing a lot of the time when they play. In my opinion you don't have to be a lvl 3 character to be a skiller, lvl 3 skillers are nothing more than people begging for attention plain and simple.
  7. Lets go OBAMA!! wooo!!!
  8. There is no way of drop trading anymore and it is against the rules of RuneScape so don't do it unless you want you're account banned.
  9. I think they are not worthy to be quite honest, all I see them as are a bunch of players with decorated user names nothing more nothing less.
  10. Does anyone know how to get the broom enchanted by Kardia? I open the door and it deals me 20 damage, when I knock on it it says there is no reply.
  11. argg I cannot figure out the sweeping triangle puzzle for the life of me.
  12. Well I was browsing the RuneScape Official Forums tonight, knowing before I even logged into them that stupidity and children lie ahead. I decided to go ahead and make a topic in the Future Updates forum the topic would be about trying to get players to relax about the update and to try and stop making so many useless threads but to alas I was soon bombarded by stupidity. I was accused of "Mini-Modding" for making my topic I guess trying to help out the forums just gets people on your case of how you are suddenly trying to become a mod. Another poster then states he doesn't know how long I've been around and tells me if I've been around long enough that I'd know the forums are always like this right before an update is about to come out. The stupidity on those forums just simply amazes me, honestly now I am not being rude here when I say this, but I have not seen anyone as dumb before than the ones on that forum. I don't just mean this from the people in my post but having a look around at all the other posts as well. I suppose I will just have to not post there unless it is extremely important.
  13. In my opinion, something has to have been screwed up there I personally don't believe that much exp in some of those skills can be achieved in a day.
  14. It's people like this that ruin fun MMO's.
  15. I use Firefox, when Chrome gets extensions I may use it, but I doubt it.
  16. I see someone does not read the RuneScape news and updates.
  17. That sentence is not harsh enough, I believe the way the law of the land should work is "an eye for an eye". So since he snapped her spine in two, he should be dealt with the same way and have his spine snapped in two.
  18. Nice interview, seems Jagex is doing quite well with their business. Can't wait for their 2nd MMO, I just hope it doesn't get in the way of RuneScape Updates.
  19. duurr lets see here George it's 3:20am hurr hurr hurr.
  20. http://www.cnn.com/2008/TECH/ptech/10/2 ... index.html TOKYO, Japan (AP) -- A 43-year-old Japanese woman whose sudden divorce in a virtual game world made her so angry that she killed her online husband's digital persona has been arrested on suspicion of hacking, police said Thursday. Online environments such as "Second Life" -- where users control avatars -- have emerged in recent years. The woman, who is jailed on suspicion of illegally accessing a computer and manipulating electronic data, used his identification and password to log onto popular interactive game "Maple Story" to carry out the virtual murder in mid-May, a police official in northern Sapporo said on condition of anonymity, citing department policy. "I was suddenly divorced, without a word of warning. That made me so angry," the official quoted her as telling investigators and admitting the allegations. The woman had not plotted any revenge in the real world, the official said. She has not yet been formally charged, but if convicted could face a prison term of up to five years or a fine up to $5,000. Players in "Maple Story" raise and manipulate digital images called "avatars" that represent themselves, while engaging in relationships, social activities and fighting against monsters and other obstacles. Don't Miss * Avatars in rehab: Getting therapy in virtual worlds * iReport: Virtual September 11 memorials bring back memories, emotions The woman used login information she got from the 33-year-old office worker when their characters were happily married, and killed the character. The man complained to police when he discovered that his beloved online avatar was dead. The woman was arrested Wednesday and was taken across the country, traveling 620 miles from her home in southern Miyazaki to be detained in Sapporo, where the man lives, the official said. The police official said he did not know if she was married in the real world. In recent years, virtual lives have had consequences in the real world. In August, a woman was charged in Delaware with plotting the real-life abduction of a boyfriend she met through "Second Life," another virtual interactive world. In Tokyo, police arrested a 16-year-old boy on charges of swindling virtual currency worth $360,000 in an interactive role playing game by manipulating another player's portfolio using a stolen ID and password. Virtual games are popular in Japan, and "Second Life" has drawn a fair number of Japanese participants. They rank third by nationality among users, after Americans and Brazilians.
  21. How does a slight graphics update provide proof of a new quest? The NPC got a slight make over, you have no proof at all of a new quest.
  22. Get over it and move on, there are 100 other member worlds to choose from and play on. No need for you to throw a hissy fit whenever someone comes and attacks the same monsters in the same area as you.

Sounds like a good thing to do but I doubt anyone will catch on and use your clan chat unless you are at World 16 Airs most of the time you play to let people know.
  24. I for one don't normally PK when I play, however I will say this. When I was on a pvp server to play the update for the 30 minutes that I did I seen tons of immature kids running around pking one another, plenty of 1 itemers and people calling each other "safers". Pkers will never change their "un-written code" or whatever it is they call it because they're kids, it's simple as that. I pay no attention to when people talked to me while I was trying to pk someone and they called me a safer. I'm simply keeping myself well protected, if they want to let their HP fall low enough for someone to KO them, be my guest.
