  8. NO NO NO NO Go to your control panel > quicktime > Audio > select the rate of 44.1kHz select the size to 16 bit or 8 bit You should be ok now :) Next update should fix this problem

It's certainly not relaying it from tower to tower when your calling bejing thank you very much. exactly.. though nowadays with fiber being laid everywhere sats are not used as much.. they use undersea lines more and more for basic IP traffic (all cell phone calls are nowadays packets and not considered sounds till they are recived) well your semi right about towers i used to work for Sprint PCS customer service. They actually in meto areas will have your signal divided between 3-10 towers for best quality. (and to insure if your moving to have signals not drop as much) in rual or not so populated areas you could be connected to just one tower at a time.. but most often i think if you have a wallmart you have multiple tower connections.

  20. You're on the right track there. That computer has pretty much the same specs as mine and I'm comfortably running vector linux on it. (Ubuntu killed it outright) I was gonna try using ubuntu on my computer till my 200 giger started to die (seems to be ok now but nothing critical is on there now) So i have no HD space to use and i might try the live version for now

  22. i hate that they never include a proper install disk well.. if you have a friend that has a copy borrow it (not telling you to bootleg but borrow) or use the installers resize tool?
  23. ram was your problem.. CPU was more then enough.. but there is not enough ram so it was probabbly using the HD alot get 1 gig minimum 2 gigs for best
  24. i woudl try ubuntu.. its small and might work better for you...
  25. comcast is decent (though they might sometimes get problems and are slow to fix here in nashville) i would see which you can get faster with...
