I did not know where else to put it.. And I am not on Runescape right now... but anyone know why yet? or how bad it is (yes i am being a noob since i can't help fix it)

Ok, who pulled the plug on the IRC server? Not getting ANY response from the IRC server... no pings no nutten... Anyone know what happened?

you would only need one text at that point.. and it would be valid till you logged out (or say for a hour)

all thats easily done.. another option would be using cell phone and text messages. My bank uses that and its pretyt decent

That sounds pretty interesting, but how is JAGeX going to ship these devices to people all across the world? And how does JAGeX know that the account owner is getting it? And if someone has one, is each one registered to an account? So you still need to know the password and user name, but you also need to possess the device? Is it small enough to carry around and tough enough to not break? What if someone tampered with the device to cheat the number system? It just seems like too much effort for the tiny bit of extra security. And it could potentially cut down on the "play anywhere" aspect of RuneScape. Maybe if it was optional, so you could order one from JAGeX for a one-time fee of around $10 (including shipping). You will still need the username/pass but they are worthless without they fob/football/dongle. Its small and tough.. but if it breaks it can be replaced but once power is lost for a few minutes the device becomes useless. You can re-synch it with the server but it is a drawn out complicated process (and you can log in without it under that same process if you had to) which means cheating the device is useless.. if you have it its usefull.. The perfect thing is you can still play anywhere.

the E-bay football and the wow football (same device really) On the podcast security now, steve gibson talks about the e-bay football and how its a "one time key" What this does is .. I could give you my username and password.. and they are useless to you. this device keeps a clock running in it and when you press the key it will give you a 6 digit code to enter.. this # has such a small chance of being used again that it can be used to show that you are in possession of it. I believe this item could prevent 99.999999% of hacks and make things easier to work with in game. but they do have a cost from $5.00 (where the company subsidizes it) or about $30ish if the company does not. I wish Jagex would use this.

its put there for parents to tell there children they are limited to.. so that parents can be assured there child can't chat normally or get people trying to do stupid chat

what do you mean at the last part "try to make it go as smoothly as the video does" you mean the rhyming? thats going to be the most difficult part.. which is why i want lots of ideas.. (more ideas more work yes but more options) [/hide] Rhyming, yes, but also song structure (word flow), sound, video quality, and overall smoothness. If you want lots of ideas, the video must be long, but not too long to be boring. The original video is 1 minute long. Go for about 2:30. I was shooting for a 2 min video abouts.. I need video of her flaming the ship ( i did the quest back when it first came out)

Well i find myself enjoying both versions.. its easy to switch.. when i want to be on forums when doing some basic training i go to windowed.. when fighting or doing screenshots.. i go fullscreen.. but there should be something bigger but not fs.. I think they reason they don't do it is because it has to open a new window which woudl confuse people

I remember it lagging bad.. then i looked @ the cache files.. 71 megs .. and i bet all loading durring the worst of that first day.. since then its been good

someone got me but i never saw pics.. so did it happen? NO pic no PROOF :) i am out there killing black demons late at night (not now.. got to go to bed early)

I personally woudl love a bigger screen area but still windowed.. Wonder if Jagex can do it?

*chuckle* I play Galactic Civilizations II and for years they have been telling people with video problems to "UPDATE YOUR DRIVERS" and it fixes alot of issues.. but i am glad people are getting the bugs worked out

some1 in here got super large largest orrey in study? would be good for the intro.. Using fishing bowl and the temple knights armor you look like a astronaut. I am heading off to the doctors and might be back tonight where i can do some filming (mainly practice and testing)

it does nto do it for me but in full screen i use Howies Quick Screen Capture it can do bmp jpg and even png :) It saves as a filename+## so when you do alot of quests :) and works for me :)

for those that want to video.. I realize in game video of full screen is going to be NEAR impossable.. I tried and at 1280x1024 (my screen) it took nearly 250megs for 10 seconds. So Pics will be ok if full screen. (any resolution) Video of full screen, any resolution (and i will take video now if in RSHD) I would love it if someone got me the music first so i can do some things here

Fantastic! I was trying to think of a skillcape that we could do, that wouldn't give the video a bias. Quest cape is perfect! ok.. interesting for quest cape... but would love to get one of each and everyone doing theres at the same time saying "we love our skillcape"
