The story line can't hold a candlr to something like FF7 but then again... Its a gameboy game. I do highy recommend it though, some people I know don't like it but 80-90% of them love it. Me and three of my friends got it on half.com for ~$20

I love it how 95% of you Reagan bashers weren't even alive when he was in office  Was he the greatest? No, top 10 I would have to say. FDR's handling of the war whilst being paralized puts him up top in my book. -
We talking about this in Psycology. In the '60s people did a test where 5 volunteers were put into seperate locked rooms with no TV and they had cameras watching them. All they got were crossword puzzels, books, cards, bottled water, granola bars, and a diary. Every hour they had to right something. They were told to write in the diary every hour or so (they were gven no clocks or watches and the room had no windows) the person who stayed awake longest got 5 grand . Test Subject 1: After 23 hours wrote in the diary "I think I'm on hour 48 or so... I cant keep my eyes open much longer" She gave in. Test Subject 2: After 30 hours thought he was on hour 50 and passed out Test Subject 3: After 35 hours or so began to hallucinate but he said he knew that they were hallucinations. He said it was an ideal dream/drug experaince, he wrote that he say flying ponies and he talked to them and they would respond but he clearly knew that they were hallucinations. This is hard to imagine unless this happens to you. Test Subject 4: After 37 hours began to do push ups, walk quickly and talk loudly to keep himself awake. He was in the middle of saying "Hey now, I know I'm tired but that 5 grand is mine once I get it I will buy a new che....." At this point the man fell asleep. Test Subject 5: After 33 hours began to slap himself in the face to stay awake and after 46 hours began to hallucinate that aliens wanted to cut off his hands. Began yelling and had violent behavior. Staff interviened and walked in the room attempting to calm him down. They ended up sedating him in fear of his mental health.

That thing does look pretty sweet... I would fill it with candy and put it next to my computer 8) OffTopic: Its funny how now your estatic about it, but once you get it and the initail shock wears off it just becomes another thing in your collection. Or atleast thats what happened to me when I was waiting to buy my: N64, Gameboy SP, PDA, iPod, Laptop, Pokemon cards, etc :?

Twice this happened to me: I just got out of bed (6:30am) walk downstairs, go to my computer room, and sit in my leather chair. This chair can tilt 45 degrees and at the 45 degree mark you can push a lever and the chair will lock there--leaving you in an inclined restful position. Anyway, I always have my chair in that position in the morning and this one time as I watch my computer load I get a funny feeling. It feels like I'm falling backward quite rapidly. It's hard to explain but it feels like I just leaned off a cliff, there is no noise of wind going by my ears and I can look around and tell myself that I'm sitting down but I get this feeling that i'm plumiting rapidly. Its really wierd and doesnt feel natural :|

Argh, I hate it when sites beg for cash. Take *website* for example. This is the 2nd thime they have asked for several hundreds of dollars from their users saying "if you dont give us this money, the site goes." THANK YOU TIP.IT for not begging for cash. It just goes to show that the best things in life are free  Mod edit: Removed other site.. we don't want to start any wars. ~Wyrm

Activeworlds? I went to the website... seems interesting. So is it a RS like thing where you build stuff and walk around talking to people?

Well, I'm finally 18. Happy Birthday to me. :0 In the States turning 18 gives you a bunch of new powers. Now I can... -Buy Cigaretts -Buy Adult videos -Buy lottery tickets -Join the Army/Navy/Airforce/Marines/Coast Gaurd and kill people. -Get a credit card -Get a full time job -Sign all sorts of legal papers without needing a parental co-sign -Change my name -Move out of the house -etc On a negative side I can no longer 'make out' with girls younger then 18 :( and now in the courts I will be treated as an Adult. Yay. Anyway, happy birthday to me

A lot of you guys are confusing the national debt with the trade deficit. As for having to pay off the debt? Picture a school yard full of kids, most of the kids are 6, some are 7, some are 8, a few are 9 and then there is a really rich kid who's 17. This kid borrowed some money from a lot of the 9 year olds and some of the younger kids as well. If you lent him a dollar what would you do? You can remind him, but why bother? -You're getting intrest on your loan. -He's rich, you know he can pay you back...eventually -And he's three times your size... and he has some big friends. You cant fight the US (literally), and there's no point in making threats to it since the US knows you can't back them up (you wont risk open war)

They are pretty sweet. Would I buy one? No; nevertheless they are pretty sweet

I would have to say Baldur's Gate is better but then again it's personal opinion as both games have universal acclaim. It boils down to style and for me the classic D&D theme wins it over Final Fantasy any day. FF is not the only king. I know many people dont like the FF series, but time and time again people have voted it "the best". Thats what I was getting at.
-
Some people like action games, some like puzzle games, and some like RPGs. When it comes to RPGs Final Fantasy is king. Consider it the "Halo" for RPGers. Any questions?

I'm sure that post isnt all true but parts of it are and thats a fact. Personally I find it kinda funny that the article mentions "playing dumb and not standing out is an excellant strategy for E3" and the post fails to notice what Nintendo did at E3--they didn't really give much away :/ I admit it, I favor Nintendo over Sony and I used to hate xbox as well. However I find myself standing behind Xbox more and more as of late. I guess its because its an American company and the better MS does, the better our economy does

Its not as good as it sounds. You have no idea how cumbersome it is. I own one of these, its a PDA with a touch screen, keyboard and Wi-Fi. When I first got it I imagined myself playing RS in my bed, checking my email outside, and all that other fun stuff. Truth is, just checking my email is annoyingly hard to do. The PSP has Wi-Fi, but no keyboard and no mouse/touch screen. Personally, I would have to think just the lack of a mouse/touchscreen would make it insanly more cumbersome, and then the PSP also lacks a keyboard  Bottom line: its a cool additional feature but dont go and buy this thing with the intent that you can go on the internet all the time and use it just fine. I mean, were talking at least 15x as slow and difficult then simply walking over to your PC :?

I beg to differ. I'm sure the security around them was minimal and heck it is over 2 million dollars. Not to mention everyone wants one so selling them is alot easier then, say, trying to sell 2.6 million dollars worth of engine parts

What file size limit? 2 Gigs is the limit... I intend to use it to store Microsoft Word files, jpegs, and a few MP3s that I want to transfer to another computer.
-
Good point Hannibal. According to the website over 500,000 people have downloaded it and so far Gmail doesn't seem to care :? As for me I will cotinue to use the program until Gmail makes it pubic and/or warns people not to use it

Surely Google would object to such usage of the space? Not that I don't like the idea... I just want to keep my GMail account around, not lose it because I bended the rules a bit ;) Technically its your space to use. I mean, would they get mad if you recieved 100mb of emails everyday to? Also, two things: - Make a new Gmail account to store stuff on, otherwise your inbox might get cluttered - I'm not sure of the practically of storing gigs of files on Gmail, I intend to use it to replace my floppy drive, just use it to transfer documents to other computers that you use.

Well, obviousl it depends on the connection you have, but I did a test using my cable... I downloaded the google toolbar (536kb) in 13.4 seconds I uploaded that same file it to gmail in 25.4 seconds So its a notch quicker then twice as slow as downloading. Keep in mind though that that download speed is quicker then usual seeing as though it was from google.com, the faster servers I know. In reality uploaded to gmail is probably just as fast as downloading from some 3rd party sites or Kazaa.

With over 2 gigs of free memory don't you wish you could store some of your files on Gmail's servers? Sure you can email yourself attachments, but thats lame. ;) Check this out - >http://www.viksoe.dk/code/gmail.htm Check it out, drag and drop storage to any Gmail account from any computer. It = awesome :) Comments?
