i like that style very nice, and the cropping is good. i do agree with auldron tho, bring the boarder to the top layer. the colours go well, a thought tho, is you duplicate the layer with the symbol on it then sepia it, then reduce the opacity, it will flow better with the sig and not stand out as much looking odd =) not too sure what to think about that large black area above the right hand guys head, too much contrast, maybe lower the contrast? im not sure tho, your choice. try to avoid 'perfection' by this i mean, no long stright lines (always a bend/curve somewhere on it) no circles (its not the normal shape for a head...) whith the second version the sword looks rather messed up, im guessing you tryd to tilt it using paints crappy effects, it looks bad, either re do it, or keep the position of the previous one. i was wondering about that blue outline of the shield, to make it look better make the outline thinker, its not 1px wide in the game! also revove that bottom curve on the shield, that was to emphasize the thickness of it (granite in original) the spell shading looks good, very similar to my original, lol, but it looks good so thats all that matters. i like the stars but add more depth to the sky (more shades will do it) but dont gradiate it, make the whispy shapes, if ya get me, probably not... and ofcorse feel free to edit the linework to suit your idea for it better =) oh and its PJB21 not Pjb21 =P PJB21

i like the last two theyre both cool. =) one thing tho, on that peniltimate one, i personaly dont feel that that splodge of colour in the bottom left corner fits there. lower the stat of the render i say. that final one, can you link the render please? looks good, probably me seing things, but can i see, meh, i see lots of things, just the brushes used i expect. it look good tho, cos its not just about the render, its toone side with your work in the middle, theres alot to be said about that. newest one, and your moving the renders aside to display your work, blod and confident, probably sub-contious, but meh.
