High-alch em! :D

I tend to talk to myself. Once I realize that's awkward, I talk to myself questioning why I'm talking to myself, and then I just shut up. I sing alone, I play guitar alone, but I do those things in front of people. I practice alone. =P That works. Ummm, other than that, nothing special. I play RS. :D I don't like playing games when there are other people around. I feel like I'm ignorning them, because I probably am. =P

Okay, so I'm pretty much apathetic when it comes to bigfoot, but I read something on some blog that linked to some newspaper yada yada, you know how that goes. Anyways, apparently someone's captured a real live, well actually dead, bigfoot. It's going to be DNA tested and such, and will be done Friday. At the end of this I'll post the link so that you guys can read it and watch the youtube videos too. I'm interested to see how all of this data will turn up. What do the rest of you guys think that it is? Ardougne. It's just so fun to say. :D I don't know... ever since i got members I was mystified with Ardougne and leveling thieving. =P

Remember remember the tenth of December Wilderness, treason and plot. I see no reason why wilderness, treason Should ever be forgot... >_> That's all I could think of. But yeah, I hope there's not rioting. =/ If done for the right reason it's a good thing. This is not the right reason. This would more than likely be immature.

I wouldn't put it past the game designers to put some kind of a boolean on there that says "If the player gets one of these drops: a, b, c (where a, b, and c are all rare) turn getting any rare items from this monster (or maybe all monsters) off for a bit." But I could very well be wrong. =)

I don't see anything in there about it being for kids. Honestly, I wouldn't mind being in a world where the censors were turned off. I'd rather not have to write a sentence that winds up being "I'm ****** *** ** ****** with fish in **** *** ****." That's why I hate the censor. :D But honestly, I don't want to be in a world where there would be a bunch of people feeling like they could swear all the time and so that's what they do. And there would be people that did that. Plenty of them. And I don't want that either. So I'll stick with mixed messages about fish. :) edit: As far as maturity means you can swear, I think there becomes a line where you quickly become less mature after swearing more. I'd like to think that I'm somewhat mature (I may not seem like it always, but I'd like to think it), and I definitely don't spend all my day swearing. There are plenty of ways to get your message across without swearing. =)

The Wise Old Man is one of my favorite NPCs :D. We can't have him arrested, that would make me cry. But there's also some books that you can get at the end of the Swan Song quest (check the notes section of the guide) if you're interested in reading about him.

On that note.. wearing boots of lightness/spottier cape to get a negative weight should create a force lifting you into the air :lol: Nope, the weight displayed does not count for your character's weight, just your equipment. That's why if you don't wear any equipment, it states 0kg. However, if we get more anti-gravity items, we should be able to lift into the air. Lol, that would be interesting. However, if the average weight is about 68 kg (150 lbs, taken from getting an average height and looking in the middle of the "normal range" for BMI), then we'd need a lot more items. =P

I'm considering selling all my swordfish because I've got plenty of monkfish. That will probably help some. GE says it will make about 200k. So that will be a good start, and then I'm gonna see how much Yew sells for. That'll probably help some too. =) I'm also working on getting 65 fletching to alch yew bows. That will help fletching, magic, woodcutting, and money. I like that option. =P I also like the idea of getting 750k to do Manage Thy Kingdom ... I like being lazy. or rather... being able to do other things besides RS. :D

With the increase in skills that seem to require money to fuel their leveling, such as construction and summoning, it looks like I need to find a steady source of income so that I can continue to make money. I always thought 100k was a lot of money before, and it was all I had in my bank maximum. Most times I had less than that. =P :roll: Apparently I was wrong to think that was a lot of money :D. Anyways, it would appear that I need a good source of income. More than like what that means is that I'm going to have to raise up some of my skills. Anyways, I'll post all of my skills up here for you all to giggle at and then to maybe give some helpful advice on how to actually earn some money. =) Thieving - 68 Attack, Defense, Strength, HP - 67 Magic - 66 Cooking 65 Mining, Fishing, Woodcutting - 63 Crafting, Fletching - 57 Agility - 56 Smithing - 54 Firemaking 51 Prayer - 47 Range, Herblore - 45 Runecrafting - 42 Slayer - 40 Farming 37 --- (and now for the worst of it :D) Construction - 17 Summoning - 14 Hunter - 11 So in all that jumbled pile of terrible skills levels, is there anything anyone could make out on how to get more money so I can raise some of those skills? =) Please, don't give answers, like get smithing to 99 to make rune plates. Yes. I realize that's a way to make money. But I also realize the time frame it would take for me to get that. =/ Something actually doable at my level or maybe 8-10 levels more please?

RuneScape has taught me: Some people are complete brats. I'm not patient enough for real skills in cooking :D.

I believe Jagex is smart enough to realize where to draw the line. At some point you have to realize there's only so much you can do. What that means is that you have you give up fighting RWT at some point until there's another new idea that doesn't ruin everyone's gaming experience. You just have to let them do what they're going to do. Realize that it's their money that they're spending. I know it's wrong and I know it's against the rules, but at some point we're just going to have to get over it. I think my only complaint about this update is that it was the update. As in... the only one. As in, I wanted something better. But that's just me being selfish. So I'm happy with what they gave =).

While I will agree that the trade limit does, indeed, make trading a little difficult at times and cause problems occasionally, I have to admit that I see Jagex's side of it very well. I agree with them that this needs to stay the way that it is. And, as an added bonus, I don't have people asking me for full rune anymore :D.

I completely agree. I've been gone for a while but I looked through some of the rants in this forum... mostly to see if my rant was placed at all recently, don't want to rant about something someone's done recently... I'd just reply. Seriously guys, the goal of the ranting forum is to rant, not to have someone tell you that you're a baby just because you don't like what's going on in RS. There are always things that we don't like, and sometimes complaining about them for a little while is the best way to get it out of our systems. If you're going to use what doomsavenger's labeled "Universal Arguments," then you're pretty much the immature one here. The ranter uses the forum for what it was meant to be used for and he or she doesn't need to be flamed because of it. =) Thanks

People used to ask me, that, so yeah. It's not like I can make it =/ I'd have to buy a whole different set. Actually, I lent a guy full rune once, and he stopped playing for a while, and so did I. He came back a little while after I did, and he couldn't give it back because of the new trading system. Go figure.

Ha, so I came back after about a year's leave [again] approximately a month ago, and my first thought was, "Well, hey! I know they've got construction, why don't I just give that a go?" The whole problem to me is that it seems to be basically a scam to spend a lot of money. With any other skill, excluding summoning, because I'm noticing more and more that it has the same problem with spirit shards, you can be pretty much self-sufficient if you're willing to work long enough. You've got what I would consider to be your "base skills" that you can use to level up your other skills, e.g. Woodcutting for Firemaking or Fletching. Construction doesn't seem to have any of this. In fact, what seems to be required is an endless supply of cash. All I'm saying is, if we could just get the ability to make our own cloth bolts and make our own of the different kinds of planks... things like that, (introduce a quest where we can learn how to do it, I don't honestly care how it's introduced), it would greatly reduce the cost, in my opinion, and make it a skill that, at least to me, would be much more enjoyable. I don't honestly care that I have to pay for a new room every time it's built, I'll understand that one, but I would like to see construction come to a point where it could be much more self-sufficient instead of having to buy everything to get it to work.
