Tell me how it is. I automatically tend to steer clear of covers like Darren Shan's ones, you know, with sparkly glitterly eye catching designs. Aswell as the ones that have raised covers or transparent covers. Yuuuch. People say you cant judge a book by it's cover, but you can and it's very easy to. I think they really ought to change it to "you shouldn't judge a book by it's cover". Because, quite often, I agree with you. But I won't get to the Darren Shan books until at least Christmas, probably into the new year.
  2. Yeah, if they really wanted the best, they would have had a panel of 'experts'.
  3. Thirteen Worlds does sound better than Stellar Dawn... I'd be happy to see the game called that.

The hell? I just had a nose bleed too. Was it dripping like three drops of blood a second? Just be glad you've never gotten one in the shower. I didn't notice until I look down and saw the blood all over me. Needless to say, it wasn't pleasant. I've had several in the shower. I always have to get someone to grab me some tissues as well, it's irritating. It's my birthday today. I'm tired. I got a lot of food as presents. I used to get them on occasion, often in the shower. It's annoying, but luckily it hasn't happened in a long time. And happy birthday.

^That's common knowledge around here. Today I watched tv, played on the computer and walked to the corner store. I really do have an exciting life.
  6. 2/10- really only see you in forum games...
  7. Wow, the Jazz (my friend's favourite team, I don't really like them) just blew an 11+ point lead (77-66 when I started watching) to lose 96-85... And that was all in less than 7 minutes. Outscored 30-8... How is that even possible?
  8. 6/10- nice picture and all, but not something I particularly like.

I have finally decided to read the Darren Shan saga, since the storyline in the movie was pretty good. If not for the movie, they would probably have gone unnoticed by me. Now I just have to get my hands on a copy of the first few, and finish the books I have in my to-read pile.
  10. Other than the current week's games, nothing comes to mind. But I can just check the internet to find out, anyway.
  11. My friend had a demo disk for PS1, but I can't remember any of the games on it. That was the only disk we ever used.
  12. You are still 3 levels away, however you should be added to the "future reference" list.
  13. Perhaps RuneScape isn't better than those games on Xbox and PS3, though I'm wondering why Blizzard didn't win the award, since both are on comparable terms. Having Jagex win the award gives me the satisfaction that I'm paying less for a better game. Thing is, everytime you go to play RS you read the homepage for updates, so everyone could easily see Jagex asking for votes. I'm not very experienced with WoW, but I think there is no such system in there. If anything, they would do an announcement in game or something, but that would mean players would have to alt-tab, and most people are far too lazy to alt-tab in the middle of their game. Blizzard also wasn't eligible for the award because they are an American developer, and this was a UK contest.
  14. Yeah, bankspace is manageable. If they do something big to help mage, giving us several new items, then we may need it.

They also played a game like it in Dumb and Dumberer. Today I get to relax. Until my sister is done school, anyway. At that point, I might have to do some things I would rather avoid. Such as leave my current chair.

That actually made me laugh... I have no idea why it did so, though. I am done working for 2009. Now I can let my cyst disappear, my legs rest up and get ready for the new year.

I prefer to use cash, but I usually forget to go to the bank to get more, so I use my card a lot. I used to do that a lot, but now I try to avoid it. Although if I have a day shift on a Monday I attempt it. My sister always ruins it by waking me up early on Sunday, though.
  18. I definitely agree with you, there. Except that I don't believe F2P runs a loss. I figure we earn just more than we cost. But it is all assumptions. I also believe F2P will get SOMETHING to show their skills, although I doubt it will be much.
  19. They do deserve to get updates, they are the ones who help pay for the member's benifits even if they dont realize it. So if there were no ads it may have taken a few more years for all of the new quests, monsters, areas, and other fun things. So... :shame: This shows how clueless some kids can be...Ads represents 7% of all revenues from Jagex. Assuming the F2P/P2P ratio is 2 to 1, every F2Per contributes 1/26th of what a P2Per contributes. What is commonly accepted, is that ads roughly covers the costs of maintenance and running the free game. By the way, this is also assuming all P2Per never view any ads (homepage and diffent sections of the RS webpage). Personally, I would say the ratio is higher. But the simple fact is, we don't know how much they spend in all of F2P upkeep/update, so F2P could very well be adding to the P2P game's finances. And without F2P, there likely wouldn't be ads, since that is supposed to be a benefit of P2P, so we could argue that all ad revenue is due to F2P's continued existence.

I've never encountered that problem... Although only a couple of my haircuts have ever been paid for. Today is my only day of work this week, and might be my last one of 2009. Hello unemployment.
  21. May I ask, where? At the guildsmaster? Yeah, in the Champ's Guild.
  22. How was the vampire's assistant? I love the Cirque de Freak book series, when I heard the film however, I am worried is going to be like a teen drama but with VAMPIRES in it or something like that. Is it worth watching? Did they change alot of plot? In other news, I just finished watching where the wild things are, with my six year old brother. I thought it was kiddish, but then again I am probably not the target audience for this film. I haven't read the books yet, so I have no idea if much was changed, but I would suggest seeing the film for yourself. I liked it, but having not read the books, I had no idea of what it would be and therefore had no bias when it came time for an opinion. And as Where the Wild Things Are is based on a children's book, I believe it makes sense for it to be "kiddish".

Having Jagex win the award gives me the satisfaction that I'm paying less for a better game. Blizzard may have won it, if it wasn't limited to the UK. Blizzard is American.

That's can not be healthy. To be fair, my 2 sisters were sneaking some behind my back, though one will never admit it. The other is proud to admit it. That sucks. I haven't been sick since I got out of school (3+ years, now), minus a cold or two.
  25. I don't often eat at Wendy's so I have yet to dip a fry in a frosty, but I would if I ever got fries and a frosty at the same time.
