^ I been out for 2 years and don't miss it yet. Today, I got up at around 2pm, then my mom and I went to the town where I grew up. We drove around for a bit, then went to the restaurant where we used to eat every Thursday night. After eating and chatting with the owners, we came back home and I've been online since.
  2. I actually sold a few of my less useful items recently, and now have room to store almost everything I own (all but gloves and ring, I think). And don't get me wrong, I wouldn't say no to more bank space if they offered it, but our current amount is "manageable". I'll soon be completing both of my incomplete sets, as well. And rune longsword is my most used weapon, too, although I also keep a battleaxe and silverlight. The battleaxe has just seen too much to get rid of. And no need to be sorry, I probably wasn't being perfectly clear the first time around.
  3. Actually, Runescape was originally made not to make money, but just to provide a hangout spot online. They only decided to make it profitable when it started growing a lot. I'm not saying P2P don't deserve more, I was just pointing that out. And I think the ads also pay per view, not just per click. But I don't know that one for sure. As for the topic, I cannot say I'm directly affected, but maybe they will add some back if the popularity grows? Skilling doesn't mean having an account that does purely non-combat. Skilling just means raising your skills, whether you do combat or not. I am a skiller, even though I have 116 combat (F2P). Why? Because I raise my skills.

Hot Chicken sandwiches... Those are my favourites, but nuggets, strips and burgers are all good, too... Not to mention just plain roast chicken.
  5. I live in a basement... And what's wrong with Cheetos!? Seriously, though... I would definitely not sell my account. Or so I would like to say, but being human, money can probably sway that opinion. I don't know my price, but I'm sure I have one, unfortunately.
  6. The bank space I would definitely support. More generally, I have to wonder why Jagex honestly needs such a restriction at all. I mean, I can see maybe people hoarding to much and bogging down the server, but maybe you could introduce a system that gives bank space for experience? so players with a large amount of playing time and investment in their skills, who naturally require more bank space could have it, instead of having to organize, constantly manage, or periodically sell the contents of one's bank. Though I never had bank space problems (working on one skill a a time leaves me with 10+ free spots) I do like the idea of getting a bit more bank space based on experience. Yeah, I have 10 spots right now, working on mining/smithing, so I don't have current issues with bank sizes... But as long as the new spaces are earned some way, I would be okay with it.
  7. Yay! My chances just went up. 1 down, 249 to go... But seriously, good luck in your new venture!
  8. It was often still dark at our 8 o'clock starts...
  9. To me, that is a very bad reason. In fact, even though I stopped wearing them before I stopped riding a bike, I never even thought about what they looked like. The reason I stopped wearing one is because in 15 years I had fallen twice, both times my head came nowhere near the ground. And about a year after I stopped wearing a helmet, biking became too painful to bother with, so I stopped that too.

All these people typing about exams, and I'm on my easiest week yet. I don't work this week, but not by my choice. Yay for being a seasonal employee in a time of recession. So my time is used up by a combination of internet, Wii, PS2, eating and showering. Of course, I also went to Walmart a time or two. Today, I will likely just be on the internet for most of the day, take the dog out when she looks like she needs it. But unless I get an unexpected visit from a friend (most of whom I haven't seen in years), it will be another lazy, do-nothing day.
  11. This is how it was when I started school, but before I finished they changed it so that late assignments couldn't be docked marks. I still don't understand how that helps a person. Makes them lazier, maybe, but help them?

I know exactly what you mean. This happened to me a few years back. She left for university, and I stayed in the same area. We're now a very long drive apart, and have only internet to keep in touch. I haven't seen her in person in 3 years, nor heard her voice in the same.
  13. I never bike anymore, but once I hit around 16 I stopped wearing a helmet. They never helped me, anyway, since my balance on a bike had been perfect, even when making sharp turns. Nowadays, it kind of hurts to bike, so I don't bother. I don't even own a bike now, since I donated it to my uncle's yard sale. I think a young Mexican kid has it now.
  14. Angels & Demons- It wasn't a bad movie. I probably wouldn't read the book, but I would definitely watch the movie again. Obsessed- Definitely the best of the three I saw this weekend. The International- The worst of the 3, but not overall bad. I would probably watch it again, but not buy it.

That sounds a lot like me, except liking metal. I don't really like it.
  16. I posted once before, but wasn't added for whatever reason... Dougymc:F2P Total level is 1242.
  17. Contradict? No. I said I could store it by getting rid of some of my useless stuff or even by completing my sets. And I would if I used it more often. And I make amulets when I have gems, but usually only when I get to 1k or more. Oh, and I keep the tiara mould, not the amulet one. I make tiaras on occasion, since I get silver when I mine in certain spots. As for completing my sets, I can't right now. I'm poorer than most would believe. And I don't fight Demons often, but I like the way Silverlight looks. If I badly need the bank space, I will drop it.

You should've been here. It didn't start heating up till about may 5th. Same here this year, but generally speaking, December to January have been coldest overall.
  19. When I was in school, the times were these: Elementary: 9:05-3:20 Secondary: 8:05-2:20 I think they changed them the year after I finished, though.

Work. Work. Yep, you guessed it... I'll be working all summer most likely. I get the coldest days off. December to January, about 5 weeks of it. Such is the beauty of the ice cream business.
  21. Sometimes I wish schools were more like a work situation... "What's that, bashed a co-worker? You're fired!" "What's that, bashed a fellow student? You're expelled!" No need for suspentions/detentions. Make them more accountable for their actions too. A lot of workplaces will give suspensions for first offences, although anything after usually ends in a firing. And second chances should only be handed to those who actually deserve them. If you miss the assignment due to illness or family emergency, for example, second chances should be granted. However, laziness and cheating should not be rewarded.
  22. Do you or don't you tell people openly about playing Rs? If they ask, I won't lie. When talking to another RS player in real life, do you keep quiet? I have only ever known one other and we generally didn't talk about it, although people knew we played. Would you even admit to one that you are playing Runescape? I would tell anybody I do, even if they don't. I don't care who knows. Would you play in public places? If I ever used public computers, yes. I played in a library once, with several people around me.
  23. The only one I couldn't store is an amulet mould, and that is because I don't have full sets of range/mage gear. If I completed my sets instead of using pieces from a couple of different ones, I could. Or even just by dropping Silverlight.
  24. I never sell the main tools I use the most. I have a chisel and a hammer banked at all times unless I am using them. I only use moulds once, maybe twice a year, except the tiara one, which I keep. I don't plan to fish for a while, so I dropped the lobster pot, so I'll have to buy that back once I change my mind there. The only reason I don't have an axe is because I hadn't touched it in several months, with no intention to do so in the next several. I have my reasons for that one. And tinderboxes I have gotten for free in the Wise Old Man's house since he was added. But because I have 3 spaces left, even though currently skilling, I could keep those 3 tools.
  25. I would like this, although I would just use the extra piece of food to almost get killed a couple of minutes later.
