  1. I suggest you use Search but if you really want to know, runecrafting natures with the abyss is BY FAR the best way of making money, excluding things that you have to get lucky for, like barrows or KQ, or staking, and merchanting.
  2. either he made a mistake, or there is a very serious bug going on. imagine that being abused, not with a set of mith armour, but with a dragon chainmail or something. people will be very angry....
  3. I was Abyss Runecrafting natures, and I saw a pesky Abyss PKer there. I was bored, and just wanted to annoy him, so I clicked follow, and said: "Catch me if you can..." he entangled, I mis-clicked ectophial and clicked "fill small pouch" instead. I quickly tried to click my ectophial again. "a teleblock spell has been cast on you!". uh oh.... "this can't be good" I think. Not wanting to spend two hours getting my pouches back, I panick. The PKer is hitting badly "all hail dragonhide" I think. Instead of being smart, and running to the zammy mage to teleport me, (that spell isn't affected by teleblock) I run south. he fails his second entangle, and manages to entangle me at level 2 wilderniss. he hits me quite good this time.... entangle wears off while im on 3 hp. he keeps on attacking while I run south..... "splash". finally..... IM OUT OF THE WILDERNISS!!!! YAY! "boom" A red 3 covers my character. My smile fades..... Oh dear, you are dead!
  4. unless there is a bug, mages that attack skulled people still get skulled. either you made a small mistake, or jagex made a VERY BIG mistake
  5. More people should read that... yes, but those are the rules for the official forums. Jagex added those because they don't want hundreds of Miniclippers suggesting the "0magawd dr4gon st1nger m1ss1l3 l4unch3rs!!!!" Tip.it doesn't have to follow Jagex' forum rules. and since the regular posters of Tip.it have an averagely higher IQ, and maturity level then the official forums, we don't need those rules, and since suggestions of those things that are forbidden on the official forums can also be quite good, and entertaining to read, it is allowed here.
  6. lowelife0, i like your idea very much, but the hardness of the monsters should be based on your own combat level, so everybody will be able to beat it. It wouldn't be really fair if people couldn't do the holiday stuff just because they don't train combat
  7. If i'd just have a microphone on my pc, i could record it, post it and make a competition for other people to post theirs  , "anyone that says Scheveningen correctly wins a 50K prize (no Dutchies allowed or I'm bankrupt)"
  8. I can guarantee you'd chuckle more if you knew how it's pronounced. It's hard to phonetically do the sound but it's a sort of growl from the back of your throat to get the "ch" sound. Like gargling water but not as harsh. yeah, that is how we pronounce the "g" and the "ch" in Holland too.... hehe, there ain't a single American, or British fellow who can pronounce Scheveningen (= a Dutch town) correctly 8) Not a SINGLE one? Is the 'g' pronounced similarly to the French 'r'? If so, I can pronounce it. well, every time I ask an Brittish or American guy to try and say it I get very comical results (I've asked quite a few :P ). It's just pronounced in a way you won't find in most other languages .... It's a bit like the French "r", but much harsher. like Rhys said, a bit like gargling water.

  10. well, I was standing on the second floor (third floor in America) of my school, at the stairs talking to a few friends of mine. and ALL the way downstairs at the entrance I saw the unmistakeble bold spot on top of the head of the most loathed teacher in the school (Note: this teacher is a woman  ) talking to another teacher. I had a bottle of Coca-Cola in my hand, half-full. well, what would you do? I gave my friends a huge wink, and carefully took aim over the fence parting the stairs from a 6 meter drop downstairs, and let a HUGE splash of coke exit the bottle, and fall down....... right before it hit my lovely teachers head, we all pulled our heads back so she wouldn't see us if she'd look up. we heard a deafening yell. she was FURIOUS. We went to the library and stayed there for a minute or 10 till the break was over, pretending to be studying, all barely managing not to burst out laughing. We never got caught.... We had so much fun the rest of the day. School has never been that funny.
  11. I think that would be cool, but the thing shouldn't weigh 23 kilograms.... that's way too much. I'd say about 7-8 kilograms. I also think, that if you would have to manually reload everytime this weapon would NOT be a popular one. it should work like a staff in my opinion, and the "cast spell" option would be replaced with a "fire weapon" option. you could attach bronze to rune Bayonets to it, which would have the power of a spear of the same metal, but can't be poisoned. you would ONLY be able to fire if you have bullets equipped in the arrow slot, and all those items in your inventory. after each shot, the thing should automatically pop to melee attacks with the bayonet, and you'd reload with a button in the corner of the attack style menu. this should take EXTREMELY long, as you said. your ranged level would, with this weapon, only determine the accuracy, and the reload time, NOT the damage. After each shot, you will be stunned for 3 seconds, unable to move/eat/attack/etc. It should require lvl 70 or lvl 80 ranged, and it should be the reward for a REALLY hard and long quest (perhaps eastern lands, like where the guy in port phasmatys is from, they did invent gunpowder in Asia). A quest that requires HIGH defence. we do not want lvl 40 pures to walk around with this baby. It should be unaccurate, but EXTREMELY deadly. in my opinion, runescape misses the "high-risk-but-very-deadly-when-used-correctly-weapon" i'd say it's max hit should be around 70 or something. you would have a better chance hitting something if you were shooting at a large monster, or a large group of people/monsters. As you said, this weapon should be best used when shot in a big salvo by a group of people. if Jagex would do there best when implementing this, they could make the coolest weapon ever, if they screw up, we have another nice completely useless ranged weapon.
  12. I just read a thing wrong and thought it was wrong. Tried to be nice and correct it. Paw_Claw made it clear that it was my mistake. Then you come, tell me I'm stupid and accuse me of flaming. The way I see it, is that you're stupid yourself and you're the one flaming here. well, you did sound a bit... well.... flamy for no reason. I clicked this topic before Paw_Claw even posted, and before you edited it. I was just a bit slow with posting, because i was reading another topic while this was already open. I'm sorry I went a little too far with my earlier post though.
  13. DEFINATLY runecrafting. 104 nats per run via abyss FTW. 1.2M per hour, here i come!!!!
  14. But Mr. Stupid, unfortunatly, he wasnt talking about Demon Slayer, but the SEQUEL quest of demon slayer. If your gonna correct someone combined with flaming, atleast correct him correctly.
  15. why do people quote someone, then add nothing to it and just post? I dont understand that. or is it just for: "phr33 postcount pl0x?" and Dude, I hate people like you. If YOU would lag, and lose a million and a half of stuff, would you like it if nobody even tried to give it back to you? No, you wouldn't...... hurting people over a bunch of pixels is just plain sad.....
  16. May i say this was a pointless post? He didn't ask for 'M00R3 ST0000fS', he asked for an update in the fighting system. It is nessecary, because PK-ing takes no melee anymore, it's all about magic and binding. Not to mention that having a team makes you a good pker, even if your stats suck. I'm pro the 'bringing back the 3hit rule', because you'll know then what pking is, and teleporting/praying wouldn't be a problem anymore then. did you take a look at this? thats what he asked for. and, as I said in my first post, anyone who likes RSC better than RS2 can still play it, provided they played RSC in the past six months. (which you would have if you liked it better) I think it's good there's no 3 round rule anymore, this way, people with normal accounts can still PK in the wilderniss, where in RSC they would get a huge kick to lumby by the 10 000 pures there. In my opinion, you should be able to enjoy the WHOLE game with one account. with the 3 round rule that wont be possible, because it will all be about 3 hitting your opponent with a 40 att 99 str 1 def account.
  17. in other words "F2P N33D M00R3 ST000000FS!!!!!!!" no thank you. people that have played RSC in the past 6 months can still play it, can't they? anyone who liked playing it can still do that. jagex doesnt need to compensate for ANYTHING. no, not to the free players either. they get the game for free, and, in my opinion, you have no right to comlain about anything you get for free. about the new kingdoms (or "kindoms" as you call em), WHAT DO YOU THINK JAGEX IS DOING ALL THE TIME?!?!?! jagex is CONSTANTLY adding new quests and kingdoms.... jeez...
  18. People will still want to go to fansites if there stuck in a quest. The fansites have WAY better quest guides that take you through every step of the quest, where Jagex' quest guides just say what the quest is about, and where to start it.
  19. if you think THAT is bad then try speaking in a different language. example: I'm happily chatting in Dutch with my real-life friend, and i try to say "me too" in dutch (thats "ik ook") and it's censored. Very often a whole sentence i try to say is blocked. yet, the fowlest words I've ever seen in my language can be happily said. I've seen quite a lot of people saying stuff about jewish people and the events of WWII in a rather nasty way.
  20. moopy, this is another "we rangers want to be the best combat style again, now that its all balanced we dont own everyone anymore, boo hoo. we dont care that we are the cheapest form of combat, we want to be the best combat form too!!!!!" topic. from time to time they pop up. we'll just have to ignore em
  21. lol, he got owned by the falador update. poor guy..... someone send in a bug report please?
  22. depends, if i can really get my lazy behind working ill make 1.5 - 2 mill in a day runecrafting nats, but usually i make about 300k per day and then do the fun stuff.
  23. because...... the (melee) barrows brothers all have very high melee and range defence, and negative magic defence. even with full rune on you'll hit 9 out of 10 magic attacks. and you REALLY need a decent melee defence against them (except if you pray non-stop, and then you'll be losing more money to prayer pots then you'll gain from drops) kkthnxbye
  24. how funny it may be, scamming a scammer is still scamming. lots of people will admit to scamming in this topic, so it isnt really a smart idea. not that i wouldnt laugh my backside off at a good scam the scammer story......
