  1. Root, rowte.. potato, potahto. Same thing. :?
  2. I'd love to see Jagex go back to the original Runescape!
  3. Looks fine, but I think he needs to change the text. Shorten it so it matches the length of the banner at the top :)
  4. Well I'm in the middle between the moderates and communists.. I'm a socialist :) It's more of Lenin than Marx; Marx is too radical for me.
  5. The fix has been out for at least a week now. :)
  6. Chuck Norris can unscramble an egg.
  7. Then why didn't you just use pansy instead of liberal pansy? Your wording made it seem like a generalization, You can have a person who's not willing to fight-- AND with a political ideology on the opposite side of the spectrum. Political affiliation, IMO, has nothing to do with the will to fight. And yelling at me will not help you get your point across. Yes, America used the first nuclear weapon. It did save American lives, but it ENDED many more Japanese lives (100,000+ people [mostly civilians] were killed; there's no definite number, since it's still being debated). Are American lives worth more than Japanese lives? And are soldiers' lives more important than civilians'? I don't see any point in which Hohto said "why doesn't America care about Europe?" Your arguments lack any backing-- most of your response seems to be flames, like "to the idiot above weez". Do it again and see what happens. You're not going to see a response from me until I get up in the morning.
  8. lol. I'm sure I know much more about US History than you do. I never said the colonists questioned the wars Britain was waging-- they actually supported most of the wars. We did not go to war with Britain because we were taxed; we did it because we were being taxed and not represented (just one of the few reasons). The British government made an "unjust" decision, and the colonists questioned it. Questioning the decisions of the government isn't questioning authority? If not, then I don't see what is. This is what I was responding to when I mentioned the leftist revolutions: And you were saying? Same sex couples deserve the same rights as "normal" couples. I know that some people will be opposed to the idea of gay marriages, but saying that "gays are not human" goes way overboard. You're attacking a group of people that does not need to be attacked. Mindless flaming is not allowed on these forums. Besides, how can you say that after you wrote:
  9. So I can't question authority if it's a war? That's not very American of you. I believe the Iraq war is unjust; I can't say "whoa, maybe the government is WRONG?" And if I do, I'd be a pansy? What's the logic in that? Questioning and resistance was a major concern to the founding fathers. Maybe YOU hate America for not liking opposition, because quite frankly, that's how balance is kept in the US and how the founding fathers wanted the country to be run. What about the Vietnam war? Were the protesters being unAmerican then? We faced heavy casualties, but no one had any idea why we were fighting the war (as stated in the Pentagon papers, even the generals had no idea). Lastly, what does being liberal have to do with fighting? Soldiers sacrificed their lives during the past wars, regardless of their political affiliations. Also, liberal, leftist revolutions (communist, socialist) would never succeed if the assumption that "a liberal and someone who is scared to fight for anything" is true. There have been many liberal revolutions that have succeeded. Next time, back up your arguments instead of blindly yelling insults at the other side.
  10. Boot up your computer with the Windows XP CD in your drive. It should let you reformat :) Or if you bought your computer from the store, the manufacturer may have given you a CD (Hewlett Packard, for instance) for recovery.
  11. 1. The country didn't elect the leader. 51% did. 2. I'd like you to explain the quote (quoted by rocketman089) also please.
  12. What are you majoring in weezcake? I might be interested in going into genetic engineering/biotechnology. Still very undecided. :? I'm majoring in biotechnology, though I'm not sure which field to enter. It'll probably be microbiotech, but animal biotech is also appealing. :)
  13. Scientists use the jellyfish "glow in the dark" protein (GFP) in experiments to distinguish cells. If they're working on a cure, for example, they may use GFP to check whether the new cells (with GFP) are more effective on fighting off the bacteria/virus than the regular cells. :) We'll just have to see where this pig thing goes. I'll be watching it since it relates to my major :)
  14. That looks great! I'll have to make one for myself someday. :)
  15. Removing RSC. It could happen, seeing that it's Jagex and all.
  16. I told her to scan with adaware and spybot (though I think she already did, but I'm not sure how long ago) and to update her windows. I told her to send me a new log after she does so. I'll post the new one here and have you guys look over it. Thanks! :)
  17. You'd all be dead within two hits (well maybe one, for you lower levels) from me if I could play my ARENAscape stats in RS. But as with Magey, I'm not a member.
  18. I was looking at the log last night and I saw this: O4 - Startup: Zeno.lnk = C:\WINDOWS\system32\pwinqsaw.e3e (CAUTION - executable file) O4 - Startup: Z_Start.lnk = C:\WINDOWS\system32\dwdsregt.e3e (CAUTION - executable file) Any suggestions on what to do with this log? :?
  19. Just had to post this. :P
  20. This is my friend's hijackthis log that she sent me. She said she was having some problems, and maybe someone could find something?
  21. Would anyone actually have enough data to put onto those discs? :?
  22. I don't see how this'll be enforced. I could easily type up a fake, threatening letter, address it to myself, and blame it on my neighbor. :?

I like the Ebaumsworld videos, but stealing is not cool. YTMND is a stupid, idiotic site. I don't understand it. :?
  24. I personally hate the army and the military, though they are necessary at times. I hate the fact that they are trained to destroy instead of build-- I am quite a pacifist, and war is not appealing to me. I also refuse to fight for America. At least in this ghastly state of things. I do not believe in this new big brother type of government that's being introduced into the US, which is supposed to be FREE. I will only pick up a gun and a uniform if it was a desperate situation-- but I will not fight for Dubya and his homies. And remember, "this is a rich man's war, but a poor man's fight". But I am realistic. Without an military, we could not live. Humans, as with any animals, cannot live without conflict. Without the threat of military strength, a state cannot stay sovereign. I am glad there are many people willing to enlist and risk their lives. Though I'd love to live in a military-free world, I support the troops-- always.
