Download HijackThis from this site: http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/downloads.html Save the program to a folder, run a scan, and post a log (there should be a save log option). It will help our techies here help you out. :)

I have a Dell Inspiron 700m, and I'm completely happy with it. I personally would not buy Dell PCs (they have them at school, and they're horrible). They look cheap and aren't exactly super computers. With laptops, however, I will go with Dell. :)

Just in case you don't believe Customer Support.. I started in February 2001. I remember no friends list (and not even Falador, I believe), so I'm sure it was newly released. There was one web server, and everytime you opened the game, you had to web-load the serve, which was a pain because everyone had 56k. I'm sure if I stuck with it I could be one of those level 120s but.. I found it a waste of time and quit :wink:

At school, I usually shut the light off when I leave my dorm room. Bathroom light is always on because I don't think most of the guys that I live with know where the light switch is lol (8 people share one bathroom on my floor). I try to save energy whenever I can, especially when I'll be the one paying the bills in the future! :P

I say do nothing, because he needs to learn his lesson NEVER TO GIVE HIS PASSWORD TO ANYONE. Once he learns that lesson, he'll never do it again (or at least I hope not). Besides, if a real life friend can't be trusted with a simple password, he isn't a true friend. My closest friends know my passwords (and yes, I can trust them, since I they've NEVER gone into my account without my permission in the last 6 years). That's a true friend for ya. =]

By "run cmd", he means click the Start button, click "run...", type in cmd, and press enter. Then type in whatever he instructed you to do. There's no need for rewards on this forum. Everyone's just happy to help.

I've seen ambulances at other buildings for alcohol poisoning. I've seen them at least threee times.. it's really sad what people do sometimes :x Maybe it's just the "drink for fun" and "drinking is cool" people that I don't really like.

Eh, I don't get it either. I'm one of the six non-drinkers on my floor (in my dorm), and we hang out with each other. I have more money (since I don't spend it on drinks, which are hugely expensive) and I never have a hangover the next morning. And of course, I never look like a stupid idiot :)

What kind of laptop do you have? If it's a dell, the Dell website has all the drivers for your laptop. You just have to specify which laptop it is, and it'll show all the latest drivers for your computer. :)

I really don't see why ugliness is a factor in this. I mean.. it's in your pocket most of the time. :? $250 = 8gig zen photo $250 = 4gig iPod nano My friend got her 5gb zen micro for $150 (after my recommendation, of course), and she loves it. Sounds great.. no difference from an iPod sound quality. The only difference is the price difference..

ID has no scientific backing at all. I don't understand why people even want it taught in a science class. :? There's just so much ignorance in the US these days.

My cousin and uncles (2) got iPods for Christmas. My cousin was loading songs onto it all day today. The iPod-wanting is at an all-time high, but I still don't understand why. It still confuses me why people give iPods for Christmas, especially when Zen Micro costs less and holds more music :? (6gb for $180) I guess their marketing is better.

Not exactly a war game: Perfect Dark Zero has co-op, but it's on xbox 360. Not sure if you meant the original xbox or the 360.

Some great gifts you got there. Lucky :wink: My parents haven't gotten me anything. But my parents are paying for my college ($6k/quarter), and I think that's a great present. :wink:

Used to play it a bunch a few years ago. It's a great game (and it's free), but as the others have said, it gets boring. Fun for a while though.
