I have 2 case fans (80mm) inside. I have a 60mm ( I think it's 60mm) fan on the processor heatsink. The thing is this is an emachines computer which has a realy small case and can not add anymore fans.

No, never been overclocked. I am trying underclock to see if it is something to do with the processor. Well I under clocked it by 100mhz making it 2.1ghz. I have not had a restart Since before this last night. Since it's been working since, do you think it's something wrong with the heatsink? If so I need some help, I'm not good with old hardware. I would like to get it back up to default without the restarts. This is getting wierd because 110* is in the range of the computer by far, but it's not stable at default speed, guessing by heat?

It's restarting. Nope, my house is around 70* durring the winter. I am going to try to underclock my processor to see if it is caused by overheating.

That is defently not to much memory. Remember, you can never have to much memory :wink: .I don't know how Call Of Duty2 even played before the memory upgrade with 128mb of RAM. I currently am playing Call of Duty2 with more than that. I have 1GB of ram. I have had no issues.

The only thing I have installed in a while is a usb 2.0 card in the computer, with the drivers.

No, it just restarts with no warning. I will try it with the power supply from my case. I have a 400w Antec in my case so if it still doesn't work it's sure as hell not the power supply.

It preforms a proper restart. no I do get that sometimes. I have not gotten that in a couple days. The others I get nothing just a restart and normal startup.

This is my family PC and it's getting quite diffecult to do anything at the moment. The computer is restarting itself randomly and often. I scanned with everything for spyware and viruses, hoping that would be it instaid of a worse problem. Found nothing. I think it might be overheating. SPECs Athlon XP 3200+ (2.2ghz) 512mb Windows xp I have used speedfan to detect the temps and are at 105(f) defrees normaly and about 110 on startup. Which I don't think is that hot. Please help me out. Gotten so bad the rest of my family is using my gaming computer and I don't like anybody touching that but me.

What slot type do you have? AGP or PCI express? What is your buget?

Wow :shock: . The first type of disk (300gb) is almost double my hard drive! I have read before that the disk can be written over after the data is there. I also heard that the disk is a couple inches think, can anybody confirm this?

Everything looks good. I would go with a monitor faster than 16ms refresh though. I would go with 8ms or lower. 16ms is still fine if it will put the computer over buget.

I love Mcaffee. I think it's better than Norton. I have tried reinstalling, restarting computer, and restarting just the Mcaffee. Nothing worked. Since it's been having my CPU at 100% it's making my case run about 7 degrees hotter too. Thats not a real problem because of the case I have has awsome cooling.

To get it for PSP you need 1.5 or 2.0 to use it. pspupdates.com is a good site to download it from and read up on homebrew. Don't use the illeagal homebrew though, such as ISO rips. Suppot the game company. ---------------------- I bought Doom 1 and 2 in a CD pack a couple years ago. Can I just use that to play all you guys or do I have to download a special doom1 game threw them?

512mb of RAM doesn't suck, it's average. I would recamend 2x 512mb sticks (pc3200) in dual channel.

The processor and RAM are execelent. More than half of LCD monitors have ghosting in gaming so that may be a problem. The onboard graphics card will hold you back alot in gaming. If thats the best you can get go into the bios and set the memory on the graphics to 128mb or as high as it goes. This will take away from RAM you can use to run applications.

I know what I'm doing :) . I have flashed other stuff before on different computers with floppy drives. I have read if you mess up you can just reflash back with your back up bios. So could I do this with a USB floppy drive also? If I can, someone I know is bound to have one.

Well been looking at this for a little while and am desiding to do it. If you don't know what I'm talking about, I'll tell you. The x850 pro has 12 pipelines with 4 locked. The step up model has all 16 unlocked. You can flash it to a XT and get the 4 extra pipes. So here is my problem. To flash it I need a floppy drive and a blank floppy. I don't have a floppy drive. Is there a way to flash the bios without going into DOS and flash it in Windows XP? I have the x850 XT bios already that are waiting to be flashed. I have read there is a fan problem after flashing it. If anyone knows where I can find bios of a x850 pro with the 16 pipes. I hope someone can understand that. Thanks for your help in advance.

I do believe in aliens. I believe that we could be more advanced than the aliens. They might not even be green like the movies :) . I do think if they are more advanced and come here they might not harm us but actually help us. Or the movies can be right and make life a living ****. If you watch some of thoughs alien shows and say we have been visited already. That might be true and the goverment is covering it up.

Wow thanks for the 3 post spam. Ever heard of the edit button? I hate reading posts in all caps. What the **** is that? Please explain. Getting a virus because you have virus scan doesn't mean anything about it. If you download something and install it, it's your fault. My specs have nothing to do with it. Like I said before it didn't happen always. ------- For the past week I have uninstalled all mcaffee and using free software till I know how to fix it.

Anybody ever try the handstand? I tried it a couple times fell pretty bad. Luckily i tried it on grass first and I luckily didn't try on pavement. The flatland tricks are always fun to do. If you can get them down and link them together they look awsome. Some of them ruin your board trying it though.

I was thinking he got ripped off but didn't want to say anything till someone more wiser posted. I would say the x700 is equall to about a 6200gt maybe a little better. I heard my x850 pro is equall to a 6800gt or 6800 unltra.
