  1. Yes, you have to set up a duel to get in there. First look *very* closely to tip.it's locator so you know where to dig. In the duelling, make sure to check "obstacles", and no staking. If possible, try and ask your opponent to let you dig up clue before start fighting - but not everyone will listen to that, they just attack right away while you are digging. Even better is to ask a friend to come duelling you, that way you know you will have time to dig up the chest. Then, once you found the chest, enjoy the duel :) When one of you die, you will both respawn with full health in the hospital outside the arena, no items lost.
  2. On the website to the left, choose "Appeal an Offence/Ban "
  3. the light blue *is* the turquoise. The darker blue is what Jagex call blue.
  4. You are at the wind mill between Ardounge and the fishing guild right? Unenchanted tiara is a tiara as it comes when using silver on furnance with tiara mold in inventory, a tiara that nothing has been done to after it was crafted. When I do that clue, I get one the easy way, I just go to a F2P world and buy in Fally general shop. Double check, blue top, ham bottoms and not otherwise around. Clue in your inventory? Sorry, that is all I can think of.
  5. They keep attacking you, has nothing to do with quests. Once you have been a while in the area, they stop just like all other aggressive NPC's
  6. Blue gnome boots are sold in the gnome clothes fashion shop in grand tree. Unblessed silver sickle is easiest to make yourself since I doubt you will find any sellers. Get a sickle mould in a crafting shop (in al kharid for example) and a silverbar, and use bar on furnance with mould in inventory. *eventually* you need to be a bit into quest nature spirit to do it, I am not sure on that.
  7. For meleeing them, look here: http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=522985 Melee is my choice of method. You need prayer and anti fire pots, that is what costs. Mage is *not* useless on them, it works well. Here its the runes and the antifire pots that costs. I know there are some good advice on how to do this somewhere, but dont have time to search for it atm. Try searching yourself :)
  8. The answer to this depends on your combat level in relation to your opponents, and what fighting style the opponent use. In most cases defender is best choice, since it increase your offensive bonuses and allows you to kill faster. If your opponent use range and does some damage on you, obby shield would be better since it has good range defence, but still give you some strenght bonus. If your opponent use melee and hurt you, you may want to use a normal shield for it's melee defence - or obby shield for its strenght bonus. In addition to that: if you fight and use protection prayers (no matter what protection prayers) Zammy book is best choice since it has offensive bonus and prayer bonus.
  9. Try this: http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=516151 it is a sticky on the help board, where questions belong.
  10. I disagree with this. I must admit I have not farmed the lower level allotment seeds for quite a while, but with sweetcorn, strawberries and watermelons (super compost and magic secateurs) it varies a LOT. For example I had some very good strawberriy yield this morning, 77 strawberries from 2 patches combined, I think that is something of a record for me. I also had some good and some bad watermelon harvests, and same for sweetcorn. Minimum 5 herbs (doesnt happen often), most of the time 6 or 7, sometimes more, sometimes very good. No difference if I grow torstol or toadflax. So yeah, it is random.
  11. Hey mate, where is this Ankous place? Could you please tell me a bit about that? Thanks mate! (Sorry to post question on your thread mate) Ankous are down in security stronghold, on the death level http://kbase.runescape.com/lang/en/aff/ ... le_id=2618 And yes, ankous have very nice drops including level 3 clues. (as for the original question, since I get bored easily and need variation, I personally prefer to do kill whatever the slayer master tell me to. That was perhaps not the fastest way to get my levels, but it was the most enjoyable for me)
  12. There are some clues on level 3 treasure trails located in Isafdar, yes so far it is true. But it is normal clue scrolls. So you can not just go there and dig, you must first have a clue that points you to the location - and you get that from monster drops. Take a look at tip.it's treasure trail guide: http://tip.it/runescape/?page=treasure_trails.htm
  13. I would say its a very very good spell, especially for someone who doesnt have full Guthan. With the spell, you can stay however long you want at any monster who drop normal bones. That is *very* useful when training slayer.
  14. It is the reward from quest Fairy tale part 1. Wield it when farming, and increase the yield from allotments and herb patches.
  15. To change clothes, there are 2 options. You can go to the clothes shop in Varrock, and pay to get it changed. Or if you are a member, you can also get it changed in a players owned house, if the player had a bedroom with a wardrobe - the higher level the items are, the more changes they provide.
  16. I agree with those who said do manage thy kingdom. Do that *and* then use your time to get herbs other ways. I would personally prefer chaos druids, and use my pest control points for exp in a combat skill. In the end, I would say it comes down to what you enjoy the most :)
  17. I completly understand you want to hold on to the stuff needed for treasure trails, I do the same for all items that are a bit of a hassle to get. Anyways. I suggest you start with organizing your bank. Put all runes next to each other, all herbs next to each other and next to them seconds and vials, all potions next to each other, all armour/clothing you have multiples of next to each other and so on with everything you use often and plan to keep using often including raw materials for skills you work on often. Put this near the top of your bank, and keep it there. That way, the bottom of the bank is the only part you need to pay attention to when you need to clear stuff out, since there is were the random junk will add up, at least that is what happens in my bank ;)
  18. It is in the knowledge database, under Evil Bob http://kbase.runescape.com/lang/en/aff/ ... le_id=1907
  19. I dont know about the other butlers, but I know for sure that the demon butler refuse to have anything to do with any bones. I assume it's the same with the others.
  20. Aye, and it goes in your quest hall. However, using this methods requires tons of law runes and can become quite costly. I personally just bring a glory and use it instead. I generally don't have a problem RC pkers. Well, a glory costs 70k, laws cast 300 each, if I made 1k house teles it would only cost me around 300k, for 1k glory teles it would cost me 70k + 450 cosmics, just the only thing is I have to recharge it every time 4th time I use it, causing me to tele and walk places I don't really need to be... Maybe I am missing something in your logics but enchanting the glory amulet is done once, only once for each amulet - and it is the enchanting that takes cosmics. Once you have the amulet, you recharge it at heroes guild, and that is free. If you are to runecraft with glory amulets, then you should buy a bunch of them - then go and recharge them all at once. When you are finished with rune crafting, sell the glories to get your money back. Also take into consideration that making the house tele tablets takes some time; mine the clay, wet the clay, make the tablet.
  21. Kappas??? Do you mean kalphite? If so, you definitly dont have to kill the queen, you can kill the small level 28 workes at the start of the kalphite lair.
  22. The more we know about you, the easier it is to give good advice. Most important is to know if you are p2p or not, but your combat level is also important. Also, what quests have you done so far? In addition to what Gamerr said regarding quests: All free quests were released before any p2p quest. Of the free quests, Cooks assistant, Romeo and Juliet, Sheep shearer, Restless ghost, Shield of Arrav and Demon slayer were in the game from the start if memory serves me right. I'm not sure of the order the other free quests. If you dont know where to start, why not start with the quests listed as Novice quests in the knowledge database?
  23. Take a look here. It is not completly up to date since it doesnt show the quest released the last 7 months, but it still will give you a very good idea of how the different quests depend on each other http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=482356&
  24. This scheme is slightly out of date since quests added the last 6 months isnt there, still it will give you the basic overview of how most quests depends on other quests, so I think it will help you http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=482356
  25. Use Miscellania (Manage thy kingdom) to get herbs. It is a lot cheaper than buying from other players. Also set some workers to cut maples, and use the tree seeds you get to level your farming. Farming herbs is a good and cheap way of getting them, I get most of my herb seeds when training slayer.
