To me, who absolutly hate the crowded merchanting worlds, this map was quite helpful. http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=519262 If you search the player made guides forum, you will find several other guides about merchanting, and were to do it.

I am one of the persons who love doing the trails. For level 1 I go to HAM if I want clues quickly (this is often when I cant decide what to do in game ;) ) For level 3 I kill what the slayer master tell me to kill, sometimes I burthorpe a task only for the reason that it's not a clue dropping monster. I dont do level 2 clues very often. I am also trying to fill up my treasure trail chest in house, and refuse to buy items. I either get them myself, or trade an item that I have double of for somehting I need. Every time Jagex do a change in the trails, no matter if they add new items or new clues, it cause a *LOT* of people to do trails. After a few weeks the amount of people who do trails sink back to "normal". That is where we are now, the last update in the trails was the 5th december which is 1,5 month ago. The new items are not new any longer and because of that the demand for them has gone down.

I've done a lot of level 1. A *lot* of them are just junk like trout, salmon, a few basic runes, black untrimmed itmes and so on. But... ... level 1 clues are *very*quick to do. Have a spade and teleport runes in your backpack and you will be done in no time. Items needed for emotes are cheap and easy to get, save them in bank as you go along to make it easier next time you get that clue. When you stop doing level 1 clues, just drop or sell the stuff to closest general shop. ... the chance of getting god pages are the same for any level clue I think -but since level 1 are so easy, that makes it a good source for god pages. ... you can *only* get the emote enhancers (flared trousers, powdered wig, pantalons, sleeping cap) from level 1. I loooove my disco pants :) ... no matter what level clues you do, collecting a full set of any trimmed armour yourself takes a *lot* of time and effort. Again, level 1 clues are quick and easy to get and solve. ... there is absolutly no danger involved when doing level 1 clues. ... full vestment sets contains items from all level clues. ... and as always with clues, it is a lot about luck Me? This is from another topic a few months ago So it is possible to do it with 4 persons *if* all 4 have crafting levels 70+ and flametaer hammers. With lower crafting levels and without flametaer hammers you need more people. Start it out with your whole team building to get the temple up. Then have at least 2-3 persons reinforcing the temple all the time while 1-2 persons fight shades. The most important is communication: to take turns in leaving the temple for doing parts of quest or bank runs. The ones who build need to keep building/reinforcing until someone else replaces them.

Are you sure you dont mean maples-flax-herbs? Ratio depending on what you need?

I must say that I really enjoy it - but I have *only* played in teams with friends and friends to friends. One or two times we picked up a stranger to finish of the last waves when someone had to leave for rl reasons, but that is about it. I do wish there were the option to trade in your points for experience though, preferably in other skills than you can train at pest control. I have gambled 500 points twice, got 44 death runes and a rune pick axe... I will try that a few times more to see what i get.

Proselyte armour - can be bought after the "Wanted!" quest.

You can not use the Verac's set for it's special effect since you need to hold the shield or you will be toast. Shield + antifire pot =full protection from fire - but the shield do the main protection from the fire, the anti-fire breath pot the rest, so with only antifire pot and no shield you will take a lot of damage from fire. You need the Antifire shield, a 1- haded weapon and as high prayer bonus as you can get.

Most people bring a dragon long or a dragon scimitar, others bring whip + dds. Personally I take a dragon long. I often swich between different roles, and want as little as possible in inventory.

I do the same, and I have been attacked by the mental, actually met it inside the walls once. Not a problem though, you just run past it very quickly. And most of the time it doesnt even notice you.

For the attacker role, it is easier the higher combat stats you have. For the other roles, high defence and hp makes it easier, especially at the higher waves. *if* you have a good healer on the team, combat stats are less important. For all roles, finding a good team is the most important. Using the horn to call out changes immediatly is highest priority to anyone.

NOt tradable, you get them from killing the monsters in the abyss.

Stand outside the door that leads into the grand tree itself. Stay close to the tree trunk, and walk to the north-west side of the tree trunk. There is a group of big mushrooms, dig next to them. Is that clearer?

When powerdoing level 1 clues (steal from HAM with runes for all telespots in inventory + spade, glory, duel ring) I have done over 20 in a day. I never kept exact count though.

It sure sounds like you have it all correct... A few questions for you, that I frankly dont know if they are relevant or not, but it is what I can think of at the moment. Have you done the fremmenik trials? If not, have you tried to start it, then kill a guard? Is there an option to talk to the guards, and if there is, have you tried it? Did you try to talk to Jossik at the lighthouse? As I said, I have no idea if any of this will help... Good luck, and please let us know how it goes.

All gnome clothes are sold in a shop in the grand tree. Blue = the darker blue Turqoise = the lighter blue I know of several players who run into problems wearing turqoise instead of blue.

To be able to do all level 1 clues you will need full green robes (top, bottom, hat, boots), cream top, blue top, turquoise bottom.

As I see it, the problem is not only the nested quotes, the problem is also that people often are too lazy to edit out the non-relevant parts of the post they quote - and that is what makes the nested quotes so horrible to read.
