  1. As I see it, the problem is not only the nested quotes, the problem is also that people often are too lazy to edit out the non-relevant parts of the post they quote - and that is what makes the nested quotes so horrible to read.
  2. Regarding your definition of billion: I would like to remind you that it varies in different countries, there are 2 systems commonly used in the world. Wikipedia has an article that explains it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Long_and_short_scales
  3. There are also several of them in Brimhaven dungeon, and that is by far the best place in my opinion. At first you will have to fight some of the wild dogs, but they stop being aggressive after a while and then you can fight the demons without problem. http://tip.it/runescape/index.php?page= ... ungeon.htm
  4. I believe you have all the numbers needed to do the maths here http://tip.it/runescape/index.php?page= ... _arena.htm So yeah, its just maths. But it doesnt interest me a bit so I will not do it for you, sorry. Edit: regarding runes. It depends on what staff you use. Eventually you will find buying a mud staff is worth it. I mean buy it, use it, then sell it to get your money back. With the mud you only use nature runes at graveyard, and only cosmics at enchantment arena. Also, you may also want to first get the bones to peaches spell, both because it is very useful when training combat but also to make your time in graveyard shorter in total.
  5. Sounds like a good plan to me. If you do the quest "the eyes of Glouphrie" will get saw that add +3 construction. With that and tea from best kitchen shelves, you can build your altar at level 69 construction. Working on both agility and prayer will also give you some variation, thats always good. Also, make sure you have some fun exploring the members world, and dont spend all your time in your house or at agility courses :P
  6. Its the examiner at digsite. Eventually the wording is slightly changed compared to the guide, if that is the case guide need an update.
  7. Wig enhances the angry emote - makes you jump up and down and shake your fists Flared trousers is for the dance emote, make you disco dance Pantaloons makes is for the bowing emote.
  8. I believe you have to do everything except the final fight.
  9. A good start for you is to read tip's guides: http://tip.it/runescape/index.php?page= ... _guide.htm http://tip.it/runescape/index.php?page= ... around.htm The members world is huge compared to the free world. Start with doing quests that makes getting around easier. Also make sapphire necklaces and emerald rings that you enchant for easy teleporting. In addition to that, train some agility and do priest in peril quest. If your attack in high enough to use dragon weapons, do lost city quest, then buy a poisoned dagger (dd++).
  10. When it comes to levelling using planks, oak is definitly the wood to use when you care about cost. Rebuilding your kitchen larders is the easiest thing to do. Chopping logs yourself is quick and easy. If you mean to go to sawmill yourself, I suggest to chop right at the sawmill, there are a few oaks. That way you dont run with logs in your inventory (logs in inventory = heavy, consumes much running energy). Chopping logs, and then bring noted logs and cash to house and have a servant run to sawmill is quicker and cost more. If it's worth it or not is very much a personal choice. The time you save can be used doing stuff that earn you money - so may be worth it. Sorry, I cant give any numbers simply because for me personally it is always more important to do things the more enjoyable way, than the most cost efficient way. I used demon butler who is polite and quick, which I like. I *think* the normal butler is more cost effective.
  11. Break? Gloves of silence? Yes, they can break, especially when you thieve something that catch you often. Example: I tried for heroes with them on. I was level 96 thieving then, gloves helped, but hero still caught me fairly often, and gloves broke. Dont know how long it took, how many failures I mean, but I think I was there less than 1 hour. I spent many, many hours with the master farmer. Gloves made little difference I think since he harldy ever catch me anyways, but gloves didnt break once.
  12. Look at the world map, its clearly marked out there. It is a fenced area south east of the Piscatoris Fishing colony
  13. Dancing in my flared trousers, definitly :D When not wearing them, dance, spin and raspberry.
  14. Use it on a skill that is fairly high (since the amount of exp you get is related to your level in the skill) - and a skill you simply dont like training. I always use mine on prayer, but I know a lot of people use it on other skills. It's a personal choice ;) Never use it on your lowest skill - instead make sure to do quest "Tears of Guthix" and then visit Juna every week to get exp. Edit: you may find this an interesting read: http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=593568
  15. Do lighthouse quest if you havent already. The good thing with the dagannoths under lighthouse is that there is a shop upstairs. That means you can bring noted food and cash, sell food to shop and buy it back unnoted. By doing this you can stay at lighthouse as long as you want :) Sure, using cannon there is great, and what I always do myself. But cannon balls are expensive, so you may want to fight them "the normal way". Then just bring your normal melee armour, food and eventually potions if you want to use that.
  16. As a new member - is making money really the most important thing? Explore the world, do some quests, start to level up the members skill a little. Focus on things that makes life in the huge world easier =quests that unlock new areas and transportation systems or teleports, or let you use items. Then you may start to think about making money. But really, explore the world first.
  17. There are 2 kinds of snail helmets - pointy and rounded. Are you sure you have the correct one? Also, when it says air staff, it means air staff. Air battle staff or mystic air battle staffs will not work.
  18. All roots can also be used for super compost :P
  19. Take a close look at the world map. There is a log you can use to get over the river to that side of karamja, it shows at world map as a green arrow. The spot is not in the water, but just on the coast.
  20. Give coordinates please, or noone can help you.
  21. The absolutly easiest way to get there is trollheim teleport, but since you ask I assume you dont have it. You must start and do part of troll stronghold quest to get there, so I think following tip's quest guide would be a good start for you: http://tip.it/runescape/?rs2quest_id=70 As you see, you first need to do death plateau quest.
  22. Check puzzle again, doublecheck it with pic in guide. There has been several occations when I thought I was done, but had mixed up 2 of the pieces with each other, usually the ones in the middle row far to the left with middle row far to the right. When puzzle is right, he will take it. If he doesnt, you have something wrong in the puzzle.
  23. It is definitly significant when you collect spawning items like some herblore second ingredients for example. It is also significant for efficient monster killing - but not always. On a full server NPC's spawn a lot faster compared to on a server with just a few hundred players. Try it out next time you go fighting. Change to a almost full server, then to one with few players on. But monster spawn time is of course not the only important thing, it is also important how many players there are competing about killing them. Sometimes it is better to go to a slower server where there is no competition from other players.
  24. Highest ranked: Thieving, ranked 684 Lowest ranked: Fletching, ranked around 63000. So yea I dont like fletching, even though I know many find it one of the easiest skills to level.
  25. Somewhere between 30 and 40, most of them home-made from own half key drops.
