  1. I believe you need to do all except one of the subquest and the final fight. What subquests you do doesnt matter, nor the order you do them in.
  2. My advice is to do something where you in addition to money get experience yourself (like spinning flax which gives crafting exp, fishing+cooking etc) instead of doing something that give exp to others (like law running where you dont get any experience yourself). In the long run, your own levels is more important than money. Also, as new to p2p - use your time to discover the game and explore the huge world. Not that it gives much money, but it's fun :) Train some agility at gnome stronghold to recover run energy faster, do some quests that opens up for new skills and areas or teleports and such.
  3. i think the question is where does he go to get another if they lost the seed. aw of course, I thought it was a strange question... and I dont know the exact answer to that one :( What I do know is that you go back to the cave where the quest eyes of Glouphrie was, and I *think* you talk to Brimstail. I am not sure what to do then though. Erm, or perhaps it is from kind Narode Shareen in the gnome stronghold? Sorry, not sure. I tried to look it up, but it's not in the quest guide, not in the item database, it's not in DragnFly's guide in Archieve of Wisdom, and forum searching doesnt seem to work for me, it takes ages to load and then I end up with a blank page... :(
  4. You just use it when building items in your house, it has limited charges.
  5. I assume we all have our personal preferences :) But yeah, as already have been said - different tasks take slightly different setup but on the whole: - Guthan set to be able to stay until the task is finished. If you have a guthan set, you will basically not need any food, personally I just keep 1 shark in inventory for emergencies. - cannon for quick but expensive killing -super sets and items with offensive bonuses (black mask, penance torso etc) will let you kill quicker, -NPC contact saves you a LOT of time, -if you plan to do your clues (and slayer monsters drop a lot of them) having the items needed for the emote clues in bank is handy as well as access to different teleportation jewellery,
  6. If you dont mind going into the wilderness, there are lots of mithril rocks in the hob gob mine. Paddle a waka from edgeville, walk to mine, get your ores, run a few steps south, tele back to edge with glory.
  7. "emote plz" "I buy your _____"
  8. If you do the quest "contact", you will have access to a bank in Sophanem and that makes pyramid plunder a *lot* easier. If you do the quest "the great brain robbery" you will get a book that heal poison for a few prayer points. So if you am thinking of doing a lot of plundering, I definitly suggest doing those quests first, especially contact. What you wear isnt that important, what you have suggested will work fine :)
  9. Of course you have the right to remain silent! If you dont want to talk, you dont have to talk, and you will *not* get into trouble for it.
  10. Or you could do temple trekking, easiest route, and evade all events that are not snakes. Bring a knife, each giant snake give 2-5 hides when skinned.
  11. The thugs in edgeville dungeon are not bad. In addition to nature runes they also drop a good amount of herbs and other runes.
  12. *does a happy dance* I am soooo glad to hear it's watermelon seeds instead of wildblood :D (regarding strawberries, I have 500+ baskets in bank that I have no current use for, but spare watermelons can be made super compost!)
  13. Agility, thieving and slayer - because you have to do the work yourself.
  14. Its just numbers. Doing what you think is fun is much more important than whatever ratio you have. Levels *will* come with time :) That is how I always played the game, slow but enjoyable levelling.
  15. Thanks, reading it brings back memories, good and bad. I was around from the very start, actually have a name among the first 10 signup's, then created Gugge to have both a non-pking account and a pking-account. I used to be high ranked, though never on the top ;)
  16. Not that I know of, sorry. I suggest you start by looking at the requirements in the kb: http://www.runescape.com/kbase/viewarti ... cle_id=130 Click on each required quest, and see what the requirements are for that quest, and you should have a fairly good idea of what quests you *must* do. Next thing to do is to look at the quest experience page, to see what quests give defence exp. Then do *other* quests, to get enough quest points. http://www.runescape.com/kbase/viewarti ... le_id=1773
  17. Well, you need to do *ALL* subquests in recepie for disaster, and before that all the quests that are requirements for the different subquests. That means you for example must do Monkey Madness and Desert Treasure - and I think doing monkey madness gives quite a bit of defence experience.
  18. Simply do what you enjoy the most - and that is something which may change with time, or your current mood. It is also something that varies a *lot* between different players. but at the end... You do play games for fun, right :)
  19. Hmm, if I remember correct, you have the shells in your inventory and then talk to him. He will offer for all the shells you carry. I have only tried with unnoted shells, I have no clue if noted work or not. The time I had a perfect shell and rest of inventory full with normal shells, he bought the perfect shell, then I had to talk to him again *I think* to sell the rest of the shells.
  20. Hmmm... I must be missing something. You want herblore levels, but you dont want to use time for it by collecting stuff yourself, and you dont want to spend money by buying the levels? Thats hard... getting levels without using either time or money to get them... Please enlighten me, what am I missing? Eventually, I think the rant section may be useful to read http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=632599
  21. For when you want variation, I suggest to train slayer and kill whatever the slayer master ask you to kill. There are several good things with training slayer: With higher slayer level you get access to kill new monsters. While training slayer you eventually may find a new favourite monster to kill. It's varied, both when it comes to what you kill and what you use to kill them (melee, mage, range) because they have different weaknesses. And finally you get combat levels without actually feel like you are training combat.
  22. Nothing of what you listed in my opinion. To me a good player is - someone with good knowledge about the game. This may mean high skills and/or high quest points and/or high combat level, but doesnt have to. It may as well be someone who spend a lot of time on forums, or helping to update fan sites, or helping other players may it be friends or strangers. To me, good knowledge about the game is the most important to be considered a good player. - someone who play the way they enjoy it. To me a good player do things the most enjoyable way (enjoyable in their own personal opinion), while they DO know the most efficient way to level that skill. To me the most efficient players are not necessarily the same players as the good players, the good players may be way down the hiscore lists..... and as menitoned above, playing by the rules of course. - and last but not least: someone who is there for their friends when they need them.
  23. Try here http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=471850
  24. I suggest to kill cave slime for it. Its a 100% drop, and the amount dropped vary. In addition to the old parts of the cave under lumbridge swamps, there is also a new very good spot with 5 or 6 cave slimes spawning in a very small area in the new cave south of the new town Drogesh-Kaan.
  25. I play to relax after work. Can as well play games as watch TV, right? ;)
