  1. try this http://tip.it/runescape/?page=smith_smelt_calc.htm it's pretty self-explanatory
  2. nty..my bank = full of tinderboxes  and chisels 8-)
  3. put like half the money into your stats, and keep the rest for future merchanting.
  4. That made me laugh harder than any April Fool's joke I've ever seen.
  5. keep up the good work howie 8-)
  6. I plan on training combat more in the future, get myself some more easy levels. I'll probably keep prayer at 60 for awhile, since I train range + melee on NPC's that don't drop any bones. I hate mining, so I doubt I'll get 85 anytime soon, but I might try n get 85 smithing. Thanks for the comments everyone
  7. (104 combat) I've been putting off prayer for a loooong time, and finally decided to dump some cash into it, along with a bit of moss giant killing. Link to top f2p list
  8. My earliest experience with rares was when I bought a green mask in rs1 for 300k. My earliest memory of Party Hat prices was when I wanted to buy a Purple for 7m, but decided not to, and instead waited awhile and bought a Green for 30m.
  9. This topic was bumped from 2 years ago :x On-topic: I highly highly highly doubt it will ever happen in Runescape. I'd say 99% of players train on monsters weaker than themselves. I see the occasional lower level training on a lesser or something, but they learn quickly that it's horrible exp and go back to training on smaller creatures.
  10. someone made a ranger with like 60 range, then pc'ed hp up to ~90. i think he won like 500m staking.
  11. I've talked with Fubu and in the past it seems he staked a RL trader and got a bunch of items off him, so Jagex saw this as an actual rl trade going on, and banned him. I personally believe him, but I could be wrong. As for Raven, he was bragging about selling stuff on ebay on a clan forum, so I wasn't really surprised when I saw he was banned.
  12. I consider a "top player" to be someone who has held a position in the top 21 for any skill or overall, for at least a few months.... or someone who has an overall skill average over 85 or 90. Top f2p players are a bit different, but mostly the same as p2pers. Anyone with 1250 total, or any f2per in the top 100 for a skill I consider to be in the top tier of nonmembers.
  13. I'm just something in between... I've heard about that checking thing, has it anything to do with recovery details or something like that? You can check if someone has been p2p if you go to the "recover account" page and type in their name. If the account has ever been subscribed to p2p, it will ask for the credit card number and member PIN thing. If it's never been p2p, obviously it wouldn't ask for any billing details.
  14. I tried putting in some p2p names just to test it out, and it can detect if they have any exp in member skills.
  15. There was a clan event on a different world, so I got it there  Thanks to everyone who posted
  16. grats :o 90 range + mage shouldn't be too hard to get if you plan on training them. ( Where did you train your combat + pray levels? )
