  1. Yeah, but we also have some fun with it a bit. If you've never seen a great OoC bombing, then you're missing a beautiful thing.
  2. My thought: Try adding an "h" to "tought"

Cute. And don't bother saying no offence, it's just a stupid thing to say. Wither they take offence to it or not.

Sorry about bumping this, I hope it isn't too old. I like the first one the most. However, the focusing doesn't really seem to be on the pins, but on SOUTH in SOUTH AMERICA. If you can, I would use a manual focus for those shots. Otherwise it can get very tricky to get the correct area you want to focus on.
  5. Colored boots to go with the colored gloves. It gets REALLY annoying having purple gloves, purple cape, and then having to wear leather boots :(
  6. Might be resolution. Try changing it to 1024 x 728. That's what I use, and RS works fine with me. But I'm not sure about widescreens.
  7. I'm actually a bit suprised here. Just judging by some of the posts in this topic, people don't read the posts other people made. :) Well I personally am baffled, basing on what'e been said in this tppic and proven wrong.
  8. Send her on a treasure hunt. I did that once. I stuffed a clue in her locker, and then i made it some when she figures a riddle out, she get's another clue. I made it go right to my locker. :)
  9. *holds breath* Here's the perfect band name: "Crying's OK" Eh?
  10. *shudders* I just can imagin getting a ring in my... BRR!
  11. Er....What?
  12. Has anyone ever seen the .regedit cheat? Well you have to run and type .regedit and then you can edit your stats. Well, I tried that, and a few months ago I figured that it was just a scheme so that you know who the noobs are  So next time you see someone running and typing .regedit, it's probably just a joke that's meant for laughs :D
  13. Really, try and avoid the whole dinner and a movie date. That's classic and boring. Try something fun for the first date.
  14. Has anyone had the original Coke forumla? Oh man is that good. But I think Pepsi has mora carbonation, just by a little bit. I like Coke a bit better though, but I'll drink Pepsi.
  15. Actually, half the time the ads just show up as grey screens, much like the Runescape loading window when your comp lags. And the other time, my anti-virus blocks it (woot Norton). But since my account on this comp isn't the Administration account, I can't mess around with the security settings, therefore I can't disable ads when I play runescape! Gah!
  16. *huggles everyone* Everyone needs a friend. In 4th grade (but only for like, 2 months), is when I was least social, because it was a completely different town. But now I'm such a social butterfly :D
  17. Has anyone ever had a snowball fight when there's a layer of sleet over/under the snow? I did once, and I took a piece of sleet about 3" long and took the head clean off a snowman with it. All you have to do is fling them like you're skipping a rock. It's really fun. I hit one of my friends in the leg with one and left this horrible bruise. I also got nailed in the side of the head by my uncle who was drafted onto 2 NFL teams as a quarterback.... You can imagine how that felt.
  18. Let's see... 25 minutes at Gore Mountain for a lift ticket 37:23 at Stowe Mountain (I timed it) for a 3-day 0 at Greek Peak :D 15 at Royal ( I went with friends) About an hour at Vail for a 4-day 30 at Alta (we had awesome powder while we were there) 20 at Jackson Hole It seems I have mostly bad luck with lines at ski places. And an hour and a half for a concert...

Actually, calling your girlfriend your girl is what they did in the 70's-80's. Havent you seen the Grease type movies? So I'm not concerned about that. But anyways, I would just wait for Monday to come around. Tell her about your friend that won't talk to you and ask her what's up. Chances are she's too shy to tell you, much as you were with her. Listen to these other people too. They all gave out good advice.
  20. That looks really nice. I think one of my friends got that one, I'm not sure though. The only thing I have with it is that it's SLR-like, not an actualy DSLR... But I think you should get whatever camera you feel like. Any of the ones you've chosen and wanted has been a good choice. So, I would go with it :)
  21. You mean you just noticed that?

I would get a Creative Labs mp3 player. they can turn out some really nice stuff for alot cheaper of a price. And the quality isn't any worse. And if you are going to get an Apple iPod, don't get the nano. Get the new iPod (there is no such think as an "iPod Video" lol). I'm actually suprised at the video (my friend has one). I thought it would suck, but it really is awesome (especially on that 6 hour trip up to Stowe).
  23. Well, one of the greatest games I've found is Ferion, http://www.ferion.com. This tick-based strategic war game is really interesting and quite fun to play, once you get past the fact that it has a 250+ page manual. After reading the manual (you should read it all), you then join the a newbie arena (the equivalent of Tutorial Island) where you can try making all the commands available in the game. But the idea of the game is to conquer as many planets as possible, first by iniatally settling them, and then taking them from other civilazations once the arena gets full. You research new technologies to help you improve your empire, and make better ships. You can form alliances, declare war, make treaties and trade agreements, etc. Some of the things that I really like about it is the size of the arenas. These arenas are absolutely massive, with 5000 planets to settle, and can last up to 4 weeks. There are also a huge amount of players to an arena, another thing I like. In one arena I just finished, there were about 200 players, each competing to get the most points (which you get by conquering, expanding, etc.) The game is much like Runescape in the sense that it's free initally, but you can choose to buy keys which expands your research capabilities per arena. Also, this game is tick based, which means you can Log on to Ferion at 6:10, put in your commands, then go eat dinner, come back an hour later and see what the progress is. You can do standing orders, so the game will do what you say while you sleep. The administration is a blessing too, very responsive and don't send you auto messages all the time. I actually got a written response from the query I sent! There aren't many things I don't like about this game, but for some people I can understand why they wouldn't like it. It takes an amount of dedication to really get into the game and get good at it. Also, the community is rather small (a downfall for some, a blessing for others), and there isn't much of a social aspect to the game. But overall, if you enjoy stratigizing and planning your next move to take over civilizations, this is the game for you Sorry about the uber long review :o
  24. But the photographer can. Even the best cameras can take crappy pictures if you don't know the basic rules for taking interesting, and fun pictures. So, if you're going to buy the camera you like (it really is a great one), you should do some reading up on the basics of photography. Stuff as simple as the rule of thirds can make the pictures alot more interesting to look at. And since you have quite a while before you go, buy it and practice :o I hope you have a great time in Europe with your friends 8)
