I went to the Pittsburgh-Bowling Green game today, and came home having witnessed a terrible game (Pitt, 12 point favorites, lost..) and bad sunburn... note, if you go to an outdoor event on a warm sunny day, WEAR SUNSCREEN. :wall: to the above poster... Larry Fitzgerald finished 2nd for the heisman in 2003, as a sophomore for pitt, which may have been why, he lost to Oklahoma senior QB, Jason White... Larry probably should have won, senior bias :P Fitzgerald got 1353 votes and White got 1481 votes. But yeah only 2 receivers have ever won a heisman.

I went and got 50 runecrafting from 44 just a few days before the runecrafting guild, not because of the guild, but because I was working on getting all stats 50+ (which id be at if it wasn't for summoning). One of these days I'll get my RCing up more, but I do think it is one of the most boring skills in the game.

Lol sorry everyone I kinda forgot about this thread. I haven't played MKwii or any other video game in a while now since i've gotten back into RS and stuff, so I guess a tourney isn't gonna be happening. I too could care less about rankings and such. Whenever I go into a room I hope to meet some competition (sometimes I do, but there was some cases when I pretty much dominated).

Sigh, this happens in a lot of message boards. Person A posts a topic that Person B says should've either been posted in another thread or not posted at all, and a long meaningless flame war ensues... so this will probably be locked because of that. I recently returned to RS and good thing I became a member before the price change... but if I did after this change, it wouldn't have been a big deal.

A local area lawyer named Edgar Snyder has a LOT of commercials that appear on TV here in my region... it gets annoying. It's like if all you did was watch TV here you'd think he's the only lawyer in the Pittsburgh area. He always ends his commercials by pointing and saying "There's never a fee unless we get money for you!" What a guy! :wall: :wall:

I don't mean to offend you, but it sounds like she's looking for a sugar daddy. Young adults need to date people their age, get married, have the struggles of early life alone, and then settle down in your older years when you're financially stable. A lot of people are skipping the entire cycle and just moving in to a stable environment, which isn't a good thing. I know what you mean, but... The man works at wal-mart (like her) and lives in a bad neighborhood. I don't understand my sister...

Like a year ago I was helping my dad, filling in for a job delivering newspapers to local businesses in the middle of the night. I was kinda chillin in the passenger seat while he was gettin some papers ready in an empty gas station. A car pulls up and I kinda glance over and I see a man with a facemask on. Im scared as hell at this point, empty gas station, 5am, noone around. So I kinda tell my dad "uh, theres a guy with a facemask on.." and he just finishes dropping the papers off and he acts real casual cuz hes doin his job and he doesn't know what i'm getting at. The guy kinda stared at me then got out of his car. Next thing I know the guy walks over to the pumps like he was just gonna fill his car with gas. My dad gets into the drivers seat, and we're off. Pretty damn scary, don't even know what that guy's deal was.

My team is the P-I-T-T PITT panthers :thumbsup: Reason i'm so enthusiastic about sayin that is because this is supposed to be the year the solid recruiting the past few years finally pays off... they haven't had a winning season in a few years, but they got a good defense, and a heisman hopeful in LeSean 'Shady' McCoy (whose stats last year were very similair to Knowshon Moreno's) . They beat West Virginia last year, if they wouldve beaten Pitt they could be the defending national champs ... too bad WVU :lol:

On a higher scale... my 23 year-old sister is dating a man in his 40's, and it's just... weird in my opinion. She's dated guys her age and i'm worried she got discouraged with them so she thinks dating someone older would be better. I mean, this guy's old enough to be her father, and I don't like it. But meh... she seems to like him.

Er anyway, when I go for a goal (i've gotten 2 99's so far and im goin for another, tougher one in agility) I usually stick with it pretty big time as in i'll stay in that spot for a while in game and work til i'm done. I really don't mind it that much, I don't often pay complete 100% attention to the gamescreen though (unless it's a skill I really have to).

I'm the same way... though it's gotten too dry for me in the past, I always end up coming back.

Fixed. Anyways. I think people need to get over the whole "No life lulz!" thing. Just because you dislike standing at the mall or taco bell killing time while talking about the boobs on that chick that just walked by doesn't make you a horrible person. I HATE the elitist attitude people with "lifes" have. I think the majority of MMO players are kids/teens anyway. A lot of people have played RS at one time, a lot of "cool" people too, in my old school at least. It's just some of us have stuck with it (i've been at it on and off for years).

Yeah i'm kinda bored, so I decided i'd start a blog here tracking my latest goal... 99 agility. I decided to go for it just the other day because I think it's a pretty helpful skill, I don't mind training it as much as a lot of other people do (though this could change), and there's also a very nice looking cape/cool emote to be had. Combine this with the fact that i'm pretty obsessed with leveling up my skills as opposed to my combat at this moment and there ya go. School starts the 25th of August, so my playtime will be greatly reduced... this will probably take me a few months. Before I took a year long break nats were something like 330gp per... I'm not gonna dissect this but let's just say i'm not surprised they've dropped so steadily over the past year. It'll be interesting to see how it continues though.

Not bad Jagex... I still dislike the extremity of the RWT updates but this actually sounds like it might be kinda cool. I'm not real big on PVP either but Bounty Hunter sounds really dumb and I'll probably never go there (I have tried Clan Wars though... probably won't return, too much teaming and crap).

Well I got my first one, fishing, over a year ago. After some thought I decided to go for 99 thieving as my 2nd 99. But with the start of school and loss of interest, I took yet another long break from RS, this one over a year. Well, with 4 weeks left of summer (a very boring summer I may add) I decided to renew my membership and give RS another shot. First thing I decided to do was get 99 thieving, and I got there pretty fast. Okay, I'll admit, I spent a lot of hours per day going for it, thus I was able to go from 75-99 in a matter of 2 weeks. I won't be playing anywhere near this often once I get a job, and once school starts... I did the blackjack method basically the whole way from 40 or 50ish onward, with my laptop touchpad (it really didnt slow me down a ton, dont get why so many people say it does). I made 4.5 mil thieving from 75-99. Feel free to comment on my stats, I guess now i'll start to work on some of my lower stats (including summoning which I havent started) and I should probably do some more quests too, I only have like 100 some QP.. I'm 88 combat btw.

Good luck. I've spent the past 2 weeks thieving like mad and i'm a mere 250k away from 99 which I plan on getting tomorrow :) I blackjacked too, it is reaaally fast xp, and you'll make a couple million gp, so in the end it's more profitable than PP. PP requires all those supplies too... and banking... getting used to it takes longer as well :thumbdown: Although it probably is a bit less boring.

I used to lure noobs into the bearded dark wizard at wizard tower... I died there once when I was a noob and a LOT of people fell for it. I wouldn't do something like that nowadays though :shame:
