  1. Christmas :x
  2. Awesome, i've heard a lot of folks say that. I really enjoyed 64 and Sunshine (despite the :wall: -type sprite missions and poor camera) so I doubt i'll be let down. I'll probably request Zelda: TP and Mario Galaxy with the Wii... thanks everyone for helping me wanna start anticipating December 25th :) :x
  3. One more thing... any lefties here with a WII? I'm lefty in basically everything and would this give me any trouble using the wiimote?
  4. Thanks everyone for the responses, I'm leaning more towards getting it now. 250$ isnt all that bad either :)
  5. Well... for xmas I was thinking of throwing out the wii as a gift idea for me. It's affordable, and I also am what you would call a 'casual gamer' I suppose... I can live without online play, and i'm not big on first person shooters(halo... blah. whatever.) I play a lot of old games. Super mario galaxy looks pretty sweet...as does super smash bros. when it comes out. In general I love nintendo games. But I still don't really know a ton about the system. First off, what are some of the other good wii games/games you would suggest? Also, (scuse the stupidity of this question...) but I don't really understand the controller either. The 'wii remote' i'm guessing is basically the primary controller, right? Does that work fine? Cuz it looks a lil ... different. Otherwise, try to convince me it'd be a good purchase and suitable for me, if you can. Thank ya.
  6. Currently twisted metal 2 pc, it would be so much better if I could get it working online though... but i'm always playing outdated games  (mario, donkey kong country, sonic, etc.)
  7. Lol this thread makes this look like its a Boston forum, but red sox nation has gotta be huge. My team is the Pirates. Enough said.
  8. I originally said id get 99 cooking with all the trout and salmon that I caught. I'm at 87 right now and it was just... blah... wayy too many little fish to cook.
  9. If you really want it, like I really wanted it, you won't have too much of a problem (even though it will take a while...) Good luck
  10. Naw, you need 68 for fish guild. It's a start. Good luck, and keep going
  11. This isn't me .. but my cousin (whos around my age) told me how he was once robbed at gunpoint. The guy said to him, after my cousin gave him 10$ (all he had) "run up to that stop sign in 5 seconds or i'll shoot you right now" He kinda just moved quickly to the sign and the dude left. Granted he lived in like one of the worst areas of our city, that would be sooo scary. I used to walk around in that neighborhood too when I was younger...

Wow.. sorry to hear about that. It could've been much worse though. Was it in an area/city known for crime/gangs?
  13. Take this from a person who spent over 3 months in shilo village fly fishing... no. The feathers for it only cost me about a million gp (76-99).
  14. That's cool... I like watching Food Network for some reason. But isn't the show Dinner Impossible starring that one dude who's supposed to be a badass... he comes in and is on some 'mission' to prepare a feast or something of some sort with the help of some chefs. He like yells at the chefs too. Maybe this was some special episode though?
  15. I was at a gas station at about 5:30 am helping my dad deliver papers, and this station was one of the stops. There was only one other guy there, and I took a glance of him in his car ... the guy (who looked like a white dude in his 20's) had one of those facemasks on or w/e you call em that you tie behind your neck and it goes over your mouth. It wasn't blue or red, but he gave me a good stare then walked out of his car.. and got gas. Then we left. So yeah... I don't know what his deal was. He looked a LOT like a robber though.
  16. Here we go... a prime rib & peppercorn sandwich from Quizno's and chips.
  17. Miguel Richardson: Chocolate birthday cake with "2/23/90" written on top, seven pink candles, one coconut, kiwi fruit juice, pineapple juice, one mango, grapes, lettuce, cottage cheese, peaches, one banana, one delicious apple, chef salad without meat and with thousand island dressing, fruit salad, cheese, and tomato slices one delicious apple.. nice. I also like this one: Twenty-four soft shell tacos, six enchiladas, six tostados, two whole onions, five jalapenos, two cheeseburgers, one chocolate shake, one quart of milk and one package of Marlboro cigarettes. (Prohibited by TDCJ policy) but my favorite: T-bone steak, french fries, catsup, Worcestershire sauce, rolls, peach cobbler, and ice tea CATSUP? that might be hard to come by.
  18. Ew that's something you don't see every day... and to think I only live about an hour away... (south hills)
  19. It could be worse... ever see The Cable Guy with Jim Carrey/Matthew Broderick? Er sorry i'm goin off topic there... one of my all time favorite comedies though. Anyway, I would just have a talk with him, tell him how you feel in a light manner.
  20. The Steelers finished at .500 last year and I don't think they'll do much better this year. The Bengals weren't all that great last year either... they'll do good but I can't see them doing much damage come playoffs.
  21. Donkey Kong Country 3 (SNES)- Yeah i know, weird choice, but I loved this game. Colorful, good graphics, great music, unique levels... Twisted Metal Black (PS2)- Great environment, great stories behind each character, fun gameplay, the Twisted Metal series rocked, and this was the first ps2 game I had, good times with it. Super Mario RPG (SNES)- First RPG I... beat. Yeah i'm sure I could stick some FF's in here (FFVI I really like so far, FFVII looks great, but haven't played, and FFX I got stuck on one of the bosses deep in the game, and I never got to training for him since I wasn't really well prepared enough...) Chrono Trigger's awesome too, I got probably somewhere near the halfway point, then lost my saved game :ohnoes: ANYWAY... SMRPG was really fun, some neat lil minigames, liked the whole fact that there were no completely random encounters, and simplicity is something I enjoy... had it with this. Banjo Kazooie (N64)- Took Super Mario 64's idea kinda, but it was a more colorful and interesting game with more to it. Grand Theft Auto San Andreas (PS2)- I think it got the whole 'tough kid in the hood' scenario right... thus making it an interesting game. Beat it the whole way through, loved all the missions and the stuff in it. Ok I pretty much typed an essay... and i'm not even that much of a gamer... there's a lot of games that got great reviews/feedback that I haven't played through soo... yeah.
  22. FFVI for snes, i've put in roughly 11 hours so far. Sometimes I can't get too involved into rpgs but this one's pretty neat so far :)
  23. Erm, I have a few minor ones I remember, don't think anyone mentioned them. Back in RSC in a corner outside of lumby castle a zamorak mage (lvl 47 I believe at the time) just spawned there. It just... was there, facing the wall. I know you couldn't kill it... but I think it could kill you. Stupid people did die from this bug. Also I don't think this would count since it was during the Rs2 beta but me and my buddy had fun with it. If you failed during the trawler event, you were put out into the ocean, swimming... now er, I don't remember (it was over 3 years ago) exactly how it worked with you exiting the sea, but I remember when you ended up on land you could 'swim' throughout RS
