I'm excited. Barely can believe I'm writing this, or that I even got this far, or that I even started doing this about six months ago. It wasn't my plan to end it this way, but this is where the path took us. Selling six million feathers six gp each! Originally I got the idea to start a "feather collection" because I thought I could fletch millions of broad bolts and make the huge profits that were possible at that time (600k-1m/h + the fletching xp). It would've been possible to buy the feathers 6gp ea from a store, but I was cheap. Shortly the masses found out about broad bolts and their price fell below the point where you didn't profit anymore. After that I kept the collection, because I was making money faster than I could spend it and needed to use it on something, to stop myself from doing bad, not completely thought out investments (like the two santa hats I bought last winter). Feathers were the medium with which I could store large amounts of money without the risk of losing them because of my own stupidity. (like when I bought the bandos armor this week :thumbdown: ) Also, I thought it was pretty cool to own that many feathers. :mrgreen: Now, I didn't expect feathers to ever move from their frozen GE price at 4gp ea. But they did. And they did it again. Now the GE price is the same as the store price, and I believe fletchers are now buying their feathers from stores, again creating more feathers than they need and eventually dropping the price again. So now could be my chance to get rid of these, as it has become apparent that I will not ever get to the ultimate ten million feathers. I'd like to thank all my supporters and feather sellers. If you are a hardcore fletcher (going for 200m xp maybe?) and want to help a collector in distress, please consider buying my feathers (worth 36M). For a day I thought I could from now on just concentrate on getting money for phoenix quills. My clan leader quit RS and I bought a bandos plate + tassets, because he always used those. Yesterday I got a construction level with tears. Today I lost a terrorbird full of loot from steel dragons when i had a connection lost and its timer ran out :( Next I'm doing skeletal wyverns. Yes I wasted my money on bandos and continued slaying. :^o Bought namco- game collection for my psp today :mrgreen: :thumbup: pacman etc

Where does a circle begin, what is north of the northpole, what was before time etc :twisted: \ What does it matter how it was created/born, couldn't we all just be happy that it is here in the first place.

Just out of curiosity, what reasons do you have to disbelieve? And no, I don't mean the burden of proof - I mean what makes you want to be an atheist. I don't know about you, but the idea that we have something 'sheltering' over humanity sounds comforting. Repeatable task was easy, don't know if I'll use barrows armor or pray equipment in the future but definitely no food required. The rebirthed monsters drop charms and have a few nice drops + you need five inventory slots for the branches = something to note when you are taking a full inventory of sharks with you the first time :mrgreen:

It's good I'm not the agressive type, otherwise I'd probably need to buy a new kewboard or fix a hole in a wall. Went to my sister's to play guitarhero (she bought a new guitar for multiplayer) after my screen froze at mithril dragons. Logged back in today to find myself in good health (54hp). 4gp ea, I get a few every now and then. How many dragons have you killed for this? I killed about 1K black dragons, 500 steels and irons, some KBD (about 50) and some skeletal wyverns (under 50). The only 2 things I got are d platelegs and a d skirt. And some clues with bad rewards. The dragonfire shield was released in june 2007. After it I killed wyverns for two days. I've completed all of my iron, steel and black dragon assignments, I've killed KBD's and mithril dragons. I've gotten atleast two dragon skirts and two dragon legs from steel and iron dragons, I recently got two dragon medium helmets from the KBD and I've gotten nearly all ancient pages from mithril dragons. I hope that gives you some idea of how many I've killed, my guess would be 1000-2000 iron dragons, ~500 steel dragons, 1000+ mithril dragons, ~200 KBD's and 200+ black dragons, maybe 300-500 skeletal wyverns. - Another nice clue I did yesterday, from hellhounds. Also (finally) used my slayer points to get the helmet, I've now learned everything from the masters I can. The visage took me to 40M cash, which I will use to get to 136cmb in January. After I got the slayer helmet I haven't much reason to slay anymore, and as waterfiends aren't my thing, I'm hunting mithril dragons for charms, full helmets and ancient pages. 16 blue charm drops till I have 1000 blue charms, etc. (And school begins tomorrow :| )

Apparently there are more feathers leaving the game than entering it because of the fletchers.. Woulnd't be surprised if they went to 6gp ea :thumbup: Also got dragon boots from the same task. You can get god pages from clues again, and they've effectively gone down from 1m to 300k ea -.-

I've heard quite a few stories of ~10-year-olds who were shocked when they saw their mother/father/sister/brother naked. Avoiding nakedness is ok but you shouldn't be overprotective about your children. An inappropriate question: How old were you guys when you first saw a naked [person]? In real life, not on a screen, and someone other than yourself ;)

Got a dragon plateskirt from steel dragons Spent a few days at my grandma's before the new year Came back home Got this. Now, this is my first ever dragonic visage. When they were first released the two people I killed red dragons with (and we found out they don't even drop the visage ;) ), and with whom I later killed skeletal wyverns the same day, both got a visage on the releasing day. Now about 18 months later I get my first :thumbdown: It still managed to excite me a bit, as I don't remember ever getting two dragon items on the same assignment. Should I sell it or smith into a dfs before selling? Btw I was gone for three days and the GE sold me less than 1000 feathers in that time. :| I'm not getting anywhere with my "collection".

Um, how old are you? This isn't meant to be remotely insult btw, its just as you get older perspectives start to change, when you hit thirty you start getting these little twinges in your body, things don't work as well as they did in your twenties. I'm now 36 and it takes me maybe twice as long to get out of a chair as it used to. It's nothing really but the constant feelings of resistance from your body do impact how you view the world and it brings a lot of realisation that you will actually eventually someday stop. I remember being young quite clearly, I remember how long it took for a day to pass and these days the days just fly past, if I stop paying attention and then turn around too quickly a year will have passed. Then add to all those feelings the things left undone, I work as an artist, as a sculptor and I'm nowhere near as good as I want to be and eternity would allow me to perfect my abilities, as it is there is a limit to my abilities, my death. I also want to see my family continue, see my nieces grow up into the young women they will be see them conitune through their lives and have children of their own and see them grow up too. And thats just the good stuff, theres also fear of the unknown, the fear of the pain of death and the fear of the pain of old age, theres being unable to contribute, unable to look after yourself and fear of being a burden. Really theres some good reasons to want immortality. I'm a 18-year-old student from Finland. I understand that we view things from different perspectives. I stand behind my opinion. I discussed this with my sister (22) and mother (46). I presented your reasons as mine, but they still disagreed with me. So age doesn't always bring the search of immortality with it. But it is possible that I've learned my negative thoughts from them. They said that you'd be bored of it no matter what, you could search the world and meet all the cool people, master everything and watch every movie, but you still wouldn't die. You could see your children grow up, and you would see their children grow up, and so on. I'm sorry, but it sickens me. And then the next argument. "You can't get bored in heaven, because you live together with God" I can't understand how one could be happy forever. It doesn't work that way. You have to be miserable at times to be happy another time. It can't work any other way. You'd prefer not existing to being bored? Oh come on. Having the inability to think is freaky. Sure, nonexistence wouldn't be too bad, primarily because you couldn't experience it, but I would rather be bored and still able to ponder my boredom. Definitely, I'd prefer not existing over being bored. Being bored forever. Not being bored > being bored, simple as that. What life is an eternal life?

I prefer not to think it as the halfway to 99, but just as a level. ;) only with torstols, strawberries and watermelons btw

I'm a crasher. :ohnoes: ;) Because you can never be sure how long you'll need to hop before finding an empty world. Because I get a lot of connection losts and try to reduce world hopping to the minimum. Because I think competing for kills is exciting. Because I think training together with others is more fun than training alone. Because I can.

I just don't get why people want to live forever. Other than that I guess I got nothing against christianity or those other religions where you reincarnate or you are reborn or w/e I find eternity, as an idea, to be extremely dull, and in a way, frightening.

Didn't personally like god of war very much. The graphics are psp's best I think, and there weren't any glitches, but it has little replay value after you've played it once. The best boss is in the first city, after which the game repeats itself over and over again, all of the fights are about the same. One of the good things was that the game wasn't too long. I'd go for some classic game collection, those games may be addictive but isn't that the point? GOW isn't.

They work as if you had a few extra familiars following you. :thumbup:

You don't want to grow many lilies because it's a pain getting the seeds. You only need to grow them once and then you're set. Flower were never good xp.

Hopping worlds is a pain, I stopped rune mining for money after the first million gp I made. Since then it has been a useful tool for whenever I have a task to do anywhere near the rune rocks, for example dark beast task or clue in the wilderness. There are many easier ways of getting money without spending maybe months getting a required level. So only for money I'd say it's not worth it, but if you value it as an accomplishment then why not.
