Divine is good for places where there's a prayer altar nearby, Elysian's effect makes it the best defence shield, spectral and arcane are good for places where you want mage def or offence boosts with some other defence too (castle wars). The high summoning defences make them good for duel tournaments. DFS stays the usual choice for most people though. And remember that the prices are off still, we don't know if they'd be worth 20m or 200m after a few months time.

One could stand in a corner, have a unicorn out and cast heal-team lunar spell to save some of the food costs of the others in the team. Also people should have vengeance with them. they're just ideas, don't know how well they'd work in reality.

World 98 is a good world to kill it atm. There are no graves, so it's best to 3 item. The beast has ~2000hp and the dark thingy heals it when it's spawned. People are using ruby bolts and GS's atm. Bring some cheap food, but don't think you wouldn't die. People don't use coinshare because the amount of people in the room each would only get like 100k for a good drop. It's more fun to get the drops alone =P~ Drop list: 125 addy ores.

8-) Yesterday I witnessed a weird bug, or then a lvl 3 clue scroll is indeed a rare drop from the Bork. It wasn't even dropped in the drop pile, but under my character #-o No idea where it came from but I got zammy legs from it :thumbup: Today I did summer's end, which imo shouldn't have been a sequel but an integral part of the original quest. Going to kill the Beast next. edit. w98 for boss killing, one drop i saw was 125 addy ores. Bring ruby bolts or a gs. there are no graves so other equipment is too risky to bring. In runescape I've only played castle wars and did the compulsory trips to Bork and Zaff. I tried new clan wars yesterday but as I'm not the pker type I didn't fancy it. I can see that a load of castle wars pkers have gone to the new clan wars though, which is only a good thing. Also did a short trip to Bandos with Eagle Tas & co, but we didn't get anything worth mentioning. Today I did a trip to mith dragons with the same results. Mith dragons drop 4 charms at a time just like the kbd, but most of them are green instead of crimson. Trigonometry and advanced algebra next week ->

Court is one thing, sinning another. Court doesn't put you to jail if you sin, only if you break the law and they catch you doing it. The system we live in wouldn't work if there was no laws, but after the law, no one cares what you have done. For example, there are many legal ways of doing "bad" things, these can be called loopholes. Is it wrong to (ab)use the system to your own benefit, when no court can sentence you for it?

Or a third scenario, where the man thieves the baker, but the baker is happy because he had helped someone, 100% + 100% = 200%. OR the thief doesn't really care about the baker, because why should he, and steals anyways. Why is the thief responsible for his actions to the baker, why should he care? It's just life, it happens. Maybe the thief wouldn't have needed to steal if the baker hadn't put up such a high price for the bread. Maybe the thief would've liked to become a baker too, but couldn't because the baker was there one year earlier. Or would it have been better for the thief not to steal but to starve to death because he couldn't get work, while praying for a god to help him? So who did you say was in the light and who was in the shadow?

If there is no satan, no sin, no right and wrong, no good and evil, is there anything we couldn't do? What stops us from doing immoral and/or unethical things to each other and then just suicide or run&hide to escape the consequences. Religions have been a genius invention to keep the masses under control, and now that people are starting to think on their own, who knows what could happen.

Three million feathers(7.9.2008) One million -> two million took 13 days. Two million -> three million took 5 days 8-) 56k till 99 magic.. Got 2k diamond bolts ready to be enchanted and then i'll need to come up with something else. It feels like I've forgotten how to train magic effectively, no idea how I got to 98.. 8-9 hours with a good pc clan maybe it's not that useful but it's good to have if you ever needed it in the future.

The events are always random, no way to affect that. If you want more snake events per hour, you should spend less time on the other events. The slayer ring is awesome in this because you can teleport to the slayer tower and get a new follower from Salve in 30 seconds. I use it to escape bog events.

In theory, if the day resets at a set time, you could do these activities twice in a row, if the reset was in between. For example you kill the bork and come back 5 mins later to kill it again, if you time it right. (?) So anyone wanna investigate this for the rest of us?

I bought battlestaves from Zaff less than 24 hours ago, and now I'm buying them again. I mined a shooting star less than 24 days ago and got the reward, I did that again half an hour ago. Next I'm going to Bork, which also is told to be a once in a day activity, but which I last did less than 24 hours ago. This means, that the 24 hours aren't calculated from the moment you did the activity, but is reset at a set time every day. When does the day start?

What do you guys think we humans are going to look like after the next notable step in our evolution? Take into consideration: - Natural selection in today's world - War, diseases, climate warming etc ends of the world - Culture evolution For example three teenagers got killed in a car accident yesterday, what does this tell about natural selection and how has our modern culture affected the way evolution is taking us? Also, how likely do you think the X-men-like mutations are? Humans vs mutants etc.

They are still overpowered when you take into account how much they cost. As good as addy and cheaper than mith bolts? ridiculous. Good job nerfing smithing even further.

I come from school at ~1pm gmt and am done with homework at 3pm gmt, and the best I've done this week is seeing the "Danqazmlp has logged out". :wall: When I'm alone I can do 4-5 kbd kills per trip when I use sharks and monkfish 50-50, I could get 6-7 if I wasn't poor and could use sharks. Banking is very fast though so I could bank between each kill if I wanted to and still kill them as fast. When I'm killing them with the odd fellow kbd hunter, I can get upto 15 kills in a trip, but will only get half of the drops if I'm lucky. The melee'ers do atleast as much damage as I do in my void robes, but they must use much more food. I'm not 100% sure though, I should test to see.. But KBD hunting comes with a drawback. I need to be on ancients to do it effectively (till 79 summoning), so I'm unable to do farming rounds. This hurts me a lot, because I'm spending tons on feathers daily and farming would get me easy money. Mined my first asteroid today, thanks to the ppls on EMR's. It's not worth the trouble, but it IS fun.

There are a few good spots on Ape Atoll and in the legend's quest jungle, but they are cut&burn- spots, not good for banking unless you have a pack yak. I'd suggest not to try cutting teak/mahogany for cash.

Any suggestions what the music should be like then? atari-like music is one of the only music types that fits the "RS-atmosphere" at all. Don't know about HD as I don't use it, but the low detail mode is not atmospheric. I do enjoy some of the songs and landscapes though, but only a few of them, and mostly because they hold some old memory of me as a noob.
