I'd be more interested in what the smaller snakes drop, cos that lvl 149 is only killable once? Maybe the same drops for the big snake and the smaller ones? That would explain why a lvl 149 only dropped lvl 2 clues :) And are those smaller snakes poisonous too?

:o What do you say of that! Completed the quest, wasn't too hard. to get across the slippery logs without failing, use planks. Wcing those mahoganys and teaks doesn't get you nearly any xp and you don't get the logs. Only way to get logs from there is through investing money to the kingdom :cry:

Yea! Because we want easy levels!! :lol: I'd prefer it being something different than those skills we already have... Although these updates come often and interrupt my training and pking, I love reading the whiners reactions on them <3

Buhuu my money making skill is now making 100k less profit per hour :cry: aha. Well other skills, such as smithing havent been profitable in years. Cry about that. I hated that big cash runecrafters were making, now its more fair compared to other skills.

Shut the hell up. If you were a student, and you had potentially $32000 available to you, are you saying that you would not be tempted whatsoever? I'm not saying it is right, but you have to realise that this is an exceptional case, not every rule breaker has a bank worth 4 billion. The amount of pixels you have in this game doesn't make any cases exceptional. If everyone that had money problems irl was an exceptional case, we wouldnt need any rules. And ofcourse we all would be tempted about the tons of irl cash, but it still doesnt make it right to take them. I can just congratulate Jagex for another good decision. Because cooking gaunts don't help with all fish. They only help with a small number of fish - sharks, lobbs, tuna and something else iirc. i dont believe that. i believe it helps with all fish, or it SHOULD. i mean it says, helps with cooking fish. I investigated the island a bit more and think i found a new way to train my smithing & mining. Right outside the gate of the city are 3 iron rocks close to each other. I can mine those, then go into the city, smelt them into bars, then use the metal press to make the iron bars into sheets and then sell those sheets to Franklin, who stands right next to the gate. What i'm trying to say here, is that mining, smelting, forging and 'selling' those irons is very easy and takes only a little time. + you get 20xp per bar pressed into a sheet and 20gp per bars sold to Franklin. Normally you'd need to mine, bank, smelt, bank, smith into items, bank and sell. Now just mine, smelt, smith, sell and the same again. If this isnt fast then what?

Yep, as far as i can see, monkfish is better or nearly the same xp as shilo-fishing. And if it was worse than shilo-fishing i would still get very good training food. Monks will not drop sharks from the top, as they will still be the best pking food, easy to get and heal the most. Monks could take over sharks as the cooking training food, but if cookers just trade cooked for raw, that won't happen (because atleast i want to get the better-than-sharks cooking xp and still burn less!) As for the lobsters vs monks, i'd say... monks = better xp, monks = better for training, but lobs = faster to fish.. so i dunno :wink:

Sometimes when i want so show off i go straight to the southern portals and solo them before any other of those teams show up. Its cool to see that you can kill a portal on your own without the help of others :D and the spinners are easy to kill from those spots :wink:

if you wish to defend, i'd suggest taking both melee and range/mage gear. Cos at one time there will be no melee monsters to kill, and you cant get through any gate because of the monsters behind them. So now you can mage/ range from the towers or behind the gates. And with the spinners, you dont need to kill them, or even lure them away from the portal. Just attack them once so they attack you, it makes them busy enough for you to attack the portal. I soloed a gate with 3 spinners attacking me 8) No idea where the rest of my team was, but we won the round :lol: btw. 100th post :o

In the Recipe for Disaster quest, where you have to get that token that shows the dragon fairy; He says that he had given the token to a great hero = Dragonkin. I believe that this hero wanted to become a great black dragon. :lol: Lol, there are as many theories as there are rs players, and it's (nearly?) impossible to say what they are going to add to this game and when.

Yes, getting to maxed combats still is an achievement. (did i spell it right? :shock: ) And yes, many people will get it during this year. :lol: Pking (and every other pvp activity) still takes some skills. For example the new mud pie and different potions, prayers, weapons and styles make a whole worlds to pking. You need to know what you are doing and when many people have nearly the same stats, its only from their strategies (and luck :x) :wink:

At the swamp puzzle you can use a knife with the bush and get sticks. You can use these sticks to test the swamp if it is passable, no need to get yourself drowned :wink: Also the official guide says nothing about getting tree seeds as rewards? Cool guide, but i have a question: Is it worth it to use pray pots, sharks and all this time? Is the reward big enough? imo, not. But cool guide anyways :)

This is beginning to sound like the text on rs :lol: But, you asked for things to add, so here they are: I think there could be something about barrows too; all new members aren't lvl 56 who want to kill just werewolves. And a tip telling that you should keep world map allways on on your first member week. Helps alot. And "Try everything, and you'll find something to do that suits you the best!" Something more about cw? Something about more monsters? i dunno.. And that you can only go on misthalania after doing fremennik trials, and you can only go in shilo village after doing that quest. There could be loads of stuff!

great tutorial.. but when i tried this my file size is like 100+kb as it should be 30kb > how do i make it smaller? i have the right width & height (300x150) but it still is too big. and yes, i tried it with 256 colors, still 36kb. i used paint shop pro 6 in scanning/ cutting/ copying, and usual paint in colouring. ty ----- edit. ups, i found the answer allready, delete this if you want..
