  1. From Legend of Arrav part 1: But if there was the skill of hunting, there would also be the skill of silence coming out? I really doubt that there will ever be a skill called hunting. btw, the story also tells about the skills of farming and fighting :)
  2. I used black hides, rune defender, d scimmy, climbing boots, the neclace thingy and berserker helm, ring of wealth, obby cape and dark gloves and it took 2 trips to finish my shilo assignment of ~ 150 cave horrors. It was slow xp, waste of monkfish and I didn't even get the mask. My guthans didn't heal enough to be efficient. Tip: take a tinderbox with you to burn the mahogany logs and alch runes for the addy helms and rune daggers. Those will save you some inv space. And I will have to get there again to get my mask :-#
  3. I won't write a long post about something i'm doing atm, cos the time I spend writing it will be longer than the time you will spend reading it, so it's waste of time for me  BUT I'll tell you few things of what to do while fishing/killing kurasks/ whatever you are doing. 1) Read Rs official forums. Really. Especially the 'Future updates' section. There are so many stupid, fun, crazy and stupid ideas that they always get me laughing. Theories about pinguins preparing a war against mankind and dwarves and goblins joining together to fight Falador  There are hundreds and hundred of pages of ridicilous suggestions, check them out! 2) Make calculations. I just found out, that I need to play 115 hours to get to slayer lvl 85 and 758 hours to get to maxed melees  No, I have not checked if I have done my math right, but those number seem to be right.. Making calculations is not only interesting, but it also makes time go faster. 3) Read God letters/ old behind the scenes/ readers letters and so on There are many good stories, you wanted those? Perfect for killing time. After you have read those, check out The Manual and hiscores. Should take you a while
  4. I think those are also known as mushrooms  I sent in a bug report, tell me when it's fixed, ok? gotta finish that clue later...
  5. Found out that this area has changed a bit. I got a clue "Must be full of railings" but nowhere here is the crate where the next clue used to be. Any idea when this was updated? and what should I do about my clue? Thx :?
  6. Gah, I had enough of those hand jokes in hand in the sand quest :x Gotta head off to get some heads off  XD
  7. When using something with something, it no longer says "use item1 with item2" but "Use item1 -> item2" Weird, why was that changed? Btw, don't use rune armor in the animated armor minigame, unless you want to loose a bit of rune every now and then..
  8. You can set a PvP mode from your throne room with the lever. There you have a huge area to have fights :) Only bad thing are those f2p people in clans.
  9. I have been killing kurasks for my slayer task, nearly 100 done and still no head. They seem to be rare drops :? How many different lines does that head have?
  10. What might that be?! Btw there should be one topic for all these bugs
  11. But being the rarest tradeable item in the game (if those high levelers keep the amount low) these will be sold. Think about merchanters, then think about those who want to get the best items without skilling  They could possibly get back all the money they put in the training.
  12. Yes, another topic about construction :) I thought a little about the rich players going for construction lvl 99 and wondered what will they get after their lvl 99. They'll be able to build up anything in the game, and they could make the coolest throne room in Runescape. Some of you might be "woot, They get some chairs, whats cool in that?". But with making flat furniture and other construction stuff, they could earn millions. Because the first 99'er will be the only one with the ability to make the demonic throne, he/ she could make one flatpack version of it and sell it for huge profit. It would be the rarest item in the game! Because the making of such a high lvl item costs so much (about 25m if I remember correctly), how much could they sell it for?! Also, if he built up a huge dungeon, he could have a race with his friends of who gets to the trasure room the fastest! There could be a participating fee, so the builder would get some money back from his building project. And the treasure room could have a fine amount of cash in it to make people want to complete the dungeon again! (and pay the fee again  ) Just some my little ideas.. Construction sure has rewards to train for!
  13. There are atleast 2 ways to train this without paying tons of cash; limestone and soft clay. If you don't like the way this skill is, don't train it  Edit; my texts are for everyone who can read them, not directed at you, all. think that and read my post again :) And: Have you calculated how much getting to lvl 99 costs with oaks? then calculate again with teaks and then mahogany. As you can see, getting there with atleast oak takes less than 70m rs cash. That is NOT much, when comparing to skills like prayer and smithing
  14. "anti-inflation" is also known as deflation, I believe? There are people that take this as an advantage, such as people who couldn't buy whips or barrows stuff before, or long-term merchanters who believe in their rares. I myself hope I had waited some more before buying guthans, I could be couple millions richer now.. And with the value of gp rising, just imagine
  15. Used 1-1.4m to get to lvl 55, now I have Ardougne and Canifis portals and a barrows repairing thingy to help my slayer training. After I get a D chain from this dust task, I'll train my construction some more
  16. Isn't marble mined irl? I wonder if mining could be made more profitable :P Those things are very expensive, but if they were cheaper they wouldn't be so much respected.
  17. - Cheaper barrows armor repair - Tele tablets - Portals to nearly all teleportation spots (Varrock, Lumby, Fala etc.) - Free Beer! (and milk..) - New ways to train prayer ... + A huge place for parties! There is a LOT in this skill
  18. May i translate this text to you, cos I happen to have a jagex-english-jagex wordbook right here! In Jagex: "We are also adding some other smaller features to the game later this month, such as clockwork toys for your cats, teleportation tablets, making your own cups of tea and even chairs you can sit down in." In English: "We are also having a huge update to the game later this month; clockwork toys for your cats, teleportation tablets, making your own cups of tea and even chairs you can sit down in. All this becomes available through a new skill called Construction, so it might be a good idea to collect as many teak and mahogany trees as possible!" It all depends on how you look at it  But I really doubt that it'll be tomorrow :?
  19. The biggest mystery of life: How to fit an elephant into a fridge. No idea, only time will tell
  20. After 26 hours, I returned to my macro-kingdom and collected these: All my settings were the same as above, and it had taken 150k out of the chest. That is the amount of 2 days. Also, the resources collected were nearly doubled, but I got 10 less flax and 2 less coal than if it was doubled. I believe that is because on the "2nd day" the approval was just 99% :? Some questions that popped to my mind: 1. With 99% approval I got 2 less coal, if my approval was 98%, would I get 4 less coal? 2. When are the resources collected? I had been away just 26 hours from my last resource collect, yet they had collected resources from 2 days! Are resources collected every 24 hours, or every... yea? 3. How often is it wise to collect my resources? If the loss of approval is 1% per day, and that means 2 less coal and 10 less flax, how long could I be away from my kingdom for it to still be an effective way of getting resources? Weeks? Months? 4. My advisor says that my citizens are content. What other possibilities are there? Can they get angry on me if I don't let them idle? And 5. Where is the best place to spin my 2k flax :wall: btw, those seeds were 3 guam and 1 ranarr :)
  21. it shows ur to lazy to do legends  And to me that shows that you are a *place a very offencive word here* Yes, I have done Legends. Heck, I have completed every quest there is! So plese don't call me lazy. -- Maybe I won't pk with obby cape, but that's because I don't pk in p2p  For combat training in low lvls (before fire cape) obby cape is the best cape to have. That is the purpose of it.
  22. 1 million in coffers, 75k taken. 100% approval. 100% flax, 50% coal. Same info as above, same amounts and all, just different herb seeds. Guam and tarromin for me. 50k to flax = 50k/1250 flax = 40gp/ flax 25k to coal = 25k/273 coal = 91.6gp/coal Very, very profitable
  23. My culinaromancer gloves already show my accomplishments in quests, so why not to have teh best cape in game (before fire cape) And it also shows that I can afford that extra 299k cash 8-)
  24. We have seen many cutscenes in the last few quests, and seeing how much Jagex likes to add them to quests there sure will be more of them. Not only are they nice extra to quests, giving a new angle of view, they are also used to take the stories forward. My question now is, what do YOU think of these cutscenes? When I first time saw a cutscene (In the Lost tribe quest or the Giant Dwarf quest? :\ ) it looked very cool. We have had cutscenes in nearly every single new quest there is, I'm getting a bit bored. So far there are cutscenes atleast in Recipe for Disaster, todays new quest, Dwarven storyline, the Lost tribe quest, and the quest with those strange creatures.. (can't remember the name of the quest :? ) Now that I have seen more of these cutscenes, they don't look so good to me anymore. For example, when people talk, the text above their head is cut weirdly in pieces and is unreadable. I'd prefer just a normal discussion, without odd angles of view, or slow, automatic talking, where I can't even decide what I say/ what my character says. Go ahead, the topic is yours  btw, do you see those cutscenes when using low detail? and is it a cut scene or cutscene? edit: and maxed qp FTW 8-)
