Ali M has done some merchanting on the miscellania/ Etcteteria islands too, those of you who have done the royal trouble quest know that those dwarves bought their equipment from Ali M. I'm pretty sure I've seen his name in other quests and places too, can't remember where though. The desert isn't the only place where there is a huge "Coming Soon"-sign next to it. Myreque-, Regicide-, Gnome-, Dwarf-, Shadow Realm- and slug- storylines and Devious minds also are just waiting to be updated. Can't wait, where is the March behind the scenes already :pray:

When you have played the same game for 6-18 months, you come to realise that you know everything about the game already and the only thing left to do is the updates and the clicking. (read: achieving goals) And when the updates are "bad" they get depressed because they know they will have to wait a week for the next exciting thing to explore. During that week they make their pathetic whining posts about how there already was a topic about this last week or how the community was so much better in rs1 and how there are so many noobs in f2p and how bad the last update was. But please, if you are one of these people; stop it :) we already know what you think, because you already told it last week!

I killed all of them, there is no special thingy after you have 'summoned' them all. drops that I got: jubbly + lobster -> lots of jubbly meat red spider eggs + sardine -> lots of red spider eggs swordfish + chicken -> some feathers :? giant frog legs + cave eel -> lots of cooked cave eel meat unicorn horn + cow hide -> lots of horns feather + eye of a newt -> lots of newt eyes This is a good source of red spider eggs and unicorn horns, buying newt eyes is still easier from taverley/port sarim. If you need cooking xp you could get jubblys, but cave eel and swordfish mutations seemed to be the most useless.. These alsod drop the food storing thingys and tea storing thingys, but those aren't especially good as far as I know. Could be good in agility training, but getting bananas, cakes and sandwiches isn't quite my thing. The quest was fun and had some nice puzzles. It also seems to be attached to the regicide storyline :-k I wonder what those mages are up to next.. Good, interesting update -.-

+ the shantay pass scout had found out that al-kharid and the menaphos/sophanem people don't like each other. This sure was an interesting turn in the 'plot' of rs. Something is going to happen but in the next few weeks, months or years? :| And it can't be anything too dramatic, it's not like we'll see abyssal demons or other 'evil powers' in the middle of Falador any time soon.

That was a hint of this :-X Could've taken months to find this, but now someone just by accident walked with that ring past that very place? How lucky is that? :| Completed the thing, I'd really apreciate if someone could translate those messages I took to the scouts; what do they mean? What are they up to? Who is this general Khazard and what is he? Where is their meeting place? Sequel spotted. Edit: to the next guy that posted: Yes, thank you. But I already knew that. I'd be more interested in knowing if he is an undead necromancer or a semi-god or a mahjarrat or what. We haven't seen too much history about him, he just was there at his fight arena but we never found out how he got there or why he was there. I found it interesting that the sin seer called him an old fart and that he supposedly has lived somewhere in the desert. But do we know anything else?

Players who give stuff back to those who die make the game even easier than it is by now. Where is the challenge if dieing affects you in no way? :-k I have learned from castle wars, that I can call anyone a noob, at any time, for any reason (or no reason at all). And FYI: The hi-alch price of a fire cape is 36k and as far as I have heard from pkers, they have to go pick it up from their pile if they don't want to lose it. It doesn't protect over anything imo :| and ontopic: Playing runescape with a laggy connection is risky and when you go out in your gear you know that the risk is there. So if you don't want to risk your stuff, go bank it. Edit: And I would fake a pic like this because....? If I had shown the item pile, you still could've said I just dropped the items there. But no, you don't need to believe me. I guess so, g maul alchs for 30k. So it does protect over some items. I don't know if he lost the fire cape or not, but I assume he did. But if he had something which alchs for more than 36k + the whip and the plate, he lost it? right? don't feel like testing it right now :-w

I've seen plenty of these. 1) A guy got killed in front of me in the lumbridge swamp caves when his light source went out. 2) A guy got killed under me when I was ranging black demons in taverley dungeon. 3) This was today, and it was quite hilarious. How EMBARRASING is it to get killed by a lvl 53 jogre?! the guy was lvl 101 I don't mind getting free stuff so I haven't returned any of the items I have gotten from these. Don't hate the player if you can't play the game? \

I saw Ardougne from the world map, thought that woah; a city with a mining spot, furnace and an anvil! All 3 close to each other! And when I tried to get past The Gate to train my smithing in Ardougne, it said I'm too noob to enter the p2p areas :| It broke my heart :wall: :cry: And to the whiners: Really. Try to make a good topic these days. Nearly everything has been talked through atleast two times. It happens when you've been at the same fansite forum too long. Only new updates give us something new and fresh to argue about :-$

Which slayer master do you go to usually for tasks? Duradel, but I don't go to him, I use lunars. How long does each task set usually take to do? Around 1.5-2 hours, depending what task it is. Black demons, abyssals and bloodvelds take longer than infernal mages, greater demons and kalphites. What do you do or use to complete your tasks? Cannon, crystal bows, bones to peaches, guthans, robin set, black mask, berserker and archers ring and all the other best available stuff. I could get maxed range attack bonus if I got a 3rd age coif :-k :pray: What is the best drop you've gotten from your slayers tasks? Abyssal whip, abyssal demon head, crawling hand, some good clues and a lot of rune boots + dragon stuff. I've gotten most of my bank through slayer.

When I was doing the forgottable tale - quest, I saw a guy die to a black dwarf. I picked up a blue beret from the ground. The dead guy's friend wanted me to give it back. I didn't. I went on doing the quest, and when I had finished (~10-30 mins later) the dead man's pal was still there. I then sold the beret to him for 36k. I got called an idiot. :cry: :mrgreen: I also half kill black/ greater demons when I'm ranging them if I'm fighting for the training spot. That's mean. :shame:

Death talismans, got 5 of them. Dont need them anywhere but I'm still saving them for a drop party I might need to host one day... :-#

Starting question: Do you need 61 crafting to start the Lunar Diplomacy quest? When a player experiences a bug in Runescape, he does 3 things: 1) He takes as many pictures of it as possible 2) He reports it to Jagex 3) He posts about it to a rs fansite forum. Currently doing the 3rd thing :wink: Today, after I had done my fever spider slayer task, I used the npc contact spell to get a new task. I got 70 suqahs, so I teled to edgeville with my glory and took out the tele runes for the lunar island teleport. I usually do group teles with lunars, just for fun, and so I did now. Like usual, my chat filled with "******* won't let you teleport them" I ran to the bank to take out my cannon, balls and guthans, and all the items I needed to high alch (I only get to do alching when I visit the moonclan island) And then he came. Some abyss runecrafter had had accept aid on and had been teleported to the moonclan island. But this was different. Normally, people who haven't visited the Lunar Island before can't get teleported to the island. Seems that Jagex has changed something else than the granite mining place, fire cape and some interfaces in the last update. Here's the chat we had. I have the bad habit of quoting everything I find weird or funny, especially things that are this weird. :oops: After that task, I went back to Edgeville to try group-teleing again. After shouting "Need help of a lvl 60 crafter or below!" (how weird does it sound? lol) I found some guy who was willing to have a little experiment with me. Well, the first try didn't work too well. The guy had low crafting lvl, so he couldn't have started the lunar diplomacy quest or visited the island before. But he had also read about the ice plateau lurers, so he accused me of luring. =D> After I had told him I wouldn't lure someone to the wild with my robin set on, he accepted to bank all his items and help me out with the test. It worked as I had suspected. A player, who had never been at the island, was now there. He went off soon and talked with the people there -> got teleported to Rellekka. I haven't seen that guy again after that :-k I teled back to Edgeville to test it one more time, because I still needed to take a picture of it. So I got this: Sorry for naming people on this one, but I couldn't have 'proved' it without the hiscores there. So, there it is! The end, and be sure not to abuse this bug! Mission completed, all 3 things done now :

I could try to name some things that have an effect on the economy atm.. a) updates that make the money and resources move: throne of miscellania, 99 capes, new clues, ava's device, granite body (boosted granite leg prices) B) new wave of macroers/ gp farmers c) christmas, it always affects the rare prices somehow d) inflation e) merchanters & scammers f) not so many barrowers, supply of new barrows items isn't as big as it used to be that's to name a few of them.. The rs economy is very complex..

I tested it out on my 197 kalphites task today and got some nice hits: 47, 54, 56, and a 60 :P It's normal hits are strong too, seems that stab attacks hit kalphites often. The special attack occurs about every 2-4 mins and has the chance of hitting anything between 0-100+. Yes, I've seen a pic of 100+ hit with it (black mask+ pray + pot + huge str bonuses+ 99 str + a lot of luck) I'm not sure if it's better than whip in kalphite tasks, but it could deal some great damage on the kq. I'll use it though, because it's great str training, better than d scimmy at least. I like it.

The final battle was easier than killing the dragon in dragon slayer as a noob. Used 2 uthangi kebabs and 1 dose of super def, but wouldn't have needed it :x Nice labyrinth though :)

:shock: What about irl law breaking? If your mate stole a computer from your school, would you report that? "NO, he's my friend" How can you draw the line between two rules and decide that irl trading is good to me, but scamming is bad? Irl scamming (stealing) is bad, but online game pixel selling (stealing) is good to you. And that you can report someone you don't know for irl trading, but not your friend? You value your personal 'gain' (+1 friend for me) over the laws and the system you are living in. Don't know, it sounds weird to me. And yes, I made this post to keep up the discussion. This is one of the most important questions I have thought of today :|

It's a simple question, but are you able to give a simple answer to it? Do you report your friend when he scams your whip? Ofcourse you do, he scammed you and deserves to be banned! He ain't your friend anymore! What about when your friend has found a cool bug and abuses it? Or has just sold his santa for irl cash and now brags about it to you? Do you dare to end your long friendship and report him, even when he hasn't done anything against you? And when you do, do you tell him "Reported!" or just keep it quiet? Recently my good old friend bought himself a new account with irl cash. He didn't tell me that it was bought, but I found it out easily. And yes, I'm 100% sure that it's bought :( He told that it was his old account from 3 years back and now started to play with it. Pretty weird though, that account had 85 slayer when slayer didn't even exist 3 years ago! Is it 'allowed' to report friends? And if your friend reported you and you got ~3 day ban, how would you react? Thx for your answers :)

I don't especially like farming. It's a hassle. Try reading one of those farming guides out there, they are awful! 1. Take these items from bank 2. Go here, do that. If you don't have enough inv space, go back to bank. 3. Go there, do that again. 4. Get more items from bank 5. Get some pineapples for compost 6. remember to pay your farmer to look after your crops 7. buy more sacks and baskets for your crops 8. Go kill some dagannoths so you get more herb seeds. 9. Come back after an hour to do the same again. It's not the same 'take your pickaxe and swing it' method as other skills have. It's a hassle, awful mess and you really don't get anything out of it! Sheesh, if you want some cash from the herbs, why don't you just sell those seeds! You get nearly the same amount of gp and no running around involved! 66 farming here, I used to enjoy farming potatoes until I saw how slow xp it was. Then came construction and nowadays I don't even use the port phasmatys farming spot as I use the kharyll portal in my house. It's much faster than walking and farming from the Port. :-$
