wyverns don't have a magic based attack. the freezing breath is unblockable, so you'd do better wearing prayer boosting gear if you pray, or high melee defence gear. bunyip and food should do it

After three hours of battling against network problems, Perakp finally manages to log in to runescape. where's the //wrist emote

I don't remember skills ever making more money than combat, so I don't recognize any change. Runecrafting, rune mining and chin hunting are still the best three and aren't much worse than slayer, clues, dks, gwd etc. The best moneymakers nowadays are the ones that don't require much time ingame: farming and MTK. I hope so. Time for the skillers to see how much fun they'd have if they stopped skilling.

I don't see I'd need a driver's license any time soon, but I think I'll be forced to get one eventually. The social pressure towards driving is huge: every 18-year-old is expected to get the license. I prefer bikes. I've done a bunch of random activities this week, zogre ranging, armored zombie killing, mith dragons and even 30mins of temple trekking. I only need 5k more crimson charms for 88 summoning, but am clueless on how I'm going to do it. Waterfiends are the last option.

World domination. Honestly, I have no idea. I don't think it's a good idea to have plans two years further from now, because we simply can not know what the world will be like in 2011. I know I'm going to the army and then I'd like to travel, but don't know where I'd go and what I'd study and where after I'm done traveling. Getting kinda bored to Finland so I'd like to see the rest of europe, but then again I don't support aeroplanes #-o

I'm sorry I haven't posted any updates this week. I haven't played much, mostly because of what happened in Kauhajoki on tuesday, and because I had Swedish matriculation examinations on friday and had to spend time preparing for it. Now I'm just waiting for my results; it could take upto two months. :ohnoes: For the record, I turned 18 on the 25th! I haven't yet resigned from the church as I had originally planned, because I think I should talk about it with my parents even if I wouldn't need to. Does it work now? If it doesn't I'll move back to imageshack :( And which images work and which don't? Mith dragons' visage and dfh drop rates are ridiculous. And then one guy in tsg got dfh on first kill and another friend of mine got two visages from them in a week. #-o Atleast they're a fun and easy way of getting charms..

I wouldn't mind if they came more often ;) Bought a new secondhand psp game and been playing it this weekend, and saw Wall-E on friday. It was an epic movie :D But not as good as lion king 1. Apparently the money I made with broad bolts was only to be lost with dropping equipment prices (ZGS -10m, DFS -6m, Full armadyl -15m). :wall: Hopefully pvp worlds take them back to their normal heights.

I find that people are more mature and nicer to talk to in the internet, and runescape goes fine with it. Maybe I wouldn't play runescape if I could chat to all these cool people in "real life".

The beast is very nice as high summoning level isn't required. Haven't gotten any drops in my ~30 kills so far. Bought a zammy spear, a cannon and 1k ruby bolts for it. No luck with mith dragons either. 140k till 90 farming =P~

Beast has a melee attack and a few unblockable attacks that look like magic spells, but are not. Prayers and armor don't help in blocking these attacks. Some people said that praying from magic lowers it's max hit, but I can't agree with that. People who pray mage are hit just as much as I am. The elysian spirit shield would propably be the most efficient thing to have with you. :mrgreen: The black core can be speared, it moves a square backwards and can't heal the beast at that time. In large groups most of the damage done to you is done by the core or one of the multitarget 'spells'. These can be escaped, just like in the quest. Damage done by the core is unblockable, but you can run from it. The core can not be attacked while it jumps from a player to another. It only jumps when there is no one near it. The core shows as a yellow dot on the minimap, but isn't visible if someone stands on it or if it's jumping. It's best to keep an eye on it so you don't accidentally get hit and the beast isn't healed. The beast can be hugged. Use the minimap so you run in circles around the yellow dot, but so he can't attack you. He will "dance" a while, which saves food and gives time to do more damage. The boss can be poisoned. Don't mine for money. If you have to, do pure essence. It's much easier on you because it's one-click, and close to a bank. (yanille) Shooting stars also give good rewards.

how many 99 rangers with dragon arrows would be needed to kill the beast in 5 seconds? ;) good luck finding the most efficient way of killing it.
