  1. I think you're just jealous :P . Well maybe, but to quote yomom above, the flight scene was incredibly lame.
  2. If you have to ask whether or not it is a scam, it probably is.
  3. Oh I love naked monopoly. Wait, what?
  4. Actually Claire's story did kind of seem lame to me. She is usually one that I am looking forward to, but it was excruciating in this last episode.
  5. There's a time limit? Where is it?
  6. The page loads inbetween every level is [bleep]ing annoying. They just want you to get that 5 seconds of advertising injected into your brain. Oh and it gets pretty easy once you figure out a few tricks of the trade. EDIT: Made it to 400, and then got bored and quit. They don't get any harder.
  7. Crowd: We are all individuals! Person: I'm not!
  8. *giggles* Damnit!
  9. LOL, noted... Also it's Blu-ray, not Blueray (or abbreviated BD for Blue-ray Disc) :P .
  10. Well if Wikipedia is to be believed, you are right about HD-DVDs being region free. That is enough to make my decision, if I decided to go ahead before the "war" is decided.
  11. I thought HD DVDs had regions, and I was pretty sure Blu-Ray is what the adult industry went with. It is not making nearly the amount of difference it normally would though, the Internet is taking that market share. HD-DVD players are cheaper at the moment, which will probably mean they will win. The cheap $300 (or was it $200?) didn't make as much a difference as it was supposed to either though. I think a lot of people are like me, just waiting it out.
  12. Nope, because the younger version of yourself is just one from a different dimension that's a few years behind ours  . So all this effort is futile, 'cause it'd change that dimension's version of us, not this one's \ . Well if it works like that then I might tell myself something crazy, just for the lulz. You know, like the apocalypse happens due to the Y2K bug or something, and I was one of the few survivors.
  13. Well, throughout my whole life a future me has never visited and gave me advice. So if I did that, then it would change the time line and present me wouldn't exist anymore. And I don't want to not exist anymore, even at the expensive of giving valuable knowledge to an alternate me.
  14. It's a crapshoot either way you go at the moment. I don't have the money to waste on a format that doesn't win, so I have to stick to DVDs for now. Sticking to DVDs is also kind of a crapshoot, since they wont be made much longer after the new formats go popular.

Oldest riddle in the book. Anyways, this is the wrong forum for this.
  16. Horrible Game. I'd get Metroid Prime Corruption 3 It owns. Personal preference. Now the question is are you calling horrible on first hand experience or just what someone says in a review? Firsthand experience, and I can back him up on that. I would say Metroid as well. And then of course SSBB. I liked Red Steel. I actually got as far into that as I did into Zelda. Red Steel actually used the wiimote to aim whereas Zelda used the wiimote horribly.
  17. I just watched A Bout de Souffle not too long ago. Didn't have the Criterion version however. I just ordered Jericho season 1.
  18. You can get arrested for keeping that amount of money if you just found it. At least someone did earlier this week.
  19. Another random news story. Awesome.
  20. Sorry about that, the only thing I have read (and remembered) was Newton's theory of gravity. The way my professor was talking about just lead me to assume the stuff that I mentioned, but we never talked about the "speed of gravity." We never went further than Newton's theories when dealing with gravity either. I've also mentioned Newton throughout all of this, but now that I think about it, it might have been someone else. Who made the F~(m1xm2)/(d^2) proportion? Well, first it's F=G(m1*m2)/d^2, not sure if that's a typo or not. G is the universal gravitational constant, 6.636*10^-11. The equation was formulated by Newton, while the G constant was calculated by Henry Cavendish (after Newton had died). That's why I used the ~ instead of the = sign. I was just pointing out the proportion.

  22. FAIL I couldn't tell if you were being sarcastic or not, if you were then I apologize.
  23. You are talking about the acceleration due to gravity of an object in free fall above earth. It doesn't have anything to do with the speed of gravity at all, just the acceleration of objects.
  24. I hope you are being sarcastic. Really, think about what you are saying.
  25. Yes. Here's the cheap way out of explaining it, Wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Speed_of_gravity Yeah, apparently we just learned about the Newton version of gravity in school. I drew the example myself, which is wrong. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gravitational_waves That is the page I was reading. Apparently gravitational waves haven't directly been detected yet. Also apparently that is what Einstein@home is trying to do, which is my distributed computing project of choice. So I was helping prove gravitational waves but wasn't even aware they existed :D .
