  1. Hmm, may want to do some sort of spoiler warnings here. But if we do, the whole topic would be like that and it could get messy. Maybe best the way you have it. You're probably right with Planet of the Apes, but who knows. I don't know if an official explanation is out or not.
  2. True, but that would then be a case of accidental manslaughter with a man sausage.

Yeah, the ending kind of sucked. It was cool when I first saw it in theaters, because I was younger then.
  4. What does war have to do with incest? Your subjective view is that incest is bad, my subjective view as that it isn't. Your anti-incest morals will not cause death, and my anti-anti-incest morals will also not cause death.
  5. Please, don't run, don't burn off that excess fat you've built up from years of gorging yourself on the labours of the repressed bourgeoisie. You'll burn longer if you don't :P I think you mean repressed proletariat :P .

I thought of a few more. Dawn of the Dead, both old and new are awesome. Planet of the Apes, I liked both, but the ending of the original is better. Mr. Deeds Goes to Town, remaked with Adam Sandler as just Mr. Deeds. This is the only one so far that I think the remake sucks. The first one was pretentious at times but was good.

Had trouble thinking of them at first, I see a few I would list now though. I enjoyed the remake of War of the Worlds. I also enjoyed the first one though too. King Kong I actually enjoyed the first one (1933) more than the newest one (2005?). I did like the new one, just the first one was [bleep]ing awesome. The Chocolate Factory movies I enjoyed both a lot also. I like Tim Burton's style, so it was enjoyable. The first one was also awesome. So I guess I am 3 for 3 with liking the remakes, 2 about the same as the original and 1 slightly less. Oh I thought of one more. The Manchurian Candidate films. Both are great. I might go with the newer one over the older one, but it's so close I'd just say I like them the same. Here is a list of remakes: Wikipedia's list. Just glancing at it I see 1984 on there, I saw one of the versions, but it sucked. I wouldn't mind seeing a new version of it.
  8. Ah yes, I forgot about location. Around here it is a bit cheaper to live, but of course you get paid less also.
  9. Do you still dig graves? Or am I thinking of someone else? For some reason I quite fancy doing it - Would the hours be suitable for a student? (My lectures are like 11am-5pm max) Would you recommend it? Yep, that's me. I don't think your hours would work very well though. The actual funerals take place usually between 11:00 and 2:00. You can do the digging anytime you want though. Some cemeteries require you to have a heavy equipment license to operate the machinery, I work at a smaller one so I don't need one. The people who did the graves are usually the people who handle the setup, and bury the vault after the ceremony. So you would have to be there between 11 and 2. I would recommend it if you could do it during the summer. I don't know where you live, but in the winter here in SE Indiana the job is horrible. In the summer it's great :D . You do get odd looks from people when you tell them what you do though, it was a little disgruntling at first but now it's kind of cool :P .
  10. I think you mean Across the Universe :D .
  11. I'm 20 working a full time manual labour job and I only make $8.25 an hour, and I am looking for a new job right now, but none are paying much more. So yeah, $9 an hour might be having your expectations too high.
  12. It's not unfair that you aren't allowed to do anything but schoolwork on government funded computers for learning. If you get done ahead of time, read a book or something.
  13. It isn't unfair. It's a school computer, you don't have a right to play games on it. If they want to give out that privilege they can, but if they don't you aren't missing anything, you just are gaining nothing.
  14. Most schools have anti-plagiarism software of some kind now.
  15. The serious posts so far have covered everything available to you already. Either ask your parents for the money or get a job. There really aren't any other options.
  16. You are in school, you are under their rules. If they don't want you to play games after you get your work done, then they are perfectly in their rights to stop you. I see no problem with it.
  17. Resident Evil, Resident Evil: Apocalypse, and Resident Evil: Extinction - Definitely not great movies. I enjoy them though. Milla Jovovich is hot in all of them, and there is usually another girl that is also hot (1. Michelle Rodriguez, 2. Sienna Guillory, 3. Ali Larter). Would definitely not be on the top of a zombie movie list, but if you do like zombie movies they are worth a watch.
  18. Nope. But Milla isn't going to do anymore. Ali Larter said she would do another one.
  19. All I can say is lol  .
  20. I just got back from it. I would say better than the second one, but this is the first time I saw this one and I have seen the second a few times. None of them are really all that great of movies, but I enjoy them. Also, Milla Jovovich is hot as hell.
  21. Eh, killed about thirty then got bored. Also, one of the collision detectors on one of the enemies disappeared, making him unkillable. The bullets just went right through him.
  22. Yeah.. pretty sure lolcats (and all the slang "win," "epic," "fail," etc.) came from 4chan. Hope that's not against the rules... :P ofc that shatters rules 1 and 2. but nobody really cares about that anymore. They ceased being important a while ago, now everyone knows about it anyhow.
  23. uh.. the logic is a bit flawed: By that reasoning it's completely fine to take advantage of say native tribes, because we are the dominant culture. "As long as we are beinifiting I don't really see a problem. Its not something you can say is right or wrong, it just sort of is." =P Slavery of black people is also fine according to your reasoning, because we are the dominant race and we can also treat women as we please, because we are the dominant gender. It just sort of is.... It's not flawed, you're reasoning is incorrect. He said dominate species, and native tribes, or black people during the slavery period are all the same species as us. Race or gender has nothing to do with it.
  24. AoM

    indy500fan replied to fakeitormakeit's topic in Off-Topic
That's what I was going to say, then decided not to. "Help with AoM" 1. Buy AoK 2. Install AoK 3. Forget about AoM 4. ? 5. Profit!
  25. Can't tell you how glad I am someone other than me wondered. I don't play Counter Strike so I just automatically assumed css :D .
