What would be the point of a new topic or new forums? The topic has slowed down enough already (well, amount of posts haven't but actual discussions have).

I guess I am getting a little more used to then generic crap in it, so it's getting better. Still not great though.

You know they've released 4 new Futurama movies + made new seasons of the films? I thought there was only 3 movies? Bender's Big Score, Beast With a Billion Backs and some other that I forget. There were four. You listed the first two, Bender's Game is the third and Into the Wild Green Yonder is the fourth.

The ultra acrobatics looked a bit odd too I guess, it works pretty well in comics but didn't translate well on screen.

Gambit was all wrong, really... That is about the only thing that bothered me. But the end was pretty good. I was wondering if he would make an appearance. What was wrong with Gambit? They didn't really expand on the "charm" aspect but I thought he was ok. They [bleep]ed up Deadpool horribly though. Taking away his mouth is blasphemy to the character. Not doing the cancer and Weapon X reject backstory and instead making him Weapon XI made the character much less interesting, but understandable. Giving him non-technological based body-sliding, Cyclops' eyes and blades in his arms is also understandable, even if I don't like it. I realize the characters aren't the same ones as in the comics, but you can't take away the mouth from The Merc with a Mouth.

While it's true that most of the people mentioned here are from the "west" there are good arguments for them being the smartest. But there are so many different kinds of smart that I wouldn't pick one person and say he/she is the smartest.

Fanboys - Finally! After three years of waiting I have finally been able to see it. I remember first planning on seeing it in November of 2007, the first release date that was announced. Waited over a year for that and then it kind of dropped off the radar. Anyways I really liked it. Tons of Star Wars references, cameos and just general nerdiness. Plus: Kristen Bell in a Princess Leia slave outfit

Say drugs are never good "period" is as bad as promoting drug use when not necessary. I get where you are coming from, people take drugs for way too many things now and just eating healthier and exercise would fix a lot of problems. But there are a lot of ailments that can't be fixed by even the healthiest of lifestyles.

I thought the thread was just a misspelling of Cannes, about the film festival. Then the second thing that popped in my head were actual canes.

Burning fossil fuels in an electric plant is much more efficient than burning them in a small internal combustion engine, not to mention the last mile costs of filling individual gas stations. Also electric/hybrid cars use energy more efficiently because they can capture energy from decelerations. Also electricity doesn't have to come from burning fossil fuels, alternative energy sources are becoming more common all the time.

Yep I think Faraday was right the first time, and I think he realized that when he was on the ground with a bullet in his chest and his mom standing over him. I am sad since he is one of my favourite characters, but it was an interesting way to die.

I didn't really expect Ali Larter's character to die from going full ice crystal and shattering anyways, so that wasn't much of a surprise. Why they thought keeping Sylar alive in any way shape or form is a good idea is beyond me. Don't they think he might get a little suspicious the next time he gets a paper cut and it heals right away? Also couldn't they bring Nathan back with Claire's blood? He wasn't dead for long.

There are decent amount of people here that have been around for a while, a lot of us quit playing RS years before some in this topic probably even heard of it. I also never really drank illegally, and that means waiting until 21 here in the US.

Guinness isn't really all that cheap, but most people around here drink Busch Light or Bud Light so that's what I compare it to. They mostly want the cheapest they can get, and I am not sure why. So when I first started drinking I would get some of that and hated it, tasted kind of like piss and water. So when I started to really drink I went with vodka and rum and the like. But now that I don't do that anymore, I can really appreciate a good cold beer in the sun like you said. I actually prefer beer over other alcohol now.

I just came in this topic to see if that pic was there yet, since the last time I checked it wasn't. Weird coincidence.

I used to go with Admiral Nelson's vanilla rum. It was 80 proof but didn't taste like it at all, it tasted just like vanilla coke when mixed. So that caused me to get a little more drunk than usual and make an [wagon] out of my self. So now I just use any sort of spiced rum, doesn't taste quite as good but that makes it easier to drink less. Spiced rum is a little more mixable also, vanilla rum pretty much just goes with coke in my opinion. Spiced rum you can put with any sort of fruit juice pretty well, so it should go with your mango juice if you get that often.

I've always been a fan of rum and coke, it's pretty easy to get drunk off though so I don't drink it much anymore. Now I just stick to drinking Guinness. Irish car bombs (Guinness + drop a shot of Irish cream in it and chug) are good if you can chug really easily, I like drinking slow though so I don't do that often.

Death Proof is pretty good, but not for everyone. I've seen all of Tarantino's movies and the only one I didn't really like was Jackie Brown. It was just ok. Inglorious Basterds I haven't really looked at too much because I don't like spoilers (they always give away stuff in the trailers).

I'm sure there are different ways to gut a fish, but this is how I remember doing it: 1. Hit this fish in the head with blunt object to knock it out 2. Cut off the fishes head (my dad skips step one and starts here) 3. Slice the belly from front to back 4. Spray the guts out with a hose 5. De-scale the fish (scrape knife against the grain, watch your eyes)

I am assuming his new shapeshifting ability is what made him immune to the knife in back of brain killing blow. His brain could be all shifted around and the spot isn't in the same place.
