  1. I don't see why they didn't take the kid to the hospital in the first place if a paramedic recommended it. Sure in this case it turned out he didn't need any special medical help, but what if he suffered some sort of brain damage from the injury?
  2. LOL! I have used an antivirus/firewall/spyware protector program two separate times since I first started the Internet in 1995. First time was around 1996, when it Norton killed a computer. Second time was about three years ago, when I first had high speed and I thought I needed it. Lasted about 3 weeks before I got rid of it. I haven't had any problems with being "hacked" since then. I don't see how you talk about getting your "facts" from a good source, and say something like what I bolded in your post in the same post.

If you like the first season (only 5 episodes if I remember correctly) then you should like the rest. If you didn't like them, then you are weird :D . You can tell it is a 1990s TV series, but that doesn't make an impact on the comedic value.
  4. It really depends on the distance you are away from the TV and the size. Also if you have everything set up correctly. Some people will buy an HDTV, sign up for HD cable channels, and then hook up the box to the TV with A/V cables, making the entire thing useless to have in HD. If everything is right though there is a noticeable difference between SD and HD.
  5. That's not really all that true. I bought a Wii around 1 year ago, and I have only bought one game for it, about 4 months ago. Although it's not exactly the same thing because I didn't buy the Wii for the other stuff.
  6. "My So-Called Life" - Definitely not my cup of tea. Friend told me to watch it, so I did. A young Claire Danes is the lead, which is a big reason why I watched more than 5 minutes of it. Actually I ended up watching all of it, just because of her. Also a younger Jared Leto is in it, still he was a 23 year old playing a highschooler. Claire Danes was only 12 or 13 during the pilot.
  7. They do, but it is expensive. They have to pay for the licensing for both formats.

    Yep.
  9. http://www.indievolume.com/ So would this program not work? EDIT: Having not being able to find any other alternative, I decided to give IndieVolume a try, and it didn't work.
  10. http://gizmodo.com/341983/hd-dvd-really ... only-party http://www.engadget.com/2008/01/07/para ... -dvd-door/ Both are reported as possibly inaccurate on digg though.

Yep, it is absolutely great. I may say it is the greatest sitcom ever. Not my favourite, and not the funniest, but there is just something about it that makes it epic.
  12. I don't see the point in adding mint to chocolate. I do however seeing the point in adding nuts to chocolate.
  13. In the HD-DVD vs. Blu-Ray war my favourite format is DVDrip.XviD.acc.avi :D .
  14. EDIT: This was my volume control topic, didn't think I needed to make another topic for a different question. Plus I am still looking for the volume control program, if anyone knows of one. [hide=Original topic]Anyone know of a free/open source program that does this in Windows XP? I know Vista has it, but that is not an option. After searching for an application IndieVolume is pretty much all I could find, but it costs money and I don't need it enough to spend anything.[/hide] I want to save an entire topic to my hard drive. Well, mostly just the author of the post, post date, and then the actual post. The topic I want to do this for is the "What movies did you last see" topic in the M&M forums, since it has every single movie I have seen in the past two years in it. If anything should ever happen to these forums (lets hope not), I would not want to lose all the information there. Plus, I would like to be able to organize by post author and then title. I can do all that manually though. Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions about how to go about doing this.
  15. I can put on a band-aid. If you need much more than that with me around then you are SOL. If it was an emergency and there was no other option than me fixing it with a first aid kit, I might be able to figure something out.
  16. The bubonic plague.
  17. Apparently digg users are on the Blu-ray bandwagon, so I got a lot of propaganda from there that may or may not be true, but some were saying that Universal decided to go both formats. EDIT: More info. This link says New Line decided to switch to Blu-Ray, but that Universal is still up in the air.
  18. Still is kind of up in the air, but Blu-ray looks like it has a better chance. Here is a link to a pie graph with each studio, how big of market share they have, and what format they chose.
  19. I never skip songs.
  20. Yeah I like the rotoscoping effect. Renaissance came out last year or the year before and it uses the same effect, just everything is in black and white. Haven't got to see it yet. Juno - I like Ellen Page, Michael Cera, and Jason Bateman a lot. I've also heard that this was one of the best movies of the year. So I had really really high hopes for this movie, which may have been why after seeing it I was a little disappointed. Of course it was great, it just wasn't really great. No Country for Old Men - I have no idea why but I didn't know this was a Coen brother's film. Found out when I saw the credits. It makes sense now though, a lot of people really like Coens' films and I generally think they are good but nothing great. I don't know why this is #21 on IMDb, it just doesn't seem like it would be among those other movies. Yesterday when I checked it was #19 though, so I guess it might go down a bit.
  21. I used to like watching them all the time. After seeing the every episode around 5 times I stopped watching it. Haven't seen an episode in 2 years probably, maybe I should check out the movie.
  22. http://www.nekogames.jp/mt/2008/01/cursor10.html Play around the first play through, the second or third play through you should be able to figure everything out.
  23. Why the hell do you people keep on quoting pictures? You only need to see the picture once. Put it in some frakking hide tags if you have to have it in there. 71 pages of this and it has been mentioned 20 times so far. They should just start handing out bans if people are too stupid to read the rules.
  24. The Ten - I first heard of this movie a while ago, probably while looking at Jessica Alba's IMDb page. Just got around to seeing it though. It is ten stories each about one of the Ten Commandments. For some reason I thought it was going to be a serious movie, even after seeing who was acting in it. Anyways it was definitely a comedy. A few funny parts but the movie is pretty bad. It's really weird, which is why I liked it so much.
  25. Received Lost Season 3 today :D .
