Watchmen
The trailer looked great, seems like everyone on the comic book websites also agree. I was a little worried about how they would be doing Dr. Manhattan but it looks good to me :D . Still not coming out until March 2009 though so you don't want to get too excited too early. I was planning on re-reading the graphic novel sometime but I want to wait closer to when the movie comes out. For those also waiting they are reprinting Absolute Watchmen for November 12th this year.

an internet musical miniseries experiment: Dr. Horrible!
I remember seeing a picture on a bio or something that said he could lift 3000 pounds. Can't find it anywhere now though. Oh and I'd have to say my favourite song is the freeze ray one :D .

KoTOR MMO officialy anounced! Lead by Bioware
If I still played MMOs this would be fantastic news. Since I don't however I would prefer KOTOR III rather than this.

What movie(s) did you last see?
Doomsday - It would have been good if it wasn't so [bleep]ing stupid.

an internet musical miniseries experiment: Dr. Horrible!
Act II came out today, and it was just as great as the first one, not that anyone should expect anything less from that team.

Attention all Offtopic Users...Project Offtopic is Underway
I think afraid to set foot in OT isn't a very good explanation. As you may know I don't go outside of OT and it's subforums, ever. OT is my home, and usually I check around 75% of the topics and reply in about 25%. Just last week I was down to checking two topics and posting in neither. We aren't scared to come here, just once we get here we walk right back out the door.

What tv show are you watching right now?
You can post TV series in the "what movie you last saw" topic.

an internet musical miniseries experiment: Dr. Horrible!
So what did everyone think of Act I? Didn't really know what to expect, but I am very happy with it. It's definitely a little different looking at everything from the villain's point of view. There were technically problems yesterday, basically the server was raped by the amount of people trying to go there. No idea why that wasn't planned for. Anyways I ended up downloading it off bit-torrent, if you had to do that also make sure to check out the official site today (which is running fine) and just play Act I in the background or something so the viewership count is high.

What movie(s) did you last see?
The Mutant Chronicles - If you like steampunk, you will love this movie. Also pretty good if you are just looking for an action sci-fi flick. EDIT: I should mention though that my opinion on this was skewed a ton because I love those sort of storylines. Movie-wise it probably would not be considered to highly. It was low budget and you can tell it was, and it is a movie that needed to not be low budget. A few known actors/actresses in it (you'll recognize two off the bat if you just saw Hellboy II) but there is nothing to write home about there either. The more I think of it I am thinking that only people like me will really like this movie. EDIT2: The Rocker - Oh hell yeah, another advanced screening. This one is actually advanced too, it doesn't come out for another month. Having first heard about this movie at noon today, I didn't really have time to think about it before seeing it. I knew nothing about it, and was judging everything entirely on the picture on the ticket, which was of Rainn Wilson holding a guitar in his underwear. Yeah, pretty much expected a not all that great comedy. Who knows, maybe it wasn't all that great but I was too busy laughing to notice. Although once again a great movie experience was ruined by stupid fat [bleep]s who wouldn't shut up the entire movie sitting next to me. Goddamn that was annoying.

Of course people lie about their age. The thing is, once they say they're 13+ TIF is no longer responsible for them since they said they were of te agreed age. Porn sites do the same thing. Once you say you're 18 they give you access to the content and they're not responsible if you're not actually 18. Which is a good point if all TIF is worried about are their legal obligations and not actually about the kids.

A few people were saying that since you have to be 13+ to join that anything PG-13 should be ok, which in theory would be fine but really isn't. The 13+ to join option is pretty much laughable, I can't tell you how many times I lied on those age things. I am sure it wouldn't stop anyone, so that pretty much shows that we shouldn't even allow PG-13 topics here. The masturbation topic version 1 (before the forum reboot) was what I checked, never bothered with the new one but the point is it was definitely worse than PG-13 at times anyways.

Been in my bookmarks for a while, being a huge fan of Whedon I am definitely looking forward to it.

Star Wars: The Famous Legacy
You go to different worlds and talk to NPCs, it's a single player game. Oh and if you have a dual-core or multi-core processor of any kind it will probably say it. Also there are work arounds last time I checked, I didn't get any of them to work though.
-
Star Wars: The Famous Legacy
If you have a dual core processor neither of them work, which sucks hardcore.

What movie(s) did you last see?
Hellboy II: The Golden Army - Oh hell yeah, my second movie I've been able to see an advanced screening of! It was great of course, can't expect any less than great when Guillermo del Toro is behind it. The only bad part was once again a bad theater experience, who the hell brings a baby to see a movie? God damn I wanted to punch those parents in the [bleep]ing face.

Guess The Movie
Well if it's a movie that had the best actor Oscar between 1995-1997 it's one of three movies, but I haven't seen any of them so I don't really know.

It's Always Sunny in Philly
I didn't care for him either. Doesn't bother me as much anymore though.

Americans Only
This is different than tv-links. That was illegal, Hulu is not. However you do have to watch advertisements on Hulu. OK, so maybe in effect it is the same. But Hulu is much better quality too.
-
It's Always Sunny in Philly
Better than Arrested Development? That's impossible. But yeah, it is a pretty funny show. I thought the low point of the series was season 2, season 3 definitely picked it back up though.
-
Americans Only
I got an invite to Hulu for the closed beta back in October. It didn't offer all that much then, but it still was great. I've watched crap loads of stuff on it so far, including a movie last night (Bring it On, don't ask why). A lot of the stuff added now also has a high res setting of 480p available, which is good enough for me. Sadly still US only though.

Post your music collection.
Making you cry because everyone has more music than you (somehow I doubt) or because it's a pointless thread where people show how much music they have stolen? I think it's the latter. Anyways Daan you'll be happy to know I have 62gigs ~14,000 songs and I haven't heard half of them, and there are a great many I will probably never listen too. :D .

Guess The Movie
That's why I thought the 3 guesses/24 hours whichever comes first rule should be added. I was going to go again but had no clue for any of them :( .

Wall-E
Yes, it was awesome. Won't say anything so I don't spoil it, but there was a lot in there that kids and even young adults won't get. Not talking about jokes either, I'm talking about socio-economic commentary.
