What would you do without the internet?
I would have a lot of problems if the Internet disappeared now, if it was never here I would be OK probably. Most of my hobbies rely on the Internet (because of cost) and if the Internet wasn't here I probably wouldn't be nearly as involved.

What would you do without the internet?
I had it also, since 95 or 96. Just used it for emailing my sister mostly.

elder scrolls IV : OBLIVION
Mods. And the ability to fix quests which aren't progressing :P Yep, patches for bug fixes is the main reason. A lot of people would also say fixing the fighting system and leveling "bugs" (they aren't great). I didn't get into a lot of mods but that is definitely another good reason. Having the 10-15 Unique Landscapes mods really changes exploring, makes it more interesting.

Is there really a #1 antivirus/spyware remover?
Peer-to-Peer is very unsafe. You call Limewire safe? Some torrents maybe but not stuff like Limewire. Since I've last formatted my computer I have downloaded 1.3 terrabytes of stuff via bittorrent, no viruses. I have no anti virus software, no spyware software, no firewall (except for the default on my router which any self respecting hacker would probably be able to get through in seconds). If you know what you are downloading, you will be OK.

Cloverfield Discussion Thread: Warning! Contains Spoilers!!!
Ironman Hancock Fanboys Indy 4 Incredible Hulk Get Smart Wall-E Hellboy 2 (meh) The Dark Knight Pineapple Express Those are the ones off the top of my head that I am going to try to see, in addition to two you mentioned of course. I hope Cloverfield doesn't disappoint. When I first saw the trailer/teaser a while ago I was very interested. Due to the obscurity of the trailer, I figured going into the movie knowing the least possible would be the best, which is why I stayed away from this topic for so long. Don't want to see any spoilers that were leaked :D . I've seen the picture of the monster everywhere though, which was really annoying when trying to not see anything before the movie.

saddest movie ever
If we start moving into TV, then I have a lot more to add :D .

What movie(s) did you last see?
"Jack of All Trades" - It's a TV show about an American spy played by Bruce Campbell ind 1801. That should tell you pretty much exactly how it is/if you would like it. After all 22 episodes I only laughed a few times, but the rest was enjoyable.

I'd probably waste my time just as much, just in a different way.

elder scrolls IV : OBLIVION
Since you said you rented it I'm assuming you got it on the 360, which means you already made two mistakes. You got it on the 360 rather than the PC, and it is better on the PC, and then you rented it, and 5 days or whatever isn't nearly long enough. I guess you can get the feel of the game though to decide whether or not you want to by it. Here is a first time player guide, it might have some good info in it. It says at the beginning though that the best way to learn is just to play, which is what I agree with. When you first get out of the sewers the best thing to do would probably go into the Imperial City and just explore. I think the first thing I did was go to the west side of the island, and go over the bridge to a little village on the shore called Weye. Talk to a guy there and you can get a quest to get fish scales, the reward is a water breathing ring so if you aren't Argonian then it comes in really helpful.

Your Playlist
I don't know if it is spam or not, it just isn't a plausible topic. Many people have hundreds or thousands of different bands on their computer, and it would just be tons of lists no one would read.

What movie(s) did you last see?
Charlie Wilson's War - It was good, I could see some people being bored while watching it though. It also preaches a message that you may not agree with. I do like seeing Amy Adams in something else though :P . Across the Universe - If you don't like the Beatles songs, you most likely wont be all that interested in this. If you do like the Beatles, you may not like this because the songs aren't nearly as good as the originals. I like the Beatles, and I thought the movie was OK. Not interesting enough to watch it again though.

What shows should/shouldn't have been cancelled/ended?
Firefly, Arrested Development and Sons & Daughters are three that had no business being canceled. Not counting stuff that was canceled but now is back (Family Guy, Futurama, Jericho) Some others that I would like to see more of, but were canceled understandably: The 4400, Veronica Mars, Drive, Dark Angel, The Winner, The Class. Only one that I think should be canceled is 24, it had a decent run and should start working on finishing up. Make a really good season, that is different than the others (rather than saying this season is different, then giving us the same stuff) and go out with a bang. EDIT: Also wanted to point out Scrubs isn't canceled. According to my source it starts up again January 24th.

Ordered and received. CD's and DVD's.
Region 1 (USA) DVDs have the miniseries included in season 1 (not sure about region 2). Region 2 DVDs have season 2 altogether. Unless you aren't buying region 1 or 2 solely, you bought at least one more set than you needed to. It's an awesome show though so it is worth it :D .

Stardust
That's what I thought was going on, but wasn't sure because there was a small part with dust in it. :D It's more of a fun movie, like The Princess Bride.

Music Downloader
Yeah Limewire isn't legal. Back when I last used it years ago it didn't automatically download cover art either. Don't know if that changed at some point.

Best Tower Defence you know
http://turretdefensegames.com/ That's a list of most of them, in no particular order. If you know of one not on there, you could use the suggestion link at the bottom. I've found that I suck at these games so I don't really play them all that much.

Blu-ray or HD-DVD?
Yeah, you pretty much are completely wrong. Universal confirmed today they are no longer HD-DVD exclusive. This is pretty much the end of the game as far as HD-DVD in the movie business. They are already doing damage control by stating that HD-DVD has a place in data backup so they are trying to stay relevant.

Stardust
I don't remember anything about dust, except one scene. I don't think it does anything, it's not a part of the story. The story was basically the love story.

Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles
John Conner I think is in High School in this one. Which basically means it is out of continuity with the third movie, but the third movie is out of continuity with the first two, however this show is also still out of continuity with the first two. I am going to watch it of course, mostly for Summer Glau.

Finals Exams - Your experiences/strategies?
If you normally study you should probably just go ahead and study normally. I never study, so I didn't for finals and was fine. The exemption was my geometry class final, which I failed horribly. Couldn't remember any of the proofs.

Champion Your Band 4 - Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds by How2PK
I don't pay attention to music threads most of the time. I didn't check out the other 3 stickies either. Accidentally clicked on this one, but I'll go ahead and check out the songs. EDIT: Listened to From Her To Eternity (live at the Paradiso) and Tupelo (from the album The Firstborn is Dead): Not my style of music, it is hard to describe what it is like you said in your explanation. Also wanted to mention the second link from the first album isn't there anymore. Listening to Hey Joe now, which I actually really do enjoy. The harmonica in it is great. Also like the stand up bass. EDIT2: The Carny sounds like a Doors song. I like it. Plus one of the lines of the song mentions a "murder of crows" which is a term I really like. It's actually the correct term for a collection of crows, like saying a "flock of geese" or a "herd of sheep". The Mercy Seat was good. Might have to check out Cash's cover then also. The Weeping Song is reminding me a little bit of the The Doors again. Not as much as The Carny, but still it has that feeling. I'm not watching the videos much, I did watch this one though, it is a little odd. EDIT3: Straight to you sounds like a Doors song again. I am going to stop mentioning that, since I think it is mostly just his voice that reminds me. You can definitely tell the songs have been getting "lighter" from the beginning. I'm going to go with they are getting better also. The first two I didn't really care for, but I've liked the rest. Have to finish listening to them later however.

How do you arrange your desktop?
I don't have any icons on my desktop, except if it something temporary like a "new folder".

What movie(s) did you last see?
Plus it has Mary Elizabeth Winstead in it :D . "Lost" season 3 - Really excited about season 4 starting January 31st. Figured I'd rewatch this season and be ready for it. It's a great show :D . "Sons & Daughters" - Still haven't found episode 11 (the last) anywhere, did manage to find 9 and 10 finally. Figured I'd just rewatch the whole series since it is so short. It is hilarious, I have no idea why it was canceled. Although I don't understand why a lot of programs are canceled. EDIT: Just found and watched the 11th, which means I have seen all the ones that were aired. Supposedly there are two more out there. Good Luck Chuck - I knew it was going to be bad, didn't really realize it was going to be this bad though. Not even Jessica Alba can make this movie watchable. King of California - Another movie from the list of "19 best movies in 2007 that no one saw". Once again I am very pleased. It was great.

Is there really a #1 antivirus/spyware remover?
DeepFreeze is really annoying. I just started an internship with a local set of schools working in their IT department. We have 1,200 computers, and they all have DeepFreeze on them. Anyways whenever you want to make changes you have to "thaw" and then restart the computer. Then after you are done you have to "freeze" again and restart again. For user level stuff, such as saving a word file to the computer, there is a "thawed" partition of the hard drive.

saddest movie ever
I take it you've never seen Punch Drunk Love, Spanglish or Reign Over Me. You'd take him seriously as an actor if you've seen any of those.
