Iowa/New Hampshire Caucus
He reminds me of the prime minister in V for Vendetta. That is also the answer to Bari's question about why I am not happy he won, along with the other stuff mentioned in this thread. The guy is a religious nut job. I don't really care a lot for any of the candidates that have a chance of winning this year. Ron Paul for Republicans or Dennis Kunich for Democrats are the only two I would really vote for. I probably wont end up voting in November, unless it looks like Huckabee has a chance of winning in which case I will vote against him (unless it's Clinton).

I killed myself
I had a dream last night that I went to Taco Bell and they charged me $13 for a taco, a burrito and an enchirito, then it took 5 minutes for me to explain why that was ridiculous. Needless to say I ended up eating Chinese today rather than Taco Bell.

Iowa/New Hampshire Caucus
Glad Obama won for the Democrats. Not happy about Huckabee winning Republicans.

What do you have in you music, DVD, video games collection?
Definitely should go in the respective forums. M&M and VG. We already had one recently in VG I think, could use a new one in M&M I suppose.

A psychological decision
:-s [radius, not diameter dude] Radius is just half of what diameter is. Since its a hemispherical room, go figure. Yes, he is saying it would still be twice as tall as you, because the radius is twice your height. If the diameter was twice your height the room would be as tall as you in the exact center and no where else. But the diameter is four times your height, since the radius is twice your height.

I'm not going to use, so here you go.
That's a penny short of the discount :-w The other one is 2 pennies short :D . Uh, the other one is two pennies short of being six dollars over the discount threshold. There is an automatic $6 discount, the final price was $99.98.

What movie(s) did you last see?
Ride with the Devil - What you would expect from a Civil War movie. Nothing new here. Dial M for Murder - It's Hitchcock, of course it is going to be awesome. First time I've seen this one also. Plus it has Grace Kelly in it, one of the most beautiful women ever. The Apartment - Was planning on watching this on New Years. I know only about 5 minutes of the movie is about New Years, still it's the only one I could think of. Doesn't matter anyhow, since I forgot to watch it then. I decided to watch it today just because it is a great movie.

A psychological decision
Alright, one last question. When do you have to ask for the person, and how long do they have to stay? For example, after 19 years could I ask for a real person, and they only have to stay 1 year with me, or would they just have the one year with me and then 19 more (but with clones and after I am gone the same choice to have another real person)? I think the only way I would choose a real person is if they just had to serve the remaining time with me, and I would wait until one year left. I still don't think I have the right to take that year away from them, but by that time I probably wouldn't be thinking about the rights of others.

A psychological decision
Huh? Thats not what I was saying at all... I was just thinking an interesting question if the scientists let you have one actual, real person with you that can actually talk and do everything that person would normally do because it IS that person[such as a family member, friend, loved one, etc], as well as all the existing conditions, would you take that person's 20 years away to lessen your hardships? The person would be under the same conditions as you [could choose a clone, etc], except would have to choose door A because that's where you are. Hmm, so at the beginning of the experiment I could choose either to have one real person be entered into the experiment with me, or choose to take the clone route? Anyways I would still choose the clones, I don't really like people anyways and I couldn't live with the same person for 20 years. I get annoyed way to easily. Plus I couldn't bring someone else into that situation, I just don't think I have the right to make that decision for them.

How would you like to die?
I'm hoping that by the time I get older medical advances have gotten to the point where people can live forever, if not in their bodies some kind of consciousness transfer into a machine of some sort. Dieing doesn't appeal to me.

"I am Legend" Trailer / Discussion
[hide]Yeah I highly doubt the grenade killed every monster in the city. It just killed the ones who were around. [/hide]

Can it be?! - Real life pictures
GIYF. There are a lot of anon here, luckily they act like tipiters most of the time. I used to troll /b/ a lot but now I just go to the chans for /tv/, /co/ and /s/. I really should stop going to /tv/ because that is generally how I get movies/TV spoiled.

Game of the Year 2007
Looks like the only 2007 game I played the entire year was the new Metroid. I did have a chance to play Mario Galaxy for a while, it was fun.

A psychological decision
You're not allowed to. Seriously, saying things like "omg ill just open door b and shoot the bastard" is pointless. That's not the decision. It's supposed to be a hard decision, please don't make stupid suggestions like that. Either be trapped for 20 years, or die. Simple. For some reason there are always people who say stuff like this when given scenarios. I don't know why they can't just "play the game" like everyone else.

Stock Market
I don't know about that, but I was just saying how he would have to do it in America, since that is what I know. It's probably close to how it works in the UK also, just substitute Wall Street for the UK equivalent.

What movie(s) did you last see?
Big Trouble - Surprisingly the movie was pretty funny. It wasn't actually too stupid either. Trust the Man - Not really sure why I was told to watch this, it was pretty mediocre. Fried Green Tomatoes - I don't know what to think of this movie because I found myself not caring very much about it, and then realizing it is still on 5 minutes later.

Stock Market
If you get the license (which you will not) you still have to move to New York and go to Wall Street and physically buy and sell stocks, and you still have to pay some sort of fee. For normal people (only investing $100, you would need upwards of $1,000,000+ before thinking about a broker) that are just playing around with money something like Scott Trade or E-Trade would be the best. Scott Trade though requires $500 minimum.

Stock Market
I was lucky every time I had to play the stock game at schools. First time was when Google first went public, so I invested completely in that and did the best in the school. Second time was when Nintendo was getting set to release the Wii, so I invested completely in that and did the best. I wouldn't even know what to suggest now though. Oh and there are websites that you can go to where you can buy/sell stocks. It costs $8 a trade though, so you only have $92 to invest. You also will not be able to buy/sell all the time because it costs $8 every time.

A psychological decision
That is true, the scenario just states the clone doesn't talk, it doesn't say anything about communications other ways. I think ordering it to have a conversation with you via pen/paper would be acceptable under the rules. That would take care of companionship, at least part ways. Still not hearing someone's voice for 20 years except your own could be a problem, but probably not. There is a microphone in the room for you to speak into, it never states whether or not the people listening ever reply. Also if what the other people said is true the room is a bit bigger than I thought, so yeah, I could easily do 20 years in there.

Happy new year to Tip.It !

Where the hell is everyone reading this "robot" stuff? You are like the fifth person to mention a robot, robots were never mentioned, in fact it said no electronics.
