Airplane! - A classic, it is hilarious. The first time was funnier, still pretty funny the second time though. Reign Over Me - I stayed away from this movie because it didn't really look like something I would be interested in. It actually turned out to be pretty good. Sandler played a drama role well again, which really shows he can actually act. Don Cheadle is always good so that wasn't unexpected. Two actors with small roles were B.J. Novak and Donald Sutherland, who I like to see in movies/TV. Happiness - Well this movie was odd, and downright awkward through most of it. I can't see watching this with anyone else.

100% completion. That's just to get the stats page to 100%.

No, it's an RPG. and it's not an expansion. then it looks like i found my next game There is a completely optional expansion for it, along with downloadable content. There is a game of the year edition that comes with the game + expansion, and I think a few of the DLCs. I would just get that.

Yep, I am an Elder Scrolls series fan. I don't know about the biggest though, I just keep the sig because I have always had it and wouldn't know what else to put there. I'm sure there are at least 4 or 5 regular posters who have played Oblivion more than me. It's great, but the mods aren't interesting me as much this time around.

That's what the "other" slot is for. I did try to find a Festivus pole, or at least something that looked like it, but I couldn't. I guess I could order one but they are probably expensive to ship. Anyways, I thought Christmas would be the biggest, I didn't realize it would be that far ahead though.

I'm a del Toro fan, and am OK with the others. I really think del Toro would be great for the movies. A few other places are saying that Raimi basically has it though.

Here is some more info. To sum it up: Peter Jackson will be writing the screenplays, he can't write during the strike of course but he is tied up until February anyways, so all in all the movies are planned for 2011 and 2012. Sam Raimi (Spider-Man, Evil Dead) looks to be the prime candidate for director. Guillermo del Toro (Pan's Labyrinth) is also rumored to be in consideration, if Raimi doesn't work out. Alfonso Cuaron (Children of Men) was also mentioned. None of this is set yet, it's all unofficial.

I agree the movie could have been longer. It did manage to keep the pace up really well this way though. I just hope we get a second and third movie. Sky High - Combine a super hero movie with a high school movie and this is what you have. Doesn't do either all that well, but it is still enjoyable. I think it is mostly the cast that made the movie for me, namely Mary Elizabeth Winstead. Bruce Campbell and Kurt Russell also helped out. I think a less family friendly version of this movie could have been awesome. Theoretically any movie with BC and KR in it should be the coolest movie ever anyways.

Looks like I already promised to see it twice, once with friends and once with my dad. Oh well, I hope it's worth watching twice.

My dad and I will be seeing it sometime soon, as part of his Christmas present from me :D . Looks good.

Well the brains are always missing. It's possible he just cuts them up to see how they work, but I think him eating them to gain their knowledge is much cooler.

The Wind That Shakes the Barley - Irish history always interests me, so I enjoyed this movie. Most of the time I was just thinking about the history part rather than the movie part. Sometimes it was hard to understand what they were saying also, which was disgruntling because I want to move to Ireland someday. Didn't understand the Irish Gaelic at all obviously, luckily most Irish speak English. The Good German - A WW2 movie that doesn't have any battles in it, it takes place in Potsdam during the peace conference. It was interesting, but I was kind of bored during some of it. I liked the real footage mixed in the movie, but I don't really think it was needed. It seemed like it was just added to make the movie more artsy or something. Ferris Bueller's Day Off - This is a classic. If you watch any sort of high school comedies, you have to see this one.

Most likely. Executive producers do have a good deal of input though, mostly just with veto powers. If they don't like the director, they can replace them. If they don't like the way something is done, they can have it redone. However the director is still the one who does the creative parts. Jackson will also be able to accept/reject the screenplay, that is if he is an active executive producer and not just a name on the movie.

Great movie, I think I might watch it again today. Oh and yes, the Battlestar Galactica set does make me happy. Still have to wait 4 more months for the region 1 set of season 3 to come out. @rick, how much did the Bourne trilogy cost?

If Peter Jackson was writing/directing them, then this would be great news. Since he isn't, I am not getting my hopes up.

It's awesome if he eats them, so I am just go on and assume he does.

Oh yeah, Das Leben der Anderen is an awesome film. I actually just yesterday told my friend he needed to see it. I haven't seen it in quite a while, I;ll have to check it out again soon.

It's annoying how many people will announce that they don't care. If they really didn't care, they wouldn't even check the topic. It happens with all topics related to celebrities.
