  1. I should put a picture of a facepalm here. Not for the stupid question, for everyone believing that it wasn't some kid putting it up to be funny.
  2. We've had topics about this before, but not in a long while. I used to do Einstein@Home and we even had a small TIF group. I think it was maybe me and two other people at the most, then they left :D . I didn't really understand what E@H was doing, I just picked it because of the name. I didn't do Folding@Home because it didn't use the BOINC client and I already had it installed. There are some that you can run that look for unknown objects in space, and if you find one then you get to name it. I was about to start that, but that's when I decided to just shut off the computer when not in use and save energy instead.
  3. Are there any f2p ones like EVE-online?
  4. I was kind of bored the other day and I almost logged on, mostly to see how long since my last log on (should be hitting around 1000 days ago). But I clicked on Google Earth instead of Firefox and ended up wasting two hours, and never got around to RS. Still get urges to play about once every 3 or 4 months.
  5. Or you could watch [REC] which came out last year, and doesn't give away the entire movie in it's . Next year the movie I am looking forward to the most is Watchmen. The trailer looked great, let's hope the movie is.
  6. Southland Tales - This is the second time watching it. Sadly it lost a lot for the second viewing, and now I am really seeing why a lot of people thought it was stupid. On your first viewing if you are really trying to figure out what exactly is going on then you don't think about the stupid stuff, so it's worth watching once.
  7. American Movie, and if you want something more recent: The Onion Movie. There are a good deal of movies that have "movie" in their alternate title also.
  8. Who's Mike Ness?
  9. Just came here to say that, I guess some people do read my posts :D . Even though I always auto-resolve battles I still really, really like R:TW. However I think I like Civ IV a little more, since it is solely based on the turn-based system.

Not going to bother repeating ones already said, so I'll just mention these two: Married to the Sea - Updated daily, it basically takes some sort of clip-art type sketch picture, usually from a long time ago and adds text to it. Not going to be to everyone's liking, and it can be pretty hit and miss. Rehabilitating Mr. Wiggles - This one is a little odd, and not appropriate.
  11. A few people have said that spoof movies are all bad, and I just want to point out that Scary Movie and those aren't the only spoof movies out there. Most of Mel Brooks' movies were spoof movies and they were great (Blazing Saddles, High Anxiety, Spaceballs ect...). Then there were the Airplane! and Naked Gun movies, I only saw the two Airplane!s but they were both hilarious. More recently were the Austin Powers movies making fun of Jame Bond, and this year was Get Smart making fun of Bond. Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox story was a funny take on a few musician based movies. Those were just American Hollywood movies. There are plenty more independent/international spoof movies that were great. Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz could both be considered spoof movies.
  12. It seems everyone of his movies have been better than the ones I watched before. My first experience was with A Film Trilogy by Ingmar Bergman Criterion Collection (Through a Glass Darkly, Winter Light and The Silence). I didn't really like it all that much, but it did look great. It was black and white but everything just looked great. Then I saw Wild Strawberries, and that one I enjoyed, but still not quite my style. After that was The Seventh Seal, and that I really liked. But the last one I saw was Fanny and Alexander and I thought that was better than any of the others. So in conclusion: watch Fanny and Alexander.
  13. I loved Sky High, also loved Mystery Men. They weren't great, but they were funny enough. Worst would be Batman & Robin or League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.
  14. As long as they are economically feasible they will continue making them.

eBay isn't really that great of a place to make a business anymore. At least that's what people tell me.
  16. Quite double posting, that would be a good idea.
  17. Don't get your hopes up to far, not too many people liked it like I did. Reading the graphic novel right before hand definitely should help though :D .
  18. As long as they aren't drawing welfare and are supporting themselves having children is an important part of a society. When population of certain ages is unrestricted you need a lot of children to help pay for all the old people. It's a never ending cycle that eventually leads to over-population, however more people means a better chance of a smart person that can make life easier for everyone. This is also the reason why the space program is so important, we need to constantly expand to give more places for all the new people to live. If we are still on Earth when there isn't enough room for everyone most likely mother nature will take care of it via a plague or mass starvation.
  19. Watch Night Man then watch Day Man, and if you like it watch the entire series.
  20. I'll do anything to get more Firefly fans 8-) . Even though now a hope for any more movies/TV is probably over :( . Always good to check Hulu when looking to stream any TV show. Their search function also returns results from the networks websites. So while Lost isn't available on Hulu when you search for it you get the links for everything available on abc.com, which is all 4 seasons. Now of course if you knew it was available on abc.com then you wouldn't need to go through Hulu, but it's a nice function anyways.
  21. I like the Donnie Darko soundtrack, it's good if you want to listen to late 80s music. Requiem for a Dream is a standard that usually get's mentioned first... 28 Days Later also has a great soundtrack.
  22. http://www.hulu.com/firefly There's a link for good quality flash, completely free and legal.
  23. TV serial: 1. Firefly 2. Battlestar Galactica 3. Lost 4. Veronica Mars 5. Rome Animated: 1. South Park 2. Futurama 3. American Dad 4. Robot Chicken 5. Family Guy Sitcom: 1. Arrested Development 2. Seinfeld 3. The Office (US) 4. Spaced 5. It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia That's the only way I could make the list, out of all of those Firefly would be my favourite though.
  24. ...what? the dark knight has made over $300,000,000 I think. Where did you get $100,000,000 from? They are talking about Speed Racer.
  25. I know I am bumping this when maybe I shouldn't, but Dr. Horrible is again available for free. Hulu is the website that streamed the video (for free, it really is a great site) and now it available on Hulu's actual website: http://www.hulu.com/dr-horribles-sing-along-blog
