  1. Last nights episode was awesome, even though it was kind of all over the place.
  2. I guess that's true, still I think it would be much cooler/scarier if Mr. Petrelli could completely absorb all energy from you instead of just taking your powers.
  3. It wouldn't make sense for Adam's body to fall apart, because his body's cells aren't 400 years old. They just get replaced/healed when they die off, that's how regeneration works. Now they could play it that he did die because he lost his power, but that wouldn't explain why everyone is so afraid of Mr. Petrelli.
  4. I'm pretty sure Mr. Petrelli chose to kill Adam like that, he can take away someones life if he choses. Because regeneration just heals your body's cells, so when Adam lost his power he would just be a normal person. Also it would explain why everyone is afraid of Petrelli so much, if he can kill you with a touch and does it often then that is much scarier than a person who just takes powers. Look when Parkman's dad was talking to him, he was deathly afraid. If all Mr. Petrelli could do is take away powers it would suck for Parkman, but not close to being life threatening.
  5. None of them really ever do as much as they could. Now the main reason for that is probably special effects costs, still it's kind of annoying. There will be the increase of power problem if they ever get a better budget, like it seems happens with most superheroes/villains. Not as bad as in comics though, for example in X-Men #1 when we first see Jean Grey she can only hold up Beast in the air for a second, by the time X-Men #129-137 comes around she travels to galaxies in seconds and destroys a planet with 6 billion human level lives on it. Now that might not be the best example because technically the Dark Pheonix was a different entity, but it happens with other characters too. Some power increase can be attributed to a learning curve also, so I think Heroes can handle it without too many problems.
  6. I said that last week, now I feel stupid. Of course Mr. Petrelli's power is of the empath sort. The two sons that naturally had powers (Peter and Sylar) both had a form of empathy, and the son that didn't was given powers (Nathan). We know that a child of a power wielding parent doesn't always share the parent's powers and sometimes doesn't get any power at all, still it should have been obvious to me that someone in charge like Mr. Petrelli would have more than just telekinesis. Oh and regarding the German guy, they would have just ruined his power and therefore his character anyhow. Look at what they had him do, he opened up all the car doors at once, pulled all the shades in the bank at once, and then held his hand 1 inch away from the dial on the safe instead of just turning it with his hand or actually use his power and just rip the door off.
  7. I think I had a ring with nighteye, just threw it on whenever I needed it. Didn't keep it on all the time because of the permanent blue world, it kind of hurt my eyes.
  8. There's software that removes voices from a song for karaoke purposes. Windows Vista even has it built in. Never used it before though, so I don't know how well they work.
  9. Yep, the soundtrack would probably be better since there is usually noise other than just talking over a song, and also they don't normally put the whole song in the movie.
  10. It was a nice change of pace from what we normally get, and there were a few laugh out loud parts. Definitely liking this half of the season better.
  11. Yeah, photographic reflexes are awesome when you really explore the power. That's why the Taskmaster is one of my favourite comic characters.
  12. I thought Mr. Petrelli's power was telekinesis? Parkman's dad knew what Pretrelli was thinking because he can read minds. Sylar isn't stupid, he figured out what Noah was trying to get vortex man to do. I did think the car ride was one of the best parts of the show: Noah and Claire are arguing while Sylar is sitting in the back with a smile on his face even though he just saved Claire from vortex guy and Noah tried to get vortex guy to kill him. Seems to me that Noah should be more worried about Peter than Sylar though, Sylar seems to have a handle on his urges but Peter definitely does not. Also I would consider Peter the stronger of the two, he doesn't have to study a brain to get powers, he just has be near people.
  13. Along with the "how things work" power he also kept his "plot armor" power where he can use one of the powers he lost if the writers need it in a scene.
  14. He lost all of his powers except for his "how things work" power sometime during the second season. I don't remember exactly how, I try not to think about that season too much :) .
  15. [hide=]I don't think Hiro would kill Ando like that unless Parkman's dad was also there controlling him somehow. Doesn't explain how he got back to Pinehearst so quickly though. Although Parkman's dad has been messing with both Daphne and Nathan, so maybe he can do it over long distances. If he can't do it over long distances he must be commuting a ton :) . The other alternative to the Hiro/Ando thing is that Hiro tricked them somehow. Maybe teleported the tip of the blade away and a glob of ketchup into it's place, stopped time, and told Ando the plan.[/hide]
  16. http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/V ... nMods.list I think those are the top two mod sites. Don't know how you upload there, it's probably pretty easy though.
  17. I didn't care much for the second one either. The first one was gold though, and the third was good too. Overall I was pretty disappointed with the first half of season 12, but it looks like the second half is off to a good start.
  18. Yep, blind people can use computers too. Maybe not as easily since everything is created for people who can see but they do ok. Web standards are set up so that it is easier for the blind to browse the internet, such as giving alt-text to pictures so their reader apps can tell them what the picture is.
  19. Cool it has Malcolm McDowell in it. Might have to check that out. I just ordered: Alfred Hitchcock - The Masterpiece Collection (Psycho / Vertigo / Rear Window / The Birds / Shadow of a Doubt / Family Plot / Frenzy / The Man Who Knew Too Much / Marnie / Rope / Saboteur / Topaz / Torn Curtain / The Trouble with Harry Yesterday I also received Weeds seasons 1-3 and Jericho season 2 that I mentioned in the last post. amazon's GoldBox can be amazing sometimes, pretty much every DVD I order I just get it when it is on there.
  20. When training magic it's usually best to go with the cheapest MP cost of that skill you can get. If I recall correctly when I was training restoration I was also training athletics, so I was running the Cyrodiil Marathon cross-country style, and pretty much was casting the cheapest restoration constantly to heal wounds from falls.
  21. Mine suddenly stopped working for some reason, I just refreshed the page and it started to work again. I've given him about 1,500 votes so far, it does work :D .
  22. That didn't work for me, but this did. No doubt Rick's gonna win. \ For those that don't want to go through all that junk, just go here: http://www.bestactever.com/ 5 votes in 2 seconds :D
  23. Nope, still wouldn't make it worth watching. I voted a few times for him anyhow though.
  24. I don't know why the picture goes back to 2003, but it barely makes any difference at all. http://www.opensecrets.org/pres08/contr ... cycle=2008 This is Obama's campaign contributions for the 2008 election, it's still proves the point. http://www.opensecrets.org/pres08/contr ... cycle=2008 Here's Paul's for this election, which is exactly what was in the picture. Oh and this POS picture as you stated came from the same website you referenced earlier (opensecrets.org)
  25. Yes, it goes back a few years. I don't see what is wrong with that. The point still stands that Obama and McCain get [cabbage] loads of money from rich bankers while Paul doesn't, and Obama and McCain are the ones who voted to bail out those same rich bankers.
