  1. FAIL! Makes it take a little more skill, rifles you can shoot too far away.
  2. .22 isn't too big you should go for .45 caliber + bigger bullets = more damage = more free deer to eat :D We have plenty of bigger guns already. Plus in Indiana you can't use rifles to hunt deer.
  3. Is Deus Ex considered a RPG or FPS? I'd probably ere on the side of FPS. Mass Effect is the same way, but for that I would ere on the side of RPG.
  4. I couldn't finish more than the first 10 minutes of NeverWinter Nights II, and the first one I played all the way through (even the expansions) multiple times. 1 is definitely better than 2. I second this motion.
  5. There is too much relationship drama in Buffy which is why I prefer Angel. Stylistically Angel is more appealing too, it's darker and generally more exciting. But Buffy has Angel beat from a film critic standpoint, he did a lot of things with it that you never see on a TV serial. The most popular one is the musical episode of course, but there are others too. He did a silent episode which might be my favourite episode of both series. My second favourite would have to be the Xander viewpoint episode, basically there is an epic battle like you get during season finales but Xander really can't do anything about it and feels useless, so you follow his story while they are in the background barely surviving. Angel overall is a more enjoyable series, but mostly he found something that works and kept with it throughout the whole series.
  6. I just read an article today that said it doesn't matter if you swallow it or not. Here it is, I think that part was on the last page.
  7. A short review of Buffy and Angel as requested: Buffy the Vampire Slayer is a series that revolves around a high school female named Buffy, who is the vampire slayer. As the vampire slayer she is given super strength and super speed, but not too super. The series takes place in Sunnydale, California which happens to be over a hellmouth, specifically it is right under the high school. When she first gets there she meets a variety of people from the losers to the popular kids, along with the librarian who is her Watcher (teaches vampire fighting). While fighting vampires she meets a mysterious stranger named Angel who helps her out, which of course causes her to fall in love with him. Angel is vampire who was cursed with getting his soul back, and therefore doesn't kill people anymore. Vampires are a part of the show, but Buffy fights other demons just as often. Angel is a spin-off of Buffy, but is stylized a little differently. Angel kind of has a film-noir type quality and the series is a little more stable, meaning the whole thing was pretty good whereas Buffy had a decent amount of episodes that you just wanted to end. The best episodes of Buffy however beat the best of Angel. Both series have Whedon's style to them, in other words a lot of dry humour and plots you wouldn't expect.
  8. Oh man I forgot about tea, a hot cup of peppermint tea helps a lot :) .
  9. Water. Headaches, stomach aches, congested nose, water helps all of it. I never find the Carnation instant breakfast things to be too helpful, I'm pretty used to them now though since I've had them for breakfast every single day for the last 3 years. Laying down and resting can help too, I think you are supposed to lay on your left side with a stomach ache. EDIT: A classic when you're sick is chicken noodle soup, and I find it's a classic for a reason. It really does help. Sprite can also help some too, don't get it too cold though.
  10. I'm getting a .22 caliber rifle this year. It's going to cost more than my parents spend on me ($75), so I'll be making up the difference. What I am really excited about is the present my sisters and I got our parents: an ice cream maker.
  11. At a certain point in the head, like where Peter shot him, it ruins his healing power and he wont regenerate. Like Claire in S1 when she gets that stick in her head.
  12. I've only watched True Blood, and it was ok. Seeing Lizzy Caplan nude might have been a big part of that though... I found about half of the show to be annoying (everything with Tara) and the revealed killer to be a little lame. For vampire TV shows you can't beat Angel, although Buffy is close.
  13. Stephen King thought so too, he said something along the lines of "I wish I had thought of it".
  14. http://heroeswiki.com/Virginia_Gray Thats a Heroes wiki page on Sylars adopted mom. She specifically says he is not her son when he shows her what he can do. The reason we don't see her is because he killed her :? Ah yes, now I remember him killing her.
  15. Oh, forgot to talk about Sylar not being a Petrelli. I thought that was pretty lame, like we were discussing last week. As much as I like his character I wouldn't mind if he got killed off sometime soon, I fear if he stays on the show he will just keep on going back and forth between good and bad. Although he pretty much has no reason to ever be good again. Does anyone remember what happened to the mom he was living with back in season 1? What happened to her and why did he have reason to doubt that she was his real mom?
  16. I agree... Julie Benz is a hawt actor, should appear in more films and serials She never really has all that great of a role. In the Buffyverse she sired Angel so you would have thought she would be more important than she was. In Rambo she played a cliched "useless female" character. Same for Punisher: War Zone. In Dexter her character is interesting but seems like she has nothing new to add. If I remember correctly the pilot is a good indicator of how much you will like the rest of the series. Not like some shows with an amazing pilot but then gets weaker, and not a weak pilot but turns out a good series.
  17. So it's a bad ep? I have it, I just haven't seen it. I'll watch it after I finish watching S02E08 of BSG ;) I didn't like the time traveling with all it's problems but it was a good episode. Oh and you are coming up on my favourite part of BSG, end of season 2 and beginning of season 3 :) .
  18. Damn time traveling episodes.
  19. KOTOR, if you've played it you know the part.
  20. She was nice looking in Veronica Mars also, but I think she looks best in Fanboys: . Now if the movie would just come out sometime this decade.
  21. Yeah, I thought the beginning of this seasons was pretty weak compared to the first two, but it really picked up. It has definitely turned out interesting this last episode.

I didn't really like the controls in RE4 for Wii. It's the only RE game I've played though, so maybe I'm just not used to it.
  23. Probably got close to 300 on Morrowind, and it also is the longest play session (around 10AM to 2AM for a week or two)
  24. X-Men Legends II, just last night with a friend. Single player last was Mass Effect.

Yep, there were billions of dollars changing hands when this happened. Just a small part of it went to subsidizing the converters in the form of a $40 off coupon.
