I seem to recall a SNES version of Lord of the Rings, is that it?

ffs, we thought we made them up. :cry: Yeah back when I was in school we played "the game" and I thought some friends of mine made it up, but with how much it is spread now they probably got it from somewhere else. We played it long before it was big though, that's something at least.

Those existed (some with the same names) when I was in school, I'm pretty sure you didn't make them up.

Pretty much everything during school. I never had the money to join in on it though, just ogle over the other kids' toys.

That's about $25US, about $40 cheaper than the Masterpiece (at current amazon price). Psycho is only one disc in this set though, the 15th disc is just labeled "bonus disc" and I haven't watched it yet to know what's on it.

That has all the same movies as The Masterpiece Collection, but it looks different. Is it not region 1?

I think that's the first review I've heard that said it's good :) . Makes me want to see it now, for a while I was just thinking about waiting for the DVD.

Sounded like you just watched it in theaters, I was a little confused and jealous.

This a weird coincidence, my friends and I pulled out one of their 64's for the first time in probably 6 years and the first thing we played was PD. We all sucked at it too. But I yeah, PD is better, at least multiplayer wise.

Well I thought a while about this and decided to go with the same choices I had a few months ago: In a scenario in which I am the only super powered person I would want technopathy. In a scenario in which there are many super powered people I would want adaptive mutation. (this is baring any reality altering powers like the One-Above-All)

Heh, I haven't looked at his site in years, does he still update? That's pretty cool, those sets can get damn expensive. Libraries usually have a few, but not always the ones you are looking for. I got the Mossberg International 702 Plinkster: http://www.mossbergintl.com/pages/702plinkster.htm It's a .22 caliber rifle, and not too expensive (price on that website says $166, but that's MSRP) so it was under $100 and I didn't have to give my parents any extra. Don't have any gun cleaning supplies at home though so I haven't been able to shoot it yet.

I love complete TV series box sets. Even better when they are priced right. Speaking of which, I just ordered Angel: The Complete Series. Also Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog came in the mail yesterday (had it on pre-order for almost a month).

Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog - This is great. Here is the official website. You can watch it for free on there, but I highly recommend buying it ($10). Commentary! The Musical is almost as good as the actual show. EDIT: So I watched it, then Commentary! The Musical, then with the actual commentary, then watched the making of features. So I kind of watched it four times today, and I had watched it online 4 or 5 times since July when it came out. Still love it.

Raptor: Call of the Shadows is probably my favourite shareware game.

Who says we have to be in the UK to enjoy Merlin? Anyways, it's good but not great. Every episode tried to get that epic "oh crap one of them is going to die" feel, or a "oh crap he is going to get caught" feel. Then with 2 minutes left everything works out fine and everything is back to normal.

Permanent marker isn't as hard to get off your face as you would think. Waking up after a night of drinking and seeing your face in the mirror for the first time is the bad part.

That's the great thing about this show, he is perfect for the part.

I just started playing it two days ago. There is a [cabbage] load to do in this game, but I am already level 9 without doing barely any of the main quest. Going to hit the 20 max level really quick. Probably do this first play through vanilla pretty quickly, then I'll mod the hell out of it for the next run through.
