You know, I'm really starting to get annoyed with all the squabbling about what thread goes where. Leave it up to the moderators. If you have a problem with it, report the thread so the mods can look at it. It does NO good to get into an argument about it. -.- I've actually been thinking about such a room. I personally think it would be a great addition to the PoH's. It makes perfect sense to have a room to store your pets. My suggestions: Make it possible to build a small summoning obelisk in the center of the room. As for the materials to build it, I don't know exactly, but it should require a good amount of summoning charms and spirit shards, in addition to one or more magic stones. It doesn't have to look like natural obelisks either. And possibly it could require a quest with a decent summoning level requirement. As to the storage of pets, I'm thinking it could have 4 pet cage hotspots in each corner of the room; and make it possible to build whichever habitat in each that you choose. Since pets do need food, I'm thinking you should have to put food in with them. Obviously they would eat at a much slower rate than normal; maybe 2-4 per day.

Getting a little bored with RC so I decided to dust off an old favorite, barrows. Haven't done it since ~100 combat. So from 7 am to 1 pm, I managed to get 30 runs in. I think I got fairly lucky... Not bad eh? 3.8m for 5 hours work. Not as good as rcing, but pretty fun. So... how do you rate? :

150k rc xp an hour...? I said 150-200k rc exp on a good Day. "The above" refer to the skills like cooking, fletching, fming, and theiving; which obviously you can get 150k+ per hour in.

The Icyene. Although commander Zilanya is the only obvious Icyene in the game, it is also evident that the ancient Queen of Hallowvale, Efaritay, was an Icyene. There is also speculation that Safalaan of the Sanguinesti Order of Myreque is also an Icyene. Just look at those bright blue eyes of his... just like Zilanya's? I'm very interested to see future developments on the Icyene in the Hallowvale storyline.

Barely. In most cases places where I want to go have a teleport that is closer, or at least close enough so that I don't have to hassle with the fairy ring codes... yes I'm lazy :P I use it mainly for odd slayer tasks. Kalphites and brine rats come to mind.

Easily 20-30. You get a lot of them when you're cooking/fletching/fming/blackjack thieving. Oddly enough though, in a day of total nolife rcing I'll only get 3-5 :| Hours and hours in between them. Maybe it's because on a good day I'll only get 150-200k rc exp, while the above are easily 150-200k+ per hour, idk.

Total does matter some to me, but it's secondary to achieving very difficult 99's. Obviously in the month or so it's going to take me to get these last 3 RC levels my total isn't going to increase by much :D

Only problem is when you log off, so does your gravestone ....so if you die because you lag out and get logged off ...500k or not you lose your stuff .. They need to change it so when you log out your stuff doesnt disapear. The only reason i would die is from laggin out... so... :? Your stuff doesn't disappear. I lagged out and died while RCing right next to the zammy mage, apparently there was a rev there. Couldn't log in for a whole minute, then found myself in fally... I ran back, and all of my stuff was still there (including my armadyl helmet :o). No pouches, of course... -.- And no gravestone there either, just my stuff.

Ahh I see, so he gets the kill and still can leave, just can't protect. Still seems sorta glitchy to me; though not a bannable one I'd think as it would most likely fall under "clever use of game mechanics"; they should really fix it so that it isn't your kill when you leave and come back. I have to admit, though, it would take a very ignorant person to just up and attack a person from a clan like that and not know what was going to happen when they came back... Still sucks though.

Let me get this straight; correct me if I'm wrong; some agser teles to a massive pile of pkers, he attacks his target, gets them down to half health or more, the others attack him chasing him out, he eventually teles back to them, they kill his initial target, THEY get the drop, they pick up the items... and he gets the pickup penalty? How is that not a bug?

That sucks man. IMO it isn't an epic fail on your part, it's an epic fail for those nerds abusing that bug (yes it's a bug). I hope they get banned. -.-

Oh I guess we're just a little peeved that just about every RS "Review" has been about f2p. Which is basically a demo. That's like playing WoW's 2-week trial and judging the entire game based on the limited experience of that. And then as I pointed out you had false information in your review. Maybe not intentionally, but it sure as hell doesn't make you look like a decent critic when you can't even get your facts straight.

Why all the hate for molly? Doesn't really take that long to do and I've gotten like 3-5 diamonds from it. Exp would be nicer though :D For me it would defiantly be the mime; well at least make it never occur after you get the emotes and costume. It takes too damned long to do and you get what... a whole 500 gp? GRR. Same deal with the drill demon as well. There are also some randoms that I don't really mind but there are circumstances where they just shouldn't be appearing. Like the sandwitch lady a metal dragons. I don't think she should be removed; maybe given better rewards; but she should defiantly stay clear of any combat situations. Either that or make it easier to answer her. Seriously, why does combat have to close out any and all interfaces?

Very significant milestone on my way to level 99. First time I've actually gone (slightly) out of my way to get my exp to an exact amount, but for a skill as slow as this, it was worth it. In other news, I've managed to bank the rest of the ess that I need for 99: Probably not enough Graahks but I can always buy more. Got those at 9k ea. (originally bought 100 of them). Also finally got around to updating my av :lol: I'll post my bank if anyone cares, but atm it's nothing special. Not very much stuff in there since I sold a lot of stuff I just plain never use.

The first batch of "great" new rewards was annoying enough for me in that it made some of the better rewards rarer, but the 3rd age update that brought with it Uri's was the final nail in the coffin for me. I don't even pick them up anymore. I just can't be bothered to store all of that rubbish in my bank or buy it off the GE every freaking time I get him. Which is often. This new update with the rubbish con rewards was just beating a dead horse. And to think I actually thought that when they said "construction gear" they meant something... I don't know, USEFUL?!

There's no such thing as free exp. You'd be much better off if you just sold the willows and bought maples for 99 fm. Is 30-40 extra hours worth the 1.5 mil you'd save (from about lvl 80)? Yeah you didn't spend anything on the willows in the first place (besides time; however that was for 99 wc, not fm), but you're still spending all those extra hours avoiding forking over the extra 1.5 mil to use maples :| As to the original topic, it's very obvious. Supply and demand. Normal logs are in low demand, but then they're also in low supply, too. They're low exp, and only one log per tree. Doubt anybody seriously cuts those after 20-25 wc. Willows have slightly more demand, but there is also a massive supply from wc trainers. Maples probably have even more supply than willows, but the demand is MUCH higher. They're the best log you can do for 99 fm. Yews are simply too expensive to be economical anymore. (at least for the average 'scaper)

Saying "omg lag" is essentially just a brief rant. Lag is frustrating. Do you think they care that you don't care? They're venting, not asking for your sympathy. Seems pointless, but then not everything in life has to have a point.
