true true very true. Thou fact the fist dips down and the stone is round more likely fist is somewhere the stone has been hit down or dropped. But equally all we know the stone and the fist are the same thing Can't remember where I heard it (somewhere on tif, cba to find the quote), but supposedly FoG is the site of a Saradominist camp that had the Stone of Jas in its possession during the Godwars (which in turn, was supposedly for control of this powerful relic). After Guthix stopped the war, he tried and failed to destroy the stone (but in the process he obliterated the camp). Instead, an imprint of the stone's power and some of Guthix's remained; which is the fist itself. If all of that is true then if anything the pattern of the FoG only serves to prove that the stone showed in the cutscene is, in fact, the Stone of Jas.

Meh, partyhats are a great way to look good and invest your money. I think 3rd age looks like crap and has terrible bonuses. So everyone has an opinion are realy you posting that didn't contributed anything to the thread. Whites are selling at mid on forums now so they're going up now. Yeah, I really doubt partyhats would look that great without their pricetag or rarity, either. But at least 3rd age has decent stats. Crap? The amulet and hat have the best bonuses for mage in the game. Now the stats on phats, that is crap. I think it's a bit presumptuous to say that my post didn't contribute anything to the thread, because really, there isn't really much else to add. So partyhats are going up again; good, hold em' if ya got em'. :?

So... 3a is crashing and phats are going up? Thank God. I'd much rather have 3a than a stupid paper hat.

Oh yeah, pickpocketing is mad fun. people call me "sad" because I'm a level 133 and I run and hide, but tell that to the 110k points I got from jacking ~20k runes from mages one game
-
Yeah, I just got 94 mage the day before yesterday and let's just say... I'm having fuuun with this new minigame  It's like pking, but the gear is mostly free (other than the time and skills needed to obtain the stuff). I must say this is one of the most well-designed, fun minigames Jagex has ever released. Well-designed, that is, with the exception of the rewards. I think they should release tier 2 and 3 clay armor, each tier costing 10x more than the previous, and tier 2 being level 50 gear and tier 3 being level 60 gear. And a good thing to do also would be to make gathering and crafting the clay give 2 exp per class, per piece of clay in the appropriate skills. It wouldn't replace normal training for sure, but it would at least be fair to skillers because... as I learned I AM getting exp from these free ice barrages.
-
Good lord, the game won't even start. Seriously, do they even test this stuff before they release it? I can forgive a few bugs passing through... but one that prevents the game from starting altogether? Bah. Wonder if the clan start area works?
-
Oh boy, degradable rune/mystic/green d'hide! You'd think that this update would be f2p with rewards like that. The minigame itself might be mildly amusing for a while, I suppose. Hope the rewards from the quest are better.

"Fletching" Sucess!
Peronix replied to Dean Ambrose's topic in Achievements (Drops, Bank Pictures and Levels)
 That's a good one. If there was any shortage of that, mods would delete topics instead of locking them. Pure arrogance... y'know I posted a topic on the achievements board years ago with 70 fletching, with a goal of 85. It received a much different reception than this one. Just shows how far down the toilet the RS community has gone since then. -

Ironically, it probably took longer to write that than it would take to write "0/10" which is obviously what you're thinking. Do people on this forum like flaming so much that they can't let threads like this just die? :wall: -
Just because it's been out a while doesn't mean the bubble won't burst. Party hats were basically a bubble market, and look what's happening to them at the moment. They've been out since near the dawn of Runescape, and they're discontinued! Yeah 3a has decent stats, but not the best. And more are coming into the game, however slowly.
-
Ah good, one less item in the hands of junk traders and into the hands of people that actually wear them. I'm really hoping this happens with 3a too, I remember a time when it actually sold for a "reasonable" amount. That bubble's gotta burst eventually.
-
It's all very well saying/doing that, but how about you actually finish some of the ones you've started Jagex? What? I was fairly certain that this quest would actually tie a few storylines together, and perhaps end them. :? I know it's speculation to say that, but it's also speculation to say that it won't.

If every topic in this forum worked on that basis then this forum would become redundant as every "achievement" would be 10/10 no matter how hard or easy it is. Yeah, but the thing is, a lot of people on this forum tend to ignore actual achievements (at least from some of the lesser known people) and give ones like this a bunch of attention by flaming it for 1-3 pages. Sometimes I think some of these "achievements" are posted just to troll you guys... (not necessarily referring to this one) ... and it works. -
If it isn't, then the actual huge quest must be [bleep]ing epic if it's even moreso the longest, deepest storyline they've ever attempted.
-
I have no doubt this new grandmaster quest will be very difficult, but really, Jagex's quest ratings are nothing to go by. For example you have "Catapult Construction" and "Roving Elves" listed under master quests. While they do have some pretty difficult quests as prerequisites, they aren't really that hard themselves. Summer's end should have been a master quest, but the reason it wasn't I think was simply because of the low reqs...
-
So... the best reward from PvP worlds is a... bug? As if PvP worlds weren't unpopular enough. + as if DFH's weren't overpriced enough...

what lv(combat)l are you? 133 what is your highest lvl? 100 HP what is your lowest(if youre nonmem dont tell me some mem subject like thieving)? 70 Herblore how many friends you have? None. I r 2 timid.

Huh? I thought use of music in youtube videos and the like fell under some fair use clause in copyright law... guess not. :? I'm pretty sure that kind of thing doesn't happen all too often, most of the stuff on youtube has copyrighted music on it (in fact, sometimes I get annoyed when some videos have crappy songs on them instead of the actual audio... -.-). As for Jagex issuing takedown notices, I don't know what to make of it. I know they've done that in the past to very specific types of videos, I guess it's just their way of censoring discussion of that sort...

Way to shoot down my hopes and dreams man -.- Both sides of this argument are pure speculation. Although in 1245780's defense, the Godsword is an ancient and powerful relic, "said to be capable of killing a god"... maybe the staff of armadyl will be a mage's best weapon? Just how powerful really depends on the reqs and difficulty of the quest, but the point is it's certainly an open possibility.

The religious holidays in RS like Christmas and Easter have only featured the secular aspects of these holidays, so unless turkeys offend you, I wouldn't get into it. It's just for fun. Personally I'm hoping for the sakes of those little leperchauns who help us by looking after our farming tools that they do something for St. Patrick's day. :) That would be good fun. Of course though, the most interesting thing this month for me is the quest. It's about time they advanced the plot of the main storylines in RS, sounds like it's going to be epic.

Just quoting myself to say that I fixed the problem. Not exactly sure what it was, but I think it might have been the AVG antivirus toolbar... thing. Still think the tip.it toolbar is better :P . The little popups it brings up overlays the game window instead of forcing the stretch-mode applet to adjust, and it brings up just the calculators instead of whole pages. I like that yours has swift IRC and quest guides on it though, and particularly the item lookup (tip.its brings up the item in its own database which is nice... but the GE price listings are like 7+ months old... #-o). It would be awfully nice if yours didn't cut off the header thus disabling tip.it's toolbar when yours is active so I could possibly use both.
-
I installed it. Doesn't work. None of the buttons do anything. Think I'll stick to the tip.it one for now.
-
And the year before that I believe. Good to have ya' back, grim! :D

Ah, sorry, I usually wait until there's like 3 new quests out to do them all. Haven't done that one yet :P I can't help but think that there's a connection between the stone and the staff of armadyl though. What does Lucien need the staff for? Perhaps it can help him search for the stone? More wild speculation ftw.
