Favorite is Sound of Guthix, hands down. Other songs I like include Temple Desecrated, song from Sara GWD, The Evil Within, and the beginning of Surok's theme. It gets kinda repetitive (that's a bit of a bad "habit" for songs in RS...) but the intro is just epic.

I've been doing some solo arma in the last few days, and every time I got my KC I ended up with MORE than 40 bars. That was WITH a RoW, btw. So no, I don't think they've been nerfed.

So, the halloween quest rewards us with a bunch of mage exp, a cool broom with a teleport, and a purple cat and this rewards us with... exp? I seriously lol'd at the 500 exp lamp. Especially when it showed that reward next to the pile of dung. Fitting, don't you think? I'm getting a feeling vaguely similar to what I felt after doing "A Soul's Bane"... Santa suit is meh, and I'm really ticked that they're not letting us keep the imp. That would have been the difference between a great reward and something that never leaves the toy box after the event.

Just took the SC scimmy to zombie monkeys, I guess you don't need the armor to get the bonus. Or do you get more of a bonus if you wear it? IDK, all I know is that double exp was VERY short lived. Has anyone tried playing the game yet to see how many points you get per game?

The whole concept of separate "classes" and the "combat triangle" only applies to situations where everyone is using only one class's gear, which almost never happens these days. If a meleer is using ranged armor, they're using two ends of the combat triangle. So, as a mage, to overcome that, you need to use two ends of the combat triangle as well (eg; dds their [wagon] when they put on dhide). Armor and weapons are cheap enough now that almost everyone uses more than one end of the combat triangle, and because runescape has no separate class system like in most MMOs, there is really no way to prevent this. So if you want to succeed, you're just going to have to adapt like everyone else. Fortunately that isn't really too difficult to do in RS.

It's ironic because a lot of people are whining about how they hate seeing threads like this yet they keep bumping it up over what they consider "real achievements". Why is it that people seem to enjoy projecting negative energy more?

What level were they? If they were significantly lower level than you than I doubt using a DDS spec or an AGS spec would have made much more of a difference; if any. If you'd actually try the claws yourself seeing as you have maxed melees I think you'll find they're a bit better than you give them credit for.

There are programs out there that can cut out the two middle steps, but yeah, that's pretty impressive considering the only reason I can't be arsed to keep updating my blog is because uploading pics is a pain. And really, coin value doesn't have to matter in every instance. ;) I might have posted a similar thread if I hadn't been so intimidated by all of these ostentatious lads that have cropped up in the last couple of years.

None of the stuff that my parents have gotten from those TV ads have ever worked as advertised. You know what really annoys me about those ads? Every single one I have EVER seen goes "BUT WAIT, CALL NOW AND WE'LL DOUBLE YOUR OFFER!" near the end. Every. Single. One. Blargh. :wall:

Yeah, defiantly. There's so much to do in this world, and further, the universe that we would never even consider now because of our limited lifespans. And I'd be able to experience it all without stress and a range of other emotions that are a result of our awareness of our own mortality.

Lol funny. I knew he was trying to rip me. He even pranced around saying he could sell 2 bottoms for 1 top. Hard to believe the #2 player is a cheapskate. He eventually did sell me the top though so I'm happy... So I guess this can be locked now. I just hope that it actually doesn't crash, but seeing how friggin hot the top looks and how rare it is I doubt it.

I recently got 2 pairs of d claws for demons, and I honestly have no idea how to get rid of them and make money doing it. I'm honestly seething mad at the trade limit and Jagex's incompetence in both setting the price and refusal to give it a much needed bump; If it weren't for that I could have made a killing after getting one a day after WGS was released. Near as I can tell, all junk gathering methods are equal or grossly lower than the income I can make with 99 rc. Obviously not a good option, unless there is actually some secret uber method of gathering junk. Which I doubt. Sooo... the only option it seems left for me is to trade the claws for 3rd age. All pieces of 3rd age seem to be going up steadily on ge and I don't forsee a crash anytime soon especially due to how discouraged from the TT updates people are for doing clues. Problem is, I can't figure this damned market out. There doesn't seem to be any set street prices on this stuff; pretty much the same with claws. So I need some advice from someone who has dealt with this insanity on what would be a good deal. Of course, there's always the option of BH trading, but I'm not really prepared to cross over into that realm out of greed. I'd rather wait for GE price to catch up to the market price (which I know will have substantially lowered by the time that happens... :cry:)

No you're not, otherwise you wouldn't have included it. And to say the least, "barely get to play the game anymore" is a monstrous exaggeration. Otherwise I agree, randoms are a waste of time and need to be rebalanced by updating some of them and taking others out. Which is exactly what Jagex said that they were working on a while ago; I wouldn't be surprised if they gave that to us with the christmas update or next month.

Thought it would be worth bumping this topic due to new hairstyles. Especially since so many of them are anime-esque. Working on finding someone new to "cosplay" myself, I have a few ideas.

+1. IMO Uris completely destroyed treasure trails. I never got anything good even before uris, but they were actually somewhat fun. But wasting 4+ rows of bankspace on stuff I'd NEVER use otherwise is NOT fun. And there's like 2-3 of those every freaking clue. Reward wise though, they KO puched clues with firelighters and sweets, and kicked the already dead horse with the "construction rewards". I alch clues out of contempt. I encourage the OP to do the same. (BTW, god pages aren't rare anymore)

When I'm in a good mood I'll hop for people regardless of their level. But usually a few hours into slaying I'll have been crashed by like 30% of the people that log in at the spot (and people log in fairly often) so my good moods rarely last very long. After that if I find someone who comes of as even the least bit rude when telling me to hop I'll crash them.
