That 74m cashpile in the bank was burning a hole in my pocket, and dragon bones didn't seem like they'd ever go back down so I just sucked it up and bought the 31k bones. A week and 9 levels later, I now fly among the aviansies. I just went ahead and got it and didn't even bother to screen the level. The emote is much nicer, anyway. Still going to be wearing my RC cape, though. So yeah, all that's left for maxed combat now is summoning. I've only got like 1.6m left though so... back to the nat altar for me :

Fair enough, hell I didn't even post my 99 defense + 99 magic + 99 HP because I didn't feel like it. But it's his first 99, I posted my first 99 as well (cooking) because I was pretty proud of it at the time. Just because I don't wear that cape anymore it doesn't detract from how I felt about it then. Honestly 2/10 is a little harsh. Worst I'd give it is a 6/10. 2/10 is something I'd give to like, 60 prayer or something.

That 6% mortality rate is a bit misleading. That doesn't necessarily mean that if you get swine flu you have a 3 in 50 chance of dying from it, it simply means that 3 out of 50 people that get it die. Most of the deaths will probably come from developing countries, and the few that are in developed countries will probably be a result of negligence on the part of the infected, their families, or both. Just take care of yourself and you'll be fine. Probably :P

Cool challenge, I might try the zil one somtime when I'm extremely bored. How hard could it be?... :uhh: Just to be clear though: Is it legal in this challenge to use PoH resources such as eagle lecterns/portal/mounted glory?

Ok, that's slightly unlucky, but I'm sure you'll have other opportunities. Look on the bright side - at least they're not nearly as rampant as before. I get them about 1/5 as often as I used to, and when I do it's worth 850 summoning exp. There will always be bad luck occurances in runescape. If it's not a random, it'll be lag. In fact, I'd be willing to bet lag causes many more losses like this than randoms. At least in the case of randoms you're relatively safe where you end up.

Meh, not my favorite quest. Just more of the old "go talk to these people", fight some easy monster, and get practically no reward. Did manage to kill a couple of hours on it not using a guide, though. It's also nice that king vargas is no longer a hulking monstrosity. Can't wait for the "actual" 150 they promised. :) The april fools thing is pretty funny, but I wonder if cabbages will still be wieldable after this, or if we'll get some other permanent item like we did the last two aprils.

Well, the first big change was RS2. The ability to note all items enabled trades to be done easily in bulk. Then of course there was the trade limit, the GE, and the database.

I'd say about $3k. I probably would never get that amount, but I don't exactly want to sell it either. "Peronix" has kind of been MY alias for over a decade, and I don't really want someone else walking around with that name. Plus, I've put many, many hours into my skills like 99 RC. That said, I would never sell my account for any amount unless I really needed the money (unless we're taking BIG bucks here...). The time I've put into this game kind of ensures that I have something else to fall back on if I get bored of other games.

If anything, this is more like reinstating the compliments forum. From what I could tell all people did in the game feedback forum was rant - though, somehow the rants seemed a little more constructive after that update. Back to venting, I guess?

I have melee and range. It is VERY useful for slaying tormented demons. Wearing void range is better than full armadyl, and wearing void melee is about as good as full melee gear. So, when I switch attack syles, all I have to do is put on the appropriate helmet. I've gotten over 100+ kills there fairly easily, which netted me a 3m shard. :) Mage I've heard is totally useless. Though, don't take my word for it; I don't have that helm

I hope this means they'll actually have a hand in helping fansites develop their calculators and such. Tip.it has had some great calculators developed by very intelligent people through intensive testing and such, but for as close as as they've gotten, I've yet to see a foolproof max hit calculator. It would be interesting to have a look into the actual mechanics of what determines hits.

Interesting idea. Though, I think it would be a bit OP even if it drained fast. It should be something you use in a dire situation or strategically - not to be an omgwtftank. The prayer drain shouldn't be 2 points a second though. I think simply 3x a regular protection prayer would work fine. However, 1) It should be the only prayer you can have active 2) You shouldn't be able to recover prayer by any means while using it 3) Upon disabling it, you shouldn't be able to use any prayers agian for 5 seconds. Not that long of a delay, but pleanty long enough for Jad or Kree to own you :P
