  1. -.- Guess who has all combat stats maxed but summoning? THIS GUY. I think I'll wait to use the exp until Jagex reconsiders their [bleep] move to leave summoning out. Hell I got nothing to loose by waiting.
  2. The reason another MSSW5 isn't going to happen is that tip.it (allegedly) did not give the other fansites sufficient advanced notice for MSSW4 and as such not many from Zybez rallied for the war, while a great many tip.iters turned out. Because of this, tip.it utterly crushed the other fansites. Now none of the other fansites are willing to participate in future wars, which IMO is bullcrap, but what can you do
  3. Heheh, I remember doing this quest at 60 agility :) ... :wall:
  4. ^ ^ Holy crap. Only 23 kills after the last pair, too. 92m cashpile now. I think I've officially made more money with monster hunting than RCing now...
  5. Darn pic didn't take, is why I'm at my PoH... oh well, the adventurers log is enough proof I think. Anyway, thank you TDs for claws #4. Spent 30m of #3 on a BGS, nice to be back up to 50m again. And yes, I teled right after claws. Probally could have gotten another kill, but seriously, a lot of my gear protects over claws, and chances are very low I'd get another on the next kill. Can't be too careful after my power went out and made me loose void... :ohnoes:
  6. 10/10 just for giving me a fairly good idea of the droprate. Good to know they aren't so ridiculously rare that I'd never get one again (gotten 3 so far, which I attributed to nothing more than amazing luck).
  7. Ah, I remember that one. Accidentally clicked "OK" on the dialog once and got a virus. I crushed it like an ant within 5 minutes of getting it. It's really annoying; trying to click "X" will result in a popup dialog box which will give you a virus if you click OK. Usually have to CTRL+ALT+DEL and shut down the firefox process to get rid of it
  8. Btw, don't know if anyone has mentioned this yet... but the music in the new dungeon is downright epic. Sounds like it has elements from Temple Desecrated and The Evil Within. Me thinks Jagex music making skillz are getting gooood. Me like.
  9. Yo i used your guide to be possibly the first to beat jad as a slayer task thanks man  About that, does slayer helmet work on the fight caves creatures? (assuming so)
  10. Uhh... I don't see how level 3 skillers having to go through ancient cavern to get their cape is any worse than being forced to do Shilo Village. In fact it's probably better. All you would really need is a couple of friends to fend off the dragons and wfiends. At least, I don't remember you needing quests to get into cavern. Might be wrong.
  11. I think what Juna foresees what Zaros will do when he returns. Currently, it seems that Zamorak (or at least his followers) is no match for Saradomin. Thus, Lucien wishes to become a God to tip the scales in the favor of evil. Juna knows full well that when Zaros will returns, he will take revenge on the fools that betrayed him, including Zamorak and Lucien, and then take his rightful place as the God of Evil, Saradomin's equal and opposite. Or, perhaps there was another god of righteousness before Saradomin. I recall Saradomin being much weaker than Zaros, actually. Perhaps Armadyl?
  12. Mathematically impossible. Jad is the 192nd monster in the caves, and she only assigns 80 to 110 TzHaar. ...Which is why she upgrades your task to 280 TzHaar should you accept
  13. Not even close. Ironically, the 132 icefiends upstairs seemed to drop charms more often, and were easier to kill. But even they only drop charms like 20-40% of the time. As for the new prayers, now that I've had a chance to test them fully I've got to say I'm pretty underwhelmed. The deflect prayers only have a recoil effect and then only VERY rarely. In fact I didn't see a deflection once at TDs, and only a few times during a trip to waterfiends. The sap def prayer didn't seem to make a big enough dent in the TDs defense to justify the prayer drain. Also the berserker prayer drains too much prayer to justify prolonging stat bonuses. Those saved super sets will only equate to more prayer pot doses drunk, which are obviously far more expensive. Oh and obviously these new prayers are very bad choices for prayer flashing, because they require at least two turns for the drain effect to kick in. Flashing piety would be a much better choice than flashing turmoil. And then there's soul split. Honestly, for most applications the healing just doesn't justify the prayer drain. Replacing a protection prayer for soul split is just a bad idea. You use protection prayers at certain monsters because they hit you hard and often, thus if you used soul split you'd have it on like 24/7. So why not just use the protection prayer instead? And for other slayer tasks it's just fluff really. Uni and bunyip do a good enough job. Replacing them for soul split would just be unjustifiably expensive if you needed to use prayer potions, because they're friggin 14k each. Not that I don't like the new prayer book, it defiantly has its uses, such as PvP. I could absolutely rip through people in Castlewars using turmoil, and understandably so because not only do you get a ~30% attack bonus, but the enemy also takes a 15% hit to defense.
  14. My god. Soul split is GODLY. It works on NPCs. I can imagine for just about any slayer task, and waterfiend trips that all you would need to do is flip on soul split for 15-20 seconds to heal up. I was just at monkey guards. Turmoil + Soul split was more than enough to keep me alive with 4 of them pounding on me.
  15. 1. No items are absolutely required, but obviously to do a barrows run you need the gear to do that and to survive metal dragons / waterfiends appropriate gear would help immensely. 2. Some people have said it works on both, but I have yet to test it myself. 3. Yes. 4. If you have turmoil, perhaps. Maybe not so much if you don't. 5. Tested with 0 prayer bonus, turmoil drained about 5 prayer points after 10 seconds. Deflection prayer drained about 4. Probably not an entirely accurate test but I hope that gives you an idea.
  16. Finally an awesome quest! I've been waiting for Zaros to return since I did Digsite back in RSC lol. Btw... I had my music turned off until I saw "Track unlocked: Zaros Stirs". So I flip my music on. I immediately get goosebumps when I hear it. So awesome, easily on par with "Temple Desecrated" and "Sound of Guthix" IMO. Oh, and now I don't regret my decision to blow tens of millions on 99 prayer so much, heheh.
  17. Today... sigh... my power went out on the last demon of a TD trip. Literally, if it had waited 30 seconds more to fail, I would have been fine. But since it didn't, I lost my entire void set, not to mention a pair of dragon boots, all those diamond bolts, and the 9 or ten rune weapons the demons had dropped. Oh joy, back to pest control. -.- How long will another 1050 points take? #-o Oh well I suppose, could be much worse. It's the first bit of seriously bad luck I've had with connection.
  18. 2147483647 needles. Eat that, cactaurs.
  19. Peronix

    Omegle.

Haha, I love the omegle logger thing. Favorite thing to say when starting a conversation with that: The game. Funny to see the other two people blame each other for making each other loose.
  20. Was wondering why the forum all the sudden changed to blue. Cool, I like. =D>
  21. Finally after blowing all my cashpile on 99 prayer, I'm up to a decent amount again! This was just too awesome. I was getting very frustrated after about a dozen trips with nothing, and on this particular kill I was swearing because BOTH of the eastern demons were on me, the one just to the east of me in this pic kept hitting me hard when I went out to darklight the demon I was killing. After taking a fair bit of damage I said to myself "GOD DAMN, I BETTER GET SOMETHING GOOD FOR THIS [cabbage]". I nearly shat myself when I saw those babies on the ground. FINALLY!!!!@@@ :D
  22. Not true at all, I've tested this myself.
  23. Wouter, I defiantly see your point, and I'm glad we don't have something like PvP in all worlds, everywhere anymore. Because sometimes we really do need to just relax. But the thing is, there are already a wide range of great alternatives available in non-wilderness for skilling. Don't like making natures with the abyss? Well, you always had the option of doing it the old fashioned way. Yes it was slower, but it stands to reason that higher risk should yield higher rewards. I'm not quite sure why you feel pressured to use the risky method just because of the higher reward. I know full well that PKing and monster hunting could be a much better source of income for me, but I'd rather stick with something a bit less risky. The reason I liked riskier skilling methods is because I'm not quite bold enough to engage in PKing, yet I find regular skilling mundane and boring. Abyss RCing carried an element of fun, because there was some strategy involved in dodging the PKers. I think that similar PvP skilling methods would inherently require a bit of strategy and planning ahead, and perhaps even collaboration with fellow players. That's the kind of thing I really think should be encouraged.
