May not seem like a big deal to some, but this is a first for me. When I was a newb I killed about 1k iron dragons in hopes of a dragon drop. Nothing. I trained to 86 slayer doing all my iron dragon tasks along time way. Nothing. Today I got 82 herb. I remembered I had an iron task, so I figured I'd stew for some super antifire to try out GS / Whip + defender / Z spear at iron dragons. I liked whip best, tbh. Didn't expect this at all. About time, noob dragons :rolleyes:

I used cannon on kalphites quite a while ago (like a year), and it was like how the OP described it. Used it recently, and it seemed a LOT faster. So... it's back to the way it was now? Ok. Whatever, that's cool.

Ok I managed to get into the game (parents aren't home atm :)), thankfully they're giving new characters a starting rag outfit now. It's really, really laggy. Took me 30 minutes just to figure out the controls. Anyway, there are some things about this I like. The first person aspect of it is amazing; you can actually see your feet when you look down, and your shadow and stuff. The environmental graphics are amazing. However, I really, really don't like the character models. They look even worse than vanilla oblivion character models. Can't really comment about the combat as of now since it's very laggy as you can expect from a beta, and because of that it takes like 2 seconds from when I click and when I see the animation. Can't really do squat atm.

I got it working. Had to update my graphics driver and update the physics engine. That said, I'm probably not going to want to play this until they get an option to censor the nudity. Sure it's great that they geared this toward more mature players, such is sorely needed in the MMO market. But I'd at least like the option to not see it. Yeah I'm almost 20 but I'm still in college and at home and it would be kinda awkward playing it around anyone :)

Well, I downloaded the client and updated it. But every time I launch the game nothing happens. I checked in task manager and an exe called NowGame[Caution: Executable File] appears in processes and then closes a few seconds later. I'm going to venture a guess that this has something to do with the fact that I'm running windows 7 ultimate 64 bit. This OS has given me nothing but crap since I've installed it :angry:

OK, so did you lag out and loose your internet connection for a whole 6 minutes, like when my power went out at TDs and made me loose void? Or did you just not bother to invest in an Angel of Death gravestone? Cause in the latter case I have very little sympathy. I KNOW it's possible to get back to wyverns in under 6 minutes. Especially since you spawned in falador.

This one has piqued my interest. DLing on torrent now, should be done when I get home from classes. Hope it's better than DF :)

This sounds a lot like what Kuradal was seen doing. Sounds like a hoax, and a very unoriginal one at that.

Nah. We were screwed over on the last update when they let people have a chance to double nats and other runes, but no chance to double runes that were normally not double-able. It esentially made 91 RC a ceiling to RC's effectiveness, rather than a reward. With this update there is actually now a point to having a high RC level.

Well, I give up. It's been like 20+ runs now without any more mints. Maybe they built in some kind of mechanism to ensure diminishing returns as the day goes on or something. Or maybe I'm having a huge FML moment. IDK why I'd get mints like every other run and then suddenly stop getting them. On the bright side, I now have more seed pods than I will ever use. Seriously, I got like 3 of them in a row. RAGE.

Btw, was it normal to get so many half keys before? I've gotten like 4 teeth and 3 loops so far.

Hehehe. 1 gnome scarf and 70ish cakes in the last hour. ~4m an hour atm? At least until tomorrow. But for now I'm making a KILLING.

Haha just got another 10 cakes. Sold 20 on GE max for 770k. Took me a total of 20 mins to get them too... It was like stealing money. :grin:

Of course that's not taking into account the time savings of the ghraak, but I'll have to look into that.

I have been clanless for a couple of years, and I've decided to try and look for a group of like minded players. I'm going to say up front that I would prefer a clan that isn't like the majority of clans out there right now where I have to be active or I get kicked. Frankly I think having to commit to a clan or be kicked is just stupid. It's a GAME. I can't really be bothered to go on the forums and tell people that I will be away. That's my business. So if there is any decently active clans out there where I don't have to re-apply every time I want to come back, I am interested. If not... fine.

No, it's just such a negligible effect that you should be using fero ring anyway for faster kills and thus more drops and thus more of a chance for rares than RoW would ever give you.

Yeeeah. The only FF's I haven't finished from the main series are II, III.... and VIII. Couldn't stand anymore of it L. Maybe sometime when I'm reeeally bored.

Just got 80 hunter, I'm at pisc atm trying butterfly hunting barehanded. It can be very frustrating. I've swiped at single butterflies upwards of 20 times. On the other hand, that makes it a semi afkable method (less so than WCing obviously, but moreso than chin hunting). Apparently there is some method using a single chin spawn and 5 traps. I'm clueless as to what that entails. If anyone could link me to a guide of that, I'd appreciate it. And more importantly, if you have experience in both methods to know what the approx exp/hour is (also taking into account the agil exp and how long it would take to compensate for that), I'd appreciate the advice there as well.

Just a warning, the 1 in 200 drop rate can be deceptive. Sure it might even out to that in the long run, but expect to have hugely insane dry streaks at some point. Currently 1k+ kills with 3 ruined pieces, a dragonstone, and a D med. Not fun.

Ok, can I assume you mean the net trap penguins? Or the deadfall? (net trap is actually only 20 exp less than sallys)
