  1. 233th kill? Wow that's some luck you've got there. Congrats  When I first got 65 slayer, I recorded my first 1k dusty kills. Why is that hard to believe?
  2. Wow, I'd just like to say that these last two days have been really... quiet. Usually when training at zombie monkeys I get a tele-random like every 3 trips (i.e, every 30 minutes -.-). I haven't been on much, but wow, I've done a LOT more than 3 trips, and I've only gotten the pirate one. And that got me a quick 830 summoning exp. This update is awesome. Especially since I can walk away from my computer now without having to worry about getting killed by one of the stupid, annoying attacking randoms; I just get teled, safely, to some other place. Of course out of force of habit I'll probably still be a bit paranoid for a while...
  3. On #2: Yeah... I live in California and it was the 7th I believe. But you'll never be able to convince people that it didn't happen on 6/6/06 just because of how sensationalist it sounds that the fally massacre took place on the "day of Satan". And as for the glitch; well, I'd be pretty pissed if I lost the 300kish def exp I got yesterday due to a rollback. And others would be massively pissed if they had their rare drops taken from them. As bad as it is that people lost stuff due to this glitch, a rollback would almost always mean more people angry at Jagex than if they didn't. *sigh*... Damned if they do, damned if they don't, eh?
  4. This isn't the "Achievements" forum. This is the "Rate This!" forum. Nowhere does it say that "This!" has to be an achievement, but I respect your opinion anyway :P 10/10 for ruining your pure and trolling; hey, sometimes I like trolls. Just don't take it too far :shame:
  5. Yeah... well it sucks REALLY hard that all of the boxes from tokens didn't have the option of giving exp lamps. I was really hopeful that I was going to be able to trade my 48 tokens for 40k summoning exp  BTW: I give that frog token collection a 7/10. That's a LOT.
  6. And you're the epitome of a [wagon]. How so? It really is unoriginal :| 1/10 I could understand your reasoning if an entire outfit was completely unoriginal, but branding a single item "unoriginal" is just bullcrap. Of course any item that looks good and easy to obtain is going to be widely used. If it works well with an outfit, why the hell not? Though honestly, this outfit doesn't look like you even put much effort into it. 5/10... and I'm being nice :P
  7. Fair enough, though personally if I wasn't already 99 hp I'd prefer to just let that be trained along with my other combat skills since maxing all of those will certainly eventually get me to 99 hp. But I suppose since you can basically AFK, this would be a good option for people who have homework/ect to do. At least for now :P
  8. From what I've seen of the rewards, the minigame really isn't worth playing :| C'mon... 30 crimsons for 12 zeal? That takes what... a minimum of 1:20? Okay, okay, I know minigames aren't supposed to be about the rewards, they're supposed to be fun and the rewards are just the icing on the cake... but the game is just downright boring from what I've experienced. The arena follows a very linear path, and the whole ability to capture the obelisk means that if you're on the loosing side all you can do pretty much is sit at the obelisk whacking people repeatedly hoping to make some kind of a difference. Honestly, I find actual slayer more fun than this. I hate slayer, btw.
  9. 7/10. Pretty nice; was my first 99, though the cape is kinda gathering dust in my bank now. :-w It was a very nice skill to max while I was still in school.
  10. Probally Evare from FFX. I get owned, I go back and train for a while. I try again, and I get owned again. Train some more... get owned some more. :wall: As for Seymour Flux... he did wipe me the first time, but then I did what I usually do when I can't beat a boss; I filled all of Yuna's summons' overdrives and destroyed him. Which is why Evare is a screw you moment, because you don't HAVE Yuna. :wall: There was also one time when I was playing Zombie Survival in Garry's Mod and I was owning the zombies, and I get killed... 5 freaking seconds before the game ends. Godamnit, the zombies always win. -.-
  11. Well it seems kind of obvious that if Jagex specifically went and took words off the censor list that there are some contexts where using the words would be okay. For example saying "Wow, this sucks." would probably be okay while "Suck my..." would not.
  12. Very much doubt we'd beat WoW, it's got such a huge monopoly on the MMO market it's pathetic. Very much overrated imo but not surprised with that result... very surprised that Runescape is behind FFIX though. From what I've heard that game takes such a ludicrous amount of time to get anywhere that it's really not even worth trying.
  13. Gosh, you lucky bastards. I've killed 100+ KBDs solo with nothing. 7/10 to the OP, I suppose.
  14. Don't you mean Falador instead of Varrock, since that came out before 2008. Whats wrong with the prayer shield? Yes, I meant Fally obviously :P And nothing is wrong with the prayer shield, it DOES have the most prayer bonus of any shield, but I probably would never use it because I'd rather either be using zammy book for the offensive bonuses, or DFS if I need defense. There's nothing particularly WRONG with it, it's just that it's nowhere near as useful as the other rewards; at least for me (I don't farm :P)
  15. I'd have to say the varrock and frem achievement diaries. The first three diaries had rewards that were undeniably awesome, but both of these were kinda meh.
  16. Mining. It's completely useless and boring, I'd probably never max it otherwise. Summoning is tempting, but that's something that I'm going to for sure be getting sometime in the future. No sense wasting a wish on something bearable.
  17. You guys can say 99 RuneCrafting is buyable all day until you're blue in the face, but until you've actually tried buying the essence you need and spending the hundreds of hours needed to craft it all to get 99 RC, your argument is pointless. It doesn't matter if you have all the essence you need, it's just about as helpful as having a rune pickaxe in the bank for 99 mining. Anyway, grats to the OP on getting all "buyable" skills out of the way. 10/10 for that
  18. This sounds almost exactly like what my idea of an ideal MMO would be. The only thing that would make it better is completely customizable armor/weapons/ect. I'm defiantly going to give this one a try.
  19. I do it to kill time when I really, actually have nothing better to do. Which, thankfully, is getting rarer and rarer. I used to play this game as an escape from the real world just because I used to be so shy and scared of it, but thankfully that's changed too. As for why I play this game most often and not others; it's because of all the updates. Nowadays I pretty much pay $5 a month just to get on and play the updates and a little leveling. Other games like WoW and CoH/V are worth spending a months worth of credit on once in a while to try out the updates that they very rarely come out with, and they're fun, but after that there really isn't that much to do to justify blowing $15 a month.
  20. It's called selling D Claws + Phat. :wall: Yes, it's very nice when you can't sell your party hat and you get claws as a drop from the demons, but not everyone has a party hat.
  21. 100m? Pshh that's junk traders for you. I seriously doubt even one person with dragon claws is going to have 97m worth of junk. They'll just get traded for 3a, which is basically just trading one theoretical price for another. I really wish Jagex would just set the price at ~20m right now. I bet you a lot of people with claws would rush to sell them for the tangible money and they'd plummet.
  22. This might not be particularly funny, but I found it rather amusing. I'm training at zombie monkeys and some level 91 walks in. And... Him: Get a life Me: Grow up. Him: Lol *A conspicuously long while later* Him: Nerd *He teles* Someone's insecure :
  23. When I have kids, most importantly, when they're throwing a tantrum or angry at me I'll let them be, but while they are in that state I'm going to ignore them. When they misbehave, I won't hesitate to discipline them, but I'll do it without showing any signs of anger or frustration. When they're in a calm, happy, or otherwise balanced state of mind I'll shower them with love and attention. This way they learn, not to be afraid of their emotions or me, but that that kind of negative energy isn't going to get them what they want. And by calmly disciplining them where due, I'm not being a hypocrite because I'm showing them that I'm not using anger to get them to do what I want, either. It's my hope that by doing this they'll be a lot better off than I have been. My own father was always so defensive and took everything personally, and told us we had no right to be mad at him, and demanded our respect. Me and both of my siblings have been very shy as a result, and have had a very hard time making friends. It's been very difficult for me to overcome... I'm learning things right now that I feel I should have learned a LONG time ago. I don't want my kids to have to go through that.
  24. There are over 400,000 people with 44+ RC. I wouldn't say that's very likely. I agree that it's probably farming, but then again I'm sure a lot of people realize how much money you can make with it; it's just that they can't be arsed to do herb runs because they just hate doing it. (me!) I know you didn't ask this but I just have to say it... the most overrated skill in RS is slayer. It doesn't even make that much money and is very slow combat exp. It's pretty much only useful at 83 for getting a faster sara/zammy KC at GWD...
