You're forgetting that there will also be a ton of buyers watching the prices of items. If people start undercutting each other, "merchants" will immediately swoop in, buy the items, and try to resell for a higher price.

Not true. When the GE comes out there will no longer be a reason to undercut, because you don't have to spend any of your own time selling stuff. You can just put it up for the highest reasonable price, and if it takes a week to sell, it's a week you spent doing other things. But if enough people like you get spooked into liquidating your assets, prices on those items WILL drop, not because of the GE, but because you thought they were going to drop.

This, I believe, is an excellent response. Trouble is, what are the reasonable alternatives? It seems that once you allow staking, you allow people to abuse the system. I think one good alternative would be to simply raise the cap to something like 500k every 15 minutes. 2m an hour is still really good, but not anywhere near as ridiculous as being able to win billions in rares on a good day. That would also still limit RWTers from using it, because there isn't a RWTer out there that will wait around for 5 hours to transfer 10m when they could just do it on a throwaway account.

Perhaps. But if they do repeal it, it will be because of the few people who actually contributed some sensible arguments and reasonable alternatives, NOT because of the [developmentally delayed]ed rioters.

6/10. Very... average. I'm not saying an outfit with like no gp value makes it less of an outfit, but truthfully, that dosen't look very extraordinary.

I don't know if this would be such a good idea. I find it kind of hard to see on the lowest brightness setting, and if night is anything like that + being in the zammy fortress in GWD, I wouldn't really like it too much. If it brought about some interesting features, I'd accept it and learn to cope, but if it were something just for looks... I'd find myself on the rants sticky trying to convince Jagex to remove it O:)

Good idea, would be a neat little feature. Although I don't see why it's necessary. Aren't we capable of noting our major goals in, I dunno, our brains? :-s

Good idea, I would love to alch while watching tournaments. Would be much more interesting to watch than normal duels (especially now that nobody can use 1v1 for serious fights -.-)

What about rune rock pking, or clue pking? Both are equally bad as described, but do rune miner/cluers complain about them like rcers? :roll: Yes. There just aren't as many topics about it because there aren't nearly as many rune miners/clue hunters as there are abyss RCers. I've never gotten attacked on a wildy clue, anyway... Besides, rune miners can't complain about the PKers, because killing a rune miner is actually good money. If you manage to kill one with a nearly full load that's as much as 250k+ made, and rune miners are much easier to kill; you don't need TB, and you don't have to be within 5 levels of them. In other words, they're easy pickins, unlike RCers which are comparable to greased swine.

I read it. It made me realize that RC pkers are even worse then I thought. +1 I lol'd at the second one where the RCer 3 speced him. Rofl, owned. :P 2/3 said they'd run, too so... and btw, just because all 3 said they're well mannered dosen't mean they are. Just about everyone considers themselves well mannered, unless they're a sadistic [wagon].

Who knows why they do it. All I know is that none of them do it for the money. That's a stupid excuse. I've had so many ice bursts, blitzes, and ice barrages, entanges, teleblocks ect splash on me, I'm sure that the combined total of all the runes used against me is worth FAR more than the items I've lost by dying to them (twice total, so far). Of course not all RCers are as good at dodging PKers as I have come to be, but generally RCers in my level bracket (110-120) are, or pretty close.

No, I've never "lent" any of my items to anyone. I don't think I'd even trust any of my RL friends with my RS items. I've had some bad experiences with trusting some of my friends... I know a few of them I could probably trust, but I know of at least one of them I couldn't trust with a tinderbox. He apparently knew my pass at one point and I started to find small amounts of gp turn up missing. :uhh: (nobody but me knows my pass anymore, I'm 100% sure :wink:)

I really doubt Zybez is to blame... :lol: The crash occurred because either because A: Stakers began to sell off some of their rares and other items or B: People thought that's what they'd do and began selling off their items in a panic so as not to loose money. Probably B. Either way, the lowered prices has caused an increased demand for the items, and prices are going back up now.

10/10 for calling Runecrafting fun. Seriously, ftw. 8-)

I seriously doubt they're going to release life runes, because as they said in the article, summoning isn't going to be part of the magic skill, but something new entirely.

Bump Nat count so far: 82k. I'll post a pic when I break 100k. I'm about 300k exp away from 92, also. (91-92 was originally 600k exp)

Sounds... interesting. I'm just hoping this summoning thing doesn't make combat even easier than it already is. Some boss monsters are already solo-able, but if you can call up level 100+ monsters to distract the bosses and fight with you that will be kind of cheap.
