  1. nice work there...i vaguely remember u saying that u were only in 6th grade a yr ago? so...that would make you only in 7th grade this year? dammmm....uber nice work if thats true.
  2. nice time  my fastest was 5:50 ish
  3. i only log on once a month or so to pk if im really bored. and *hopefully* itll stay this way. :)
  4. THANK YOU! It looks like NO ONE bothered to look at my link on Vitamin D production due to sunlight exposure.... bacteria in ur large intestines produce vitamins as well... but the point is, vitamins dont have calories. and no calories=no energy=no cellular respiration=even less enery=death. you cannot live off of vitamins alone. plants and some other autotrophs are the only organisms that can convert sunlight to chemical energy using photosynthesis or other means. starvation and direct sun gazing to improve ur health? sounds more like a formula for anorexia and blindness to me. :?
  5. i think the most widely accepted version of the string theory allows 11 dimensions but string theory is just a mathematical formula, there is really no proof to what the dimensions are and how they really look like if they did exist. i think string theory is only accepted because there is so much mathematical beauty in it that it must be true to some extent. and if you can get the equations to match up using different types of variables, i think there are actually an infinite numbers of dimensions to be found using string theory. hmmm....if string theory is true (which i personally doubt), would it even be possible to visualize all the dimensions? i think they would just exist, but as human beings, we would never have the capability to tell what they look like. i mean, if you have never seen something, how could u tell what it looks like? its like trying to find a color that is off the visible spectrum. back to the 4th dimension though, i understand using a 4th variable to define time would give you another dimension in that sense. but i dont understand how you could jump from space to time...how can 2 overlapping spaces form time? lak;jdflkadsjf;laksdjf?? :?
  6. this argument that rares are underpriced does not make sense. :? what gives the blue phat its 70mil value in the first place? using your reasoning, there would never be a "right" price for rares. you would always be able to argue that you can cash your rare in for more steel bars than the initial trade through a process of high alching. also, would any1 be willing to pay the "full" amount of steel bars for a phat? the answer is no, because steel bars, like partyhats, can be resold. steel bars are not limited to be smithed and alched. even if the buyer does alch his steel bars, he is not limited to spend the money he receives from alching on another stash of steel bars. as for your article, id have to disagree. smithing is grossly overcalculated, for the following reasons: 1. people have massive amounts of steel plates just sitting in their banks 2. a good chunk of the smithing exp came from items other than steel plates. iron and rune smithing account for a particularly large portion. 3. in the earlier days of runescape, smithing was not power leveled using steel bars. power leveling did not really begin until bluerose13x revolutionized the rs economy by hitting 99 smithing and unlocking all of the rune items. combat is under-calculated. 200k per person is way too low of an estimate. there are individuals with around 100-200 mil combat-related exp, think about how much gp they alone would have produced. btw, im curious, how did you come up with the total exp amounts?
  7. looks nice, but dont ditter so much or itll turn out like a rocky statue. :?
  8. niiiice. i admire ur ARTwork---its not cheap and cartoony like most pixels i see. :D suggestions: 1. change the layout (its very boring right now, everything is parallel and equally spaced) 2. i dunno what overall effect youre going for, but maybe change the shading a bit. its good that youre using different colors to shade, but right now the contrast between the shades and the original color is too great imo.
  9. niiice sig :D. happy belated birthday J272!
  10. pshhh....pixel artists just liek to brag that they made their fancy pixels all in paint...and therefore are more leet. (i'd no, i used to make pixels :P ) anyways, in answer to the original question...paint imo is lacking in many areas. it doesnt have layers...colors are a hassel to make yourself...but it does have all the necessary components to make a pixel sig. i suggest using graphics gale in conjunction with some of paint's features (such as the left/right click 2-color ability--very useful for fixing linework). this is off topic-ish....could some1 plz tell me if adobe photoshop and illustrator CS are well suited for pixels? if so, what features do they have that graphics gale/MS paint do not have? thnx
  11. what are brushed pixels? in fact what is a brush? lol. i recently got photoshop CS and adobe illustrator, but i havnt had the time to figure out how to use them yet....are they any good for pixel drawings?
  12. um...just exactly what part of this picture did you make? :?
  13. um. not to flame. but the shading is completely wrong. i suggest putting a real box under strong light and observing it carefully.
  14. it looks very nice :D , but has shading and proportion issues. :? id rate 7/10
  15. wow jeppoz....veeeerry nice. 9/10 i love ur sigs, lots of creativity and detail. c/c i take 1 point off because your shading is wrong. the dark/light value of an object should be determined mostly by its angle in respect to the light source. and secondly by any reflected light and shadows. it seems on this sig your shading is based instead on the distance from the light source. you more than make up for this though with detail and originality.
  16. oooo....very nice. :D all i have to say is be careful with dittering. dont overuse it. cant wait to see the final product.
  17. so what if buyers turn the stolen ipods in? the thieves already got their money. its extremely difficult to track people down through the internet. no company (especially one as reputable as ebay) would give out their customers' personal information. it doesnt matter how many ip addresses the cops track, the thieves identities will remain secret unless they do something really stupid digitally. anyhow, i highly doubt whoever stole these ipods are going to be selling them online. this is organized crime and theyll probably have the ipods shipped to different dealers in tens or even hundreds of cities and sell them on the streets for say 100 bucks each.

    North Korea

Before the invasion, bush had evidence that saddam had weapons of mass destruction, which could be supplied to terrorists and then used against the united states. although we now all know that there were probably no such weapons, no1 could tell for sure before the iraqi war. so bush had 2 choices: 1. sit on his hands and hope that the intelligence is false 2. attack iraq and eliminate the threat he chose the latter i didnt support invading iraq a few years ago, but people were scared after 9/11. (the public demands silly things when they are scared. what do you think the reaction wouldve been if it turned out that one of saddams missiles was used on new york?) so i dont blame bush for what he did. things arnt turning out too bad in the middle east... the war was definitely not about oil. how much had been spent on the war? 150+ billion as of now. you could invest half of that into oil drilling on other parts of the world and still get way more oil than you could ever get out of iraq. im sure Bush never said that because Vietnam is a communist country.

    North Korea

nobody would invade china, that would be political suicide...plus, i dun think any country or current alliance has the military power to invade and occupy any part of modern day china. current relations between north korea and china also are not at the same level as 50 years ago. although china is korea largest benefactor, it recently cut back economic supplies to north korea in order to pressure korea to abandon its nuclear program. i dont think korea having nukes will lead to WWIII, but its making me uncomfortable cuz north korea's leader is a nutjob. theres no telling who he would use the nukes on. if they had another guy instead of kim jong (or wutever his name is) as the leader of north korea, id agree with wut pyro said: theyll need the nukes to protect themselves against invasion. bottom of food chart, what the heck is that supposed to mean?? Has he let up on terrorists at all?? Ah yeah so what day was Bin laden caught then? bin laden, multi-billionaire, head of the worlds' largest terrorist organization, isnt exactly easy to catch... at least he caught saddam, give him credit for that. he is also doing a good job in the middle east, lots of countries are making steps towards democracy. there is alot of hype against him, but if you look at bush's years in office objectively, youll see hes done a decent job with foreign affairs.
  20. theres a guy cheerleeder at our school. hes a nice guy and i dun think hes gay. there are alot more gay guys in high school than ud think. i personally know 2 people that openly admit theyr gay, they hug me sometimes and thats as far as it goes lol. nothing to be scared of.
  21. i go to my high school gym. its free and open everyday for off season training. :D if you dont want to improve body image and not spend too much money, id suggest buying a couple pairs of dumbells. you could do just about every workout using dumbells and a pullup bar. also get lots of protein. just doing pushups and situps will make you stronger, but wont really help much with body image. as for my workout routine, this is wut i ususally do: 3x10 bench 3x12 curl 3x10 legpress 1x30 calves 2x10 dumbell curls 2x10 squat 2x30 situps 1x8 millitary press youll also haveto put in ALOT of running or other aerobic exercise for those sexy six-packs. lots of running (u dun even have to work out)=sexy body.
  22. wow. very nice sigs. :D
  23. i like it. :D i definately see a bird...yet its not a bird..
  24. thnx for the cc's. id disagree with this one since they are smoke columns, which are very condensed do look rather solid. heres a real picture of one. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/e ... _blast.jpg ya, ill watch out for that if something similar ever comes up. :) i did mean to make the legs small tho because i thought gargoyles have very underdeveloped hindlegs...theyre flying around all the time.
